A heartwarming, with sheer joke bread artisan story with a huge dream..., to make the ultimate unique japanese bread (ja-pan).

I don't see any in the table on contents with this title yet, such a shame not to have a thread for it, so I'll once again take the honor to create the topic for it.

As everyone might know, the series have ended back a while ago at the 25th volume, and the scanlation is also coming up and hosted at the main website, so it wouldn't hurt to have nice discussion about this series.

it is an interesting manga! i use to scoff at this manga lastime. my bad.. but as i read through the manga, i found that, this manga is not about bread only. its about knowledge. n some simple things that if u manipulate or use it the right way n place, will produce something great! try Yakitake! Japan =)

It was very very funny, but lately the jokes have gotten a little stale, as with the plot. I think that the mangaka needs to wrap this up or bring a close to the current arc.

yeah. n the fact that he was so confident about his bread. but i pity him too. he is a great guy.

And its funny that Kuroyan shouted in his face:p..and speaking about Kuroyan, i wonder what is he going to do after this whole Tv25 thing finish. i mean he must have a stable job. i cant see where he'll end up after this:lol: ahhh, he shud consider acting. he's so gud at it haha:p:p

Nah, he should stay a food judge/culinary expert, his critism never go wrong & would be highly valued for tourism (as this whole Yakitate! 25 is also to promote Japan food :D ).

yeap. this manga tells a lot about Japan; the culture, food, and the history. Its funny imagining Kuroyan acting in a film or drama like he always do when he reacted to a food. But yeah,i oso think that he will remain as a judge or something like that:D cos that is his dream and life!:D

This manga is quite funny:-)

But there is a false translation in chapter 150. It should be Austria instead of Australia. Because Austria is well known for his Sacherltorte:thumbup: that really confused me:-)

Some of his breadrecipe are really detailed explained. So I think you can try to bake some "Japan". Or is it better not to?

I think that's a typo.

I think it's better not to try.

Because, if it doesn't work, you'll be really sad.

Just did a search... the manga is complete just not fully scanlated...26 volumes...Anyone know if there are any MAJOR differences that if I dont read from the beginning of the manga would DESTROY ME if I start where the anime left off?
Btw where did the anime left off if anyone knows xD.

WoW! Its completed already...great!:D

It will be much better if you read it from the start. This manga is so worth reading. U wont regret it. But if u decided to read till where the anime left off, it wont hurt that much too. It depends on you lah. hehe:D

Yes, the manga in Japan already complete at volume 25 (or is it 26?), the scans's still catching up.

The anime went into terrible fillers (like majority of manga adapted anime) after Monaco Cup arc, so If you have only watched the anime, start all over from the beginning of Yakitate! 25 arc, or the final of Monaco Cup arc to refresh your memory If you prefer.

Nah..I probably will start from the beginning just incase I miss any minor details(not like I will remember). But I just have other mangas I just picked up..so yea a few things come before starting this.
