I personally dont think that we have seen the last of Ulquiorra. I think that when Tsubaki was shattered into dust and hachi told inoue that you dont need anything to bring something back, and that you can bring them back out of thin air, that tite was foreshadowing Ulquiorra turning into dust and inoue going "oh yeah! *her conversation with hachi flashback* and then she brings him back. However i dont think that he will be a hollow. I think that somehow he will be a soul reaper. ya know basically the same just differant clothes, and maybe darker skin. I think that Ulquiorra's second form is tite telling us "this is gonna be his Bankai"......maybe a little differant tho...maybe angel wings or something....

I think he would, eventually.

He released to Segunda Etapa just to attempt to shatter Ichigo's will, if that doesn't work, he might as well kill him (I believe Ulquiorra's first ressurection could kill pre-berserk Ichigo as easily as Segunda Etapa can).

Exactly. So he released again to try and break his will, he couldn't, so he killed him. Poor Ulquiorra, i bet he shat his pan- fur, when he saw Ichigo turn into a hollow.

Or at least, his definition of shock. Ulquiorra was so heartless I doubt he could feel fear or shock to the levels others can.

But in the end he was still strong (we can't deny that, he defeated the form that Ichigo took to beat Grimmjow)

And Grimmjow kept thinking he could beat Ulquiorra. I doubt he knows about segunda etapa (even if he did hear about it, I think he might have forgotten it)

Grimmjow would have definetly said something like "Wtf? Hax emo powers" had he fought Ulquiorra and saw his Segunda ressurection.

Ulquiorra definetly proved to us Ichigo at his best is only able to barely stand on even ground with the power of a released fourth Espada. Ichigo would be useless against Aizen and co. at this point.

I apologize to all you Ulquiorra fans out there, but I get the feeling that tite had him specifically for us to see ichigo's super-sayien hollow form, or at least he had that in mind the whole time.

Yes, unfortunately.

But it was pretty bad they gave him almost no road to any reappearances (unless Ichigo somehow make use of their hollow hole links) unlike Grimmjow.

Well, the problem with giving the arrancacars a way to be reseructed is that it would seem/be a plot device of scales unseen since Lucas-arts. Not that I wouldn't mind seeing Ulquiorra or Grimmjow again, but it would seem contrived and from then on all deaths would be stripped of emotional substance since you knew that they could be brought back to life somehow.
