The chapter starts out with Negi remembering his fight.

Kagetarou recognizes BSG as Thousand blades Lacan of the Crimson Wing group.
Kagetarou is surprised because only Eishun and Takamichi's whereabout are known.

Lacan: Crimson Wing? What's that? So what if I have that guy's face?

I think Kagetarou says something about it not being any of Lacan's business to interfere then.

Lacan proceeds to advertise his renowned, invincible, multi-use super weapon which he provides a free demonstration for today.

Kagetarou: I won't be defeated by that!
Lacan: Stop it already. If I was serious, you would be poppy seeds now. I'm strong enough as it is unarmed. (lol)

Lacan tells Kagetarou if he insists on having his revenge, then Kagetarou and Negi will meet in a formal match (possibly a coliseum match).
Lacan also mentions that Negi is his pupil, and sees through the age-deceiving pill.
Lacan offers the chance the train Negi after he heals. Negi promptly faints afterwards.

Pineapple attack. End flashback.
Chisame and Chachamaru both give Negi his licks in place of Asuna who would usually do it.

Kotarou runs in with big news that a letter from Setsuna has arrived.

The two of us are ok.
Investigating KK.
(can't figure out rest because of the stupid blob of katakana)

Commence nude scene of Setsuna as she thinks about Negi and Konoka.
Asuna begins ambush attack. She makes 3 consecutive attacks only to be flicked away by Setsuna's wings.

Setsuna compliments Asuna on her attacks, but Asuna is still not confident. Asuna has improved a great deal over the last week.

Setsuna: I said that you could attack at any time, but while showering is a little...

Asuna being ADD, proceeds to strip, join in , and offer a wing cleaning.
Asuna seems to have washed Setsuna's back often back at the dorm, but Setsuna is uncomfortable with Asuna washing her wings.

Asuna: Why? Do you think I like messing with your wings?

Asuna is commented on being bright and cheery today, probably because she saw Negi on TV and knows he's ok. Of course Asuna denies it.

Setsuna: When I met up with you, you seemed pretty down.
Asuna: What about you? Regarding Konoka, you looked like your world was coming to an end.
Commence Konoka deprivation.
Asuna tries to calm her down.

Asuna: Konoka's probably ok. She's probably doing better off than us. She's pretty clever. Unless she runs into an enemy...
Commence 2nd panic plus fan tsukkomi.

Asuna reminds Setsuna of her promise to stop worrying about Konoka's whereabouts. Everyone will meet up in a month, so for now Asuna plays this situation off as an adventure. Also, so that Negi doesn't get pwned again, she's has to get stronger. During this time, Setsuna thinks about Asuna's impossibly rate improvement rate. Setsuna is interrupted by some noise which she disregards.

What do you expect? Most of the threads of Negima are all arguing about nonsense and little discussion of the thread. Mostly because Negima is pretty logical that an 8 year old can figure out and make well rounded predictions. Also nothing really happens much which is boring. I'm getting bored already of the story line as well.

Hey, no surprise there. I like Konoka too as well as Nodoka. Fine by me if either of them ends up with Negi. But I don't like Asuna, something about her just doesn't fit my liking, something about . . . umm . . . judging things about Negi only on her own accord when sometime she doesn't understand a thing or something like that.

I'm not gonna be bored with this serie around too! I love it and I just want to continue following it untill it end (still a long way to go I think). But I didn't like A.I. Love You of Ken.

The new chapter should be scan by AQS by . . . Monday? or Tuesday? or some other random day?

anya should be 1/2 to 3/4 years older since negi trained in the resort & time traveled in the festival arc. should turn 11 soon but that will happen after tournament finals. maybe when they get back to wales.

3 is definately the year and the 'A' should stand for class, seem to be the way that Japanese school works I guess. Just as Xingese said, this serie really is a shota but there is no point in complaining about it now since the story has gone this far.

Btw, if you have not notice then I will say it. Actually I think that Ken Akamatsu got the idea of Chao Lingshen from Mei Mei in Nagasarete Airanto. I reason I said this is because I found out that Nagasarete Airanto was created in January 2002, approximately one year and one month before Mahou Sensei Negima. So I think it's the vice versa. Age doesn't matter in love. If you really love someone and they also love you back it doesn't matter, but there would be some restrictions though. I mean you can't marry a 15 year old girl when you are 40 or something. Wait till she is 18 or something then do what you want. With that said, this is a shounen manga, the possibility of love blooming at age 10 is little.

well, a five year difference itself isn't bad. my parents are 7 years apart and my grandparents 8 years. but consider that they're a lot older than a 10 or 15 year old... it's that at that young age, the 5 year difference is quite considerable. analagous to a 80 year old guy interested to a 30 year old woman (not quite as extreme, but probably evokes the same uneasiness)

as i explained later in my post, once they grow up, i think the romances would be less... is the term shouta? yea. less shouta and perverted and i guess more appropriate?

as for translation release, currently its about a week after the raw is released. and raws come out on wednsday for me. sometimes during tuesday midnight too.

Actually I've heard that there're several ways of completing a pactio. Including kissing, which is the easiest way, I think there're something like blood exchange or something like that as I had heard as a rumour. So Alberio (Colonel Sanders is what he like to be called, but I think that name is so lame, as well as the reason for having that name only because he like KFC when he first ate it, so I'll call him by his original name) might have used something like that or other ways.

-- Kazumi has a pactio card, no, I don't think they show the process, (like Haruna) and Negi pays a pactio salesman for it? this allows Kazumi to have up to 6 remote control long distance camera.
-- Negi and Kotaro has to pay additional 50,000 DM from their prize money for Chacha and friends on an around the (magic) world in 7 days trip, so they can have their reunion with Negima tour, (on a whale ship?) a much more details magic world map with different local names are presented.

kazumi got a way better deal than the others since she was kissing 15 year old negi. then again she had to wait a long time to get a pactio even though she knew for a while now. the others might get jealous. i dont think the library trio know what negi looks like with the pills yet right? only chamo and those currently with negi knows right?

About the age deceiving pill she takes it when entering the movie but shes been a fool because it cost more then kaede shows up saying she just used a body changing ninjutsu to change her appearance without a peny cost.Then they start to quarrel again.

lol xingese, feel free to post even if you dont understand the conversation. I do not think Chachamaru has a pactio with Evangeline. Chachazero does however. Chachamaru came after Eva was stuck in the school with little magical abilities. We arent even sure if Mages can do more than 1 permanent pactio. For safety, i think chachazero and eva have a pactio only.

Yep I LOVE Negima. So much that I use the volumes as my pillow. I even have a Negima plate which I eat my dinner with. I use my Negi glass which I drink water/other liquidous materials with. It is really amazing. I love Negima. //sarcasm.

actually, negima has quite a bit of recognition. besides, it has a better story and better characters than love hina. Love hina is way too drawn out and you know the end after the first chapter anyway. The fact is, he spends volumes of Keitarou trying to find his first love, when its obviously Naru and even the reader and he should know. Plus, i read love hina after i read negima.

well, i suppose he could be in suspended animation...but he wouldnt be concious then. I would think projections need your concious knowledge while suspended animation also pauses your thoughts (might be the wrong use of the term 'pause').

I also read negima first before reading love hina but I watch love hina first that reading or watching negima.
