Naruto... Kekkai Genkai?

For those who have read the chapter 366 spoiler sticky. (Tiny spoiler below).

What are the odds of Naruto having a ke ke genkai of his own? Maybe it could be the same as Pein's ke ke genkai, but the kyuubi suppressed it somehow.

Would this kill, or imp. the storyline? Or is the idea too 'impossible'?

They couldn't be special ninjas...
1. The others in Konoha treated him like c*** before he got stronger. Even if they knew he had Kyuubi inside, they would still treat him differently if he had famous parents.
2. They wouldn't choose a son (probably only son) of those "special ninjas" to be branded for life, they would choose someone whose parents are unknown or poor (maybe he was Yondaimes son, but he didn't have a KG)

Even if narutos parents were famous he still would have been treated badly. Gaaras father was respected and famous in his village but look what happened to him.
And the 3rd did look out for naruto more than he did any other kid his age. He felt worried for him and talked to Iruka about him all the time.

Uh, XazaX, can I have some of what you're smokin? Cause it's apparently pretty damn good. Gaara wasn't a respected member of Sand until he decided not to be a murderer. He was considered a loose cannon most of his life, and was seen as a monster and had numerous assassination attempts on him. And his father was Kazekage, and apparently an *******. So yeah, Naruto and Gaara had VERY similar childhoods, except Gaara's was slightly more ****ed up.

Various forms of a Rasengan, the summoning (and that he can't even do consistantly) and Shadow Clone Jutsu oo okay so he may have learned something with the Hermit big deal he hasn't showed anything drastically differnent in any of the Akatsuki battles!!!

Anyway, if naruto had a kg wouldn't it have shown when kakashi gave him the elemental paper? i'm pretty sure gaara would turn the paper into sand or something, and yamamoto would grow leaves on it. So naruto should have done something similar with it.

It isn't good for him to waste chakra, but seriously, he has so much of it. Even without using Kyuubi's powers he has a lot. >.>

I don't think he has one. It should have been revealed by now if he did, and Naruto would undoubtedly discover this power if he had it. Kishimoto has already given him Kyuubi's powers, I think a bloodline limit would be rather overkill... o.o;

Anyway, it wouldnt make a whole lot of sense if naruto all of a sudden developed a kekkei genkai. Its never even been hinted at before. Maybe his changing people, as kakashi said, is his kekkei genkai (just a stupid theory please ignore it...).
Giving him a kg wouldnt be overkill... nothing is more overkill-ish than Sasuke...

Okay, first thing, many of you think Naruto needs KG because he is weak/stupid/repeats a lot. He is NOT! Examples: when he and Sasuke fought against Zabuza he disguised himself as a shuriken which missed so he can strike at him from behind. Against Gaara he used his bunshins to move around and rapidly change direction in mid-air, again striking the opponents weak spot. Against that akatsuki guy(forgot the name, sue me) he first charged at him with bunshins, while he meant to strike from behind, when that failed he charged at him again, but this time he used bunshins to attack him from behind,while he went straight on him knowing that his opponent would not think that he would risk his life to attack directly. That's SMART.
He is getting better (I said this so many times on this forum)!

As for diversity, there is not much help there... the logical move would be that he can throw ras.shuriken, but I expect to see him create a "suicide" bunshin who will execute the attack.

And as for teachers go... Why did Sakura get your "Royal treatment" (she was a student of Kakashi too, and is now a student of Tsunade)? No, they all are just lucky, and it helps that "History repeats itself" thing.


If everyone despised Gaara, how come he was sent on a such important mission?

@Shukaku: What dangerous mission did third sent Naruto on? They had to keep the bridge builder safe (d rank mission), the problem was he never mentioned Zabuza is after him (a rank), otherwise they would charge him a lot more and sent higher-class ninjas.

Well my original inspiration for this was Sasuke saying "He looks like Naruto." when Pein walked in. Then Pein said Sasuke's sharingan was no match for his bloodline limit. =/ So I began to think if Naruto and Pein were somehow related. And maybe the Kyuubi suppressed the blood line limit? Or even completely got rid of Naruto's ability to use it at a younger age.

Actually, even if one has a KG, he still needs to work hard in order to use it at full capacity, don't you think? I mean, any person with a special talent needs to work (and this is true even in a real life). Of course it will be a great help for Naruto to have a KG, but as absent minded as he is, he definitely needs to work hard. Besides I really agree with the fact that He doesn't have any special atack! Only Rasengan which can be performed by both Kakashi and Jirayia. Not quite fair...

Here's an idea, everyone seems to think Naruto's haling abilities come from the fox. But when he uses the fox's chakra it only damages him. Maybe, unlikely though, his healing abilities are his own? I'd personally love to see one of Naruto's parents in the series.

Naruto has an incredibly durable body, and an immense amount of Chakra. He doesn't need a Bloodline limit. His ability to learn jutsus in record time with Kagebunshin is better than a bloodline limit...and that is only possible because of his abnormally high chakra.

It's Kekkei Genkai and it literally means "blood inheritance limit" or an ability limited to blood inheritance. You can find it translated as "bloodline limit" or "advanced bloodline". It usually is a thing that is transmitted at the members of one clan. For example: Uchiha clan's Sharingan, or Hyuuga clan's Byakugan. Satisfied with the answer? ;)

Well i'll giv my view based on what iv read on this thread and its just my view.

First of all, regarding Naruto's parents we still dont know exactly who they were so we dont yet know if anything special has been passed down to him. But from what iv read in the manga many times is the mention of his crazy amounts of stamina and no mention of it having anything to do with the 9 tails. Wether this is a genetic trait or not we still dont know.

As for a bloodline limit we dont know that either due to the mystery of his perents. And if we assume the 4th was his father that still doesnt suggest he has a bloodline lime because there was never any mention of the 4th having one. But still if we presume the 4th never had a bloodline limit he was still one of the greatest ninja's of his time.

So you can still be pretty damn special without bloodline limits. And at the moment a lot of peeps including myself feel that Naruto is the son of the 4th so maybe he has taken on some of his genetic traits. The high stamina and large amount of his own chackra (i.e. double the amount of kakkashi) may be these traits.

Also as someone mentioned earlier Naruto is a lot more skill than it seems. I think his skill only shows during battle though, he's not the type who plans before hand but when he's in the thick of things he always seems to be working on a strategy to defeat his oponent and he does it quickly.

I think as far as his techniques go i was recently thinking he doesnt have a lot right now but maybe its the fact that we all seem to be thinking the story is reaching its climax. Its possible that the story has some way to go yet and Naruto has really only just come into his own. He is at the point where even Kakkashi hasnt go much left to teach him. And now thanks to the 9 Tails chakra he can create new techniques stupidly stupidly fast using 1000+ clones.

I think and hope Naruto will now start to create his new techniques and hopefully become someone unique like the 4th. Maybe we will now see him grow to be a formidable apponent against any ninja regardless of bloodline limit.

naruto doesn't suck... I don't know if you guys are reading the same manga as me, cause he seems to me to be one of the most powerful ninja's around.
He was taijutsu trained by jiraya himself, has infinite amount of chakra and has healing capabilities, is very fast (faster than kakashi), has complete chacra control and complete wind control, and can do a wind rasengan that is so far the most powerful jutsu shown in narutoverse except for a sealing technique that also kills the user.
On top of all that he can now freely access the 9 tails power up to 3rd tail.

And most of all, kage bunshin is hella powerful. I mean 1000 copies, that's more than sasori's puppets. It's more than the whole of konoha village ninja's probably.

Now if he only wasn't so damn weak against traps and genjutsu. And maybe have some longe range attacks, a weapon of some kind, and perfect his wind rasengan...

lol, it's probably jiraya's teaching techniques that don't work well on naruto. If you see how he taught him to do rasengan: naruto had to figure it out himself... If he didn't see that cat or meet tsunade he'd probably still be working on it...

So jiraya probably gave him an assignment to learn 'that jutsu' and it took a year or two before naruto found someone to figure it out for him. (i mean the guy's all heart and great fun, but he's not the brightest bulb in the chandeliere)

Allright im a new member here found the site lookin for some sort of topic about thiss... but after reading it this is what i think.... To whoever said there havent been any hints to naruto having a kekke genkai, i say theres been more than u think.
1. Since the beginning kakashi said naruto probably has twice the amount of chakra as him... Now as we all know kekke genkais (sharingan.. Kakashi cant keep it on for long because his body was not made for it..) usually require a lot of chakra so naruto's body is actually well adapted for this with large chakra reserves.
2. When ppl started telling naruto to stop relying on the 9tails and harness his own power they said somethin along the lines of "If u stop relying on the kyuubi's chakra your true power will come out." Honestly to me that right there is foreshadowing to some sort of special naruto related ability...

Having said all that we suddenly come upon pein and his uncanny resemblance to naruto... (i know many of u will say no way but take away tatoos and artists guessing what color eyes, skin and hair are they look almost identical)
pein himself might have a kekke genkai (eyes).
Now this is a short version but if they are somehow related im guessing Akatsuki will succeed taking his 9tails out and he will survive like gaara... But then fighting whatever happens because of the completion of the ritual he will be utterly defeated and find his new power cause he had no other hopes.

mmm if i remember correctly (especially with the sharingan) it's important for a sharingan user to have the "kekke genkai" blood not just the kekke genkai. Because kakashi wasnt an original uchiha or even sharingan user it tires him out very quickly because he doesnt have the chakra to withstand long periods with it. He says so himself in some manga chapter u'd have to look it up. As to the auburn hair where has Kishi shown Pein colored? i tried to find chapter covers with pein but i found none... so cause of that i think it was fanfic coloring.
last u say Pein is from the rain village but thats easily explained. I remember someone saying if his parents were famous they wouldnt treat him like ****... and yet nobody looked at the possibility of him being from another land... Rain (as im sure has been said before) is full of rogue ninja who could've easily moved or left him there during the war. in fact Pein might not even be from the rain village as we c kabuto wearing a leaf protector in part 1 when he was really a sound ninja. Even that helps my point his parents could've faked being konohah and left him in the town as an orphan... as to a connection to pein i wont say he could be brother father uncle etc...

well kabuto was hiding his identity....there would be no need for pein to do that.....and the part about kakashi....it uses more chakra becuase he isnt an uchiha...it takes more chakra since it was surgically connected
