Hajime no Ippo

This thread is dedicated to Hajime no Ippo!

'Magunochi Ippo is an ordinary high school student in Japan. Since he spends most of his time away from school helping his mother run the family business, he doesn't get to enjoy his younger years like most teenagers. Always a target for bullying at school (the family fishing business grants him a distinct odor), Ippo's life is one of hardship. One of these after-school bullying sessions turns Ippo's life around for the better, as he is saved by a boxer named Takamura. He decides to follow in Takamura's footsteps and train to become a boxer, giving his life direction and purpose. Ippo's path to perfecting his pugilistic prowess is just beginning.'

So after the latest chapter, what do you think will happen? personally I think he's going to pull of some miracle punch that knocks Gedo of off is feet practically deciding the match in his favor. That's what I hope/think, what about you guys?

Ippo will pull of a Jesus Date move. Except without a corkscrewblow, just a monsterstrength punch to the heart

As the Body and his Head are guarded and the title of the Chapter is Heartbreak he is definately going to use somekind of Heartbreakshot
and i guess it ends after 2 more Chapters or so.
Then Ippo has won after a Comeback again, hence they should call him the Comeback-K.O Kid or sth. like that xD.

Do you guys think there will be ever a Fight betwenn Miyata and Ippo as long as the manga goes on? I could only imagine a fight ( pro-fight)
at the very end of the Manga like a World Championship challenge or sth like that.

Well, the comebacks I think are because he always fights these special guys. He's never fought a regular fighter xD

Maybe Miyata vs Ippo = WBA vs WBC

You don't seriously expect Ippo to throw a punch to the heart with his left? In case you didn't notice, Ippo's in the middle of throwing a left hook. And a shot to the heart requires a straight right just like Date did.

And I doubt it's going to end in the next two chapters.

Not really no, I don't expect him to finish Gedo off at the beginning of the next chapter, but he doesn't really has another target. So when the last scenario repeats a few times he will see it. I don't really know what kamogawa means with magic punch other than Heartbreakshot

I like hajime no ippo like the anime and manga alos the movie
And also about the last part of the manga intense connection I don't think ippo will do the same punch of tate:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

The next chapters will come out after September 11th because the translator has exams at that date. then there will probably be 3-4 chapters at once since Round 783 and 784 as RAWS are already out
