yeah they should be married. and the author should end it with a nice epilogue. IMO I dont thnk i will continue reading it if the manga still continue with them raising a child. most of the excitement i felt reading suzuka's earlier volumes is almost gone and only the want/need to see how it ends is the only thing thats keeping me to read the manga.

It's sad, but yes, It'd be a waste to just stopped halfway after reading this far, but the manga has reached a serious problem to boot, not just serious misunderstanding anymore, but serious lifetime problem too.

Hopefully its not badly end after they decided to keep the baby and all, but would be nice to see how they solve potential threats after decided to do so..., especially family's issue.

I doubt that would happen, as the story seems to follow more along the lines of how to handle a situation like this as opposed to we have a child this is what you need to do. (Although if it does go into the 'how to raise a child' mode, I'm going to stop reading it)

Chap: 160
Suzuka was on the way to meet Yamato's parents at Ayano san residence. Yamato face swollen more after been slapped by his father. Suzuka went it. Yamato's dad apologized and Yamato's mum forced Yamato to apologize as well. Ayano san asked Miho to leave for a moment. They all have a conversation Suzuka then told them that Yamato and her had decided. She said that there might be many difficulties ahead. She pleaded that they let her keep the baby. Ayano san then suggested that they should tell Suzuka parents. Yamato asked Suzuka if her father will be available that day. Yamato and Suzuka went to visit her family saw Miho outside. Short conversation and we see Miho giving them her blessing. They reached Suzuka's house and Yamato was nervous.

chap 161:
Eventhough Mr. Asahina knew how determined her daugther is, he still want Yamato and her to separate. He told Yamato that they would raise the child and he left. Yamato wanted to try talking about the matter, chased after Mr. Asahina. He went into the study room and Mr. Asahina handed him a photo of Suzuka. Suzuka was smiling cheerfully in the photo. Mr. Asahina told him about the difficulty in his company. He remarked that his wife and Suzuka were the reason that he lived, he was willing to bear any burden for their sake and that's is what parents meant.

He also mentioned that Yamato's parent would thought of the same thing. He continued that just now Yamato easily decided of not going to university. Mr Asahina added that Yamato's parents have been working so hard to raise him and had high expectation of him. He then asked Yamato if he had thought of them. Mr Asahina told him that children had no obligation to repay their parents but for someone who didnt understand these had no right to be a parent. Yamato admitted that he had said something irresponsible. He said that he would apologize to his parents when he got back.

Back home, Yamato's father asked him how's it. He then told Yamato that he had decided not to give him any allowance. Yamato replied that he understood and said that he would work hard.

You can go watch "Tsuyokiss CoolxSweet" or "School Rumble" (more humor-type but also romance parts later on) but you definitely won't find anything that can beat Suzuka.

I've just finished Ichigo 100% and it's an awesome story(it's a good read)! But I'd recommend Koukou Debut. I've read up to chapter 29(each chapter has about 42+ pages) :thumbup: And I must say I'm extremely excited about this story, it's getting sooo verrry interesting :D

This manga has suddenly shifted gears quite a bit.

The story is getting really strange... I really have no idea where the manga will go from here but it feels like the drama is diminishing every chapter. Are they really going to do the whole nine months of pregnancy? It's certainly a different take on the relationship manga (esp. for a shonen series) but I can't say that it's definitely more interesting.

Nine months worth of preganancy will take up alot of volumes of Suzuka. They can have a chapter each on anything ranging from buying diapers to doctor check ups to child birth.

It might even stretch to a couple of volumes!

That's a matter of taste actually. Suzuka is (and everything that's following now is pure opinion) more romance and less ecchi then Ichigo100%. Also, it's not as harem-like as Ichigo. Suzuka is all about (and the name kinda gives it away) Suzuka. There are other girls but most of them (all but one) are playing more the role of "advisors along the way".
Personally, I prefer Suzuka bacause it's more realistic than a typical "multiple girls suddenly fall in love for the same, usually not so popular guy"-scenario.

Basically, if you're looking for multiple character development, Ichigo is the way to go, whereas Suzuka focuses on only 2 people..Although, Suzuka is declining now as it's close to the ending, although Ichigo 100% really never declined as much when it was close to the ending =\ Suzuka is more of a straight forward path in romance, whereas Ichigo was more of a curved..If that makes sense ><

I liked how the manga started. High school setting with a female protagonist who's "into" sports. Suzuka's determination to improve marvelled me and I kept reading to know what spured her. Well, its not too bad now too. Im just hoping that the mangaka will wrap up this series nicely =)

So this manga finally ends..
The last chapter was a very happy and joyful one, it was also sweet, but in its own way, not like the way the reminiscent chapter was. This manga was a good one, and I hope the mangaka does something like this again

it was disappointing i could call out all the pages in this chapter since 10 chapters away
nothing new basically they made this manga die probably out of ideas then they closed it
although it was really good in the beginning but o well hopefully something better gonna come by

Most endings for these types of mangas are predictable, they're usually very happy and usually end up with the 2 protagonists marrying, so that was just to be expected. Still a great manga though, and as far as these endings go, I liked this one.

I feel that those slaps and horrible times SUzuka gave him was good for his character building. Yamato sometimes deserve a slap for acting rashly. However Im not a complete Suzuka fan as I feel that Yamato was mis-treated at times by Suzuka.

Yes I have completed reading it. Got to 166 and felt that the ending was the best given the way how the manga had progressed. Im sure many readers have grown and matured too while reading Suzuka as we have followed it for years. Sweet manga that is slow to mirroring real life.

In my opinion, Suzuka stands unique in her own genre as I think its hard to even classify this manga in the first place. I heard that Lova Hina starts off abit similar like Suzuka where the male leads move into some place that is overly populated by girls but its different after that. I tried Love Hina and I dropped it but maybe you can try reading it and judge it for yourself :)

yeah i agree with hynavian suzuka was a good read(it would have been great if the middle part story wasn't dragged too long) just keep reading it, bec it's worth it.

it's hard to realized that a manga that you are reading for more than a year and waiting for it's weekly update have come to an end. it's a bit ironic that for a few times that i felt that the manga needs to end already bec it was dragged too long already. but when it was announced that it would in a few chapters i didn't want it to end. others don't like the ending but for me it was handled very well.

what do you think if the manga is still ongoing would suzuka continue her career in high jump or would she be a full time house wife?
