Well of all the things I expected that was not one of them. I think that was a good catch to putting a spin on the hero fighting the villian head on. But is it possible there will be another twist?

Next chapter looks like it will be intense. Can't wait. I doubt Gerard is really all that bad. We'll probably find out that he's just trying to get Natsu away from Zero or something because he wants to fight him himself.

I'm disapointed about Gérard! I was happy that he turned good. But now he's evil again.
But I'm really happy that Natsu will not defeat Zero like Luxus, because we know that he is the hero and all... But he has to stop now. I hope that it's Gérard who defeat Zero.

See, the problem there is that attacking Natsu is a very poor way to get him away from Zero. It provokes Natsu to attack Gerard, unless Gerard renders him immobile/unconscious. In which case he'd be risking Natsu getting free/waking up and attacking him at a crucial part of the fight with Zero.

Meanwhile if Gerard had attacked Zero, it'd be a sign to Natsu that they are allies at the moment, and the two of them could take down Zero. Not to mention getting in a cheap shot on Zero.

This chapter had a good wtf moment. I wish that Gerard would stay evil and then see how this would affect Erza.

I liked this chapter, always love to see Natsu getting beat up. It was so cliche that it was like: They have ... minutes before it fires again, so they need to destroy it before then -.-, but I totally couldn't see this comming, and makes the plot more intense

Gerald probabily just shot natsu as revenge. Next, he will fight zero for control of nirvana. Finally, take over the world.
