the translation of the mangaka is kind of slow..and yea i'm surprised that it has a live action series but no anime..i always thought this manga has an anime >.< guess i got it mixed with something else..

This is a lot like Truama Center, the main character can also do medical procedures quicker than normally possible of good surgeons.

Anyway, he (the main character dude right?) will probably operate again, and the buff corrupted doctor that doesn't have a daughter, will continue to try and snatch him up.

I beleive the main character's name is Asada, well it would be interesting to see what he would do when joining him, but I suppose he will just keep failing, and maybe becoming a mastermind trapping him into joining the ER. *evilly laughs*

His job is all he really has, so he can be a crybaby all he wants as long as he keeps saving others while doing it.

Still, I mean the guy is a total coward..Just I mean, in front of the person that they saved's family, he's not cheerful, all he does is worry about himself..His character is so like cowardly it just pisses me off, though on the other hand, if this somehow lets him grow as a surgeon and into a strong willed person, I might change my mind :p

One of his most annoying traits as well as the before mentioned: Jealosy...example anything to do with the nurse. Hopefully that will also lead him further into becoming a good surgeon.

I want to see either another batista operation or a bit more character explanation/conversing, such as Asada or the nurse, Miki(wasn't that her name?)....

Its possible, but I don't think they will because if they were not only would it be pretty far from now, but because I'm pretty sure they wanted to seperate permanatly for some reason.

Yeah, envy can bring out the worst in people. It seemed almost as if Miki knew the old guy was there, still he might have a role to play after hearing this story other than being some grouch/douchbag.

I don't think so...I'm pretty sure that was after the war anyway, which is when I think the team broke up. This is going to be why he was kicked out of the hospital and couldn't get medical work at another hospital until now.

I wonder, just what did he mess up on, since it seems to be more than something such as letting a nurse do a job they're not suited to, maybe he went too far into the patients endurance and they died mid-operation.

I'm gonna have to agree with that. He probably went too far and maybe caused the patient to be in a coma or something.

I'd say the coma would have to be close to death for such a harsh punishment and from someone he knew quite well. Luckily it can't be because Miki's brother wanted to move higher up in the medical field since Miki said herself that it was a big mistake.

Dude, pretty much everyone in the manga is cruel, evil, demented, whatever.

Yep, the reality of manga. I still wonder if, in reality, the world is like that.

gr1mmy, why not go out and see, even though its not exactly real, the conditions are somewhat similar in certain areas in the world, varying in similarity from place to place, but things like that are not as cruel since this manga makes it to where the majority of people don't have a shred of concious(spelt wrong I know) left.
On a note on the characters: Wouldn't you like to see Asada's past? Just imagine how many operations hes been in.

He'd have to have been in many operations though. Maybe twice the average number of operations a doctor has gone through when they retire.
