eva just went easy on negi-bozu. technically she was still within the boundaries of the school so she might not be at full power. the boundary might have just be weakened. and didnt the curse reactivate before negi's final attack?

Well, excluing the fact that he is necessary for making pactio without having to pay cash, he is useless in every other way. He hardly have any critical roles, almost always appears as a backup character.

we can only hope that it will continue about yue this time...but i have my doubts about that occuring

with mana's arrival, the consensus on other forums (and this one?) was that next chapter would be about ttt and mana. but no, that was not the case.

then next, we saw makie and yuuna, and although the rest of the chapter was about tourney, we thought we'd see more of them in the next couple chapters. again, <B>no.</B>

moving on to our next example, we saw a bombshell of a cliffhanger with asuna, secchan, and tsukuyomi, and we thought that we'd see more of them. need i say it? <B>that did not happen.</B>

before we go into whether we see yue again in 203 or really soon... 2 things i ask about ur explanation.

1) dont say that # of pages matter when it comes to why we will/will not see them next chapter. because while makie/yuuna and asuna/secchan both saw about half a chapter's worth of pages, mana and ttt got one page. just cuz we see yue less than makie, yuuna, asuna, and secchan doesnt mean she will be seen for sure.

2) none of this "o, but its a big thing that she's got amnesia". all the other cases were just as big. makie and yuuna finding work and finding a way to get to ostia? asuna and secchan about to get ambushed by tsukuyomi? unexpected arrival of ttt and mana? dont give me this "amnesia = will see in 203" crap that i see on other forums.

yea... something tells me to be utterly pessimistic and cynical about seeing yue in 203. as nice as that would be, considering it would break a very frustrating trend.

Originally, chapter 108 featured a dark story where Eva's illusion forced Setsuna to see her own painful past, and also subjected her to cruel verbal abuses. A drawing of a young Setsuna pulling out her own white feathers while crying under a waterfall at night was even created. Because the story was just too dark, it was scuttled. The "Phantasmagoria" that Kamo referred to for the illusion dimension was all that remains of this original plan

Akamatsu mentioned that Setsuna's mother would be the human and father the birdman, reason being "Her mother would be a beautiful woman, and then a horrible demon came and... something like that I guess? I don't want to think about the reverse. (laugh)"



arusegawa Mei

An original character that appeared in the TV anime version of Akamatsu Ken's original manga "Love Hina". In episode 21~25, Winter SP, Spring SP, as well as OVA volume 2, she appeared as the stepsister of the heroine, Narusegawa Naru.

After the anime ended, her setting was reversely introduced into the original manga, and appeared in one panel in the final chapter.

As for her relationship with Naru in the manga, this is the general setting:
When Naru's birth parents seperated (divorced?), Naru was raised by her mother for a period of time. When Naru's mother passed away, Naru was taken in by her father, and Mei was the brought-in child of Naru's father's new wife.

As for Mei's appearance as Sakura Mei in Negima, her character setting is as a second grade student of Mahora Gakuen Middle School, who has been studying abroad at an American magic school. Whether she is the same character as the Mei in Love Hina is still unclear (at the very least, their personality is different).

(By the way, In Love Hina manga, Keitaro and Naru's wedding where Mei appeared in was set on April 3rd, 2005, while Negima takes place in 2003, which means it's still possible for them to be the same character. The fact is, there's barely any official settings on the character Narusegawa Mei, so it's difficult to determine the connection)

When did this become Love Hina disscussion?

I don't think Mei of negima and Mei of Love Hina is the smae person. I have two reasons: 1. in Negima, her name is Sakura Mei not Narusegawa Mei. 2. Takane said that she graduated from a mage school in America (and considered to have talent too). It just doesn't fit together of how can she be adopted by the Narusegawa family if she's still in America. So I'm saying that they're a different person, but Ken just reuse her character design.

All the pactio of the 3-A class, except for the 8 Negi's partners, are all just non-existed pactios created in the anime which is not as cool as the ones in the manga, I say. The second season almost change the entire concept of pactios abilities.

Still, nothing makes sense. There's no critical proof. I don't think that we'll find out soon anyway. Who know maybe it'll take another couple of years for proof, or it'll never appear at all. The decision is all down to Akamatsu Ken.

Talking about this reminds me of the Shinmei-ryu, another reuse idea or a real connection with Love Hina's Shinmei-ryu. The type of clothes are the same, the type of sword is also the same, even more so the name of the moves are the same! And still, nothing make sense.

well back to makie's pactio card. remember chamo's depth chart of negi's team. where do you think she will be placed? i think it will be towards the center. since her card is all range type. the ball and pins are long ranged, ribbon is short to medium range, and the hoop can be medium to short also.

if i understand your fractured sentence. the center is a good place for her since makie isn't all that experience in fighting and she can attack from almost any range. also the martial artist can be moved to forward defenses. her weapons are obviously used for offensive purposes but it can be used in defense too.

Well, Yue is deffinately safe for now. Under the care of Collete. But the thing is that she lost her memory, probably due to some kind of impact on her head (as seen as her having bandages around her forhead). So it's going a bit more difficult for her to get back together with the group. Hope that Kazumi and Chachamaru find her quickly, she's probably the person that need the most help, due to her current status.

as for fate I don't think his the other guy in crimson wings and all but an enemy or an
acquaintance of the crimson wings. well the chances of it happening is not impossible at all but the reaction or rakan mesmerizing in the past doesn't feel like his a member
of the crimson wings at all..... And I will stick with my stand that he knows asuna
and in this saga some of asuna or asuna's past will be revealed and only a clue
for nagi....

And about the next chapter I wish ken will just skip the stupid training and focus

I think the training will pop up at some point, but I also hope that Ken would keep it short since because I'm really concerned about Yue's current status, havinf amnesia and all just make it very interesting. this series is great ^^ its some lighthearted comedy ive been looking for.

just a thought: what if the author wanted yue to gain amsnesia to eliminate the her in negi's love triangles so that it'll be less complicated. meaning, she'll forget that she liked him in the 1st place so that the other girls would have a better chance at getting negi...or so maybe for some odd reason the amnesia might strengthen her relationship with negi.

Yue will probably get her memory back...maybe Nodoka will use her Pactio to help her get her memories back (that's just my thought)

Nodoka's pactio ability can't get people's memories back. But their close friendship might get Yue to remember (probably their rivalry in love might help too :D). And I deffinately don't want any of the charcater to die now, the entire story will be depressing if even one does.
