Ok this is what i have manged to grasp from the conversations and the stats page on how the stats work. Depending on the amount of sp in one particlar skill it shows how good they are. It also cost a certain amount of sp to get a skill. however if you have a lineage up to 3 skills to do with you linage you automaticly get. However you still need to put sp into them so there effective. Correct me if im wrong on this.

On to my linage abilty. I guess my guys lineage abilty goes into evoking catorgory and is looks like its a lot like elementals as well. The difference thou is while the elementals are summoned form a different plane of a special place or whether they come from. The beasts summoned but emotion siphoning come form the person himself. so are completely unique and are probably stronger than your average elemental. That little rant there was partial for my own understanding so i can work out what i need to change to make them uniqe.

Last bit. I have an insignia for my linage.

Would spells that inflict damage and invoke status effects fall under strengthening magic as well?

@Dark

It would fall under Strengthening Magic if the damage inflicted is merely a byproduct of the spell.

I'll also counter your question with another one:

Is the primary result of the spell invoking status effects, or is it inflicting damage? Depending on which one, you'd categorize it differently.

@Bayne:

You get +525 bonus SP for any skills related to your Lineage or Inborn. You would have to spread out your SP between the two or one of them will be non-existent.

By your explanation your Lineage Magic could either fall under the category of Parcelomancy or Sacriliomancy. I'll leave it to you to decide.

Hmm...so I take it my lineage would allow me to have some ability in chemistry or herbalism? What kind of things can you do with chemistry? Are their any limitations?

@Lotus - It's strengthening then, the damage coming from it is directly due to how the status effect works. Thanks

@Rogue:

Well - obviously, you can't make a serum that makes you immortal XD.

Think of the technological state of the world in context of the RP. You might have to do some research on the knowledge of chemistry during the Medieval Ages. Try not to go past the Renaissance though.

@Ichi

Yeah. Introduction of the skill system X.x

So. Can we learn summoning arts.. or do we have to know it.. already? I'm kinda confused about that. As long as we get these points we can use them any way we want. Like making our own Familiars, elementals, etc.?

@ichi

Yes. You use SP to learn new skills in different categories - as long as you get the points. The growth of your character is completely dependent on what you want to do with it.
