The guy with the sword blade thing that you're talking about is General Sokaro... he really looks sadistic and appears to delight in slaughtering the akumas or in the violence that occurs with it... is it just me or did those huge akuma (the gigantic akumas that Allen and the others fought in Tokyo) things suddenly appear? ... they weren't shown before when the lvl 3 akumas were shown right?

About general cloud she did say that her innocence was a parasitic type right? a living parasitic type. But a parasitic type are the type of innocence that resides with the body of the exorcist right? like allen when not in crown clown blade form the edge form is combine to his body and also suman but cloud's innocence isn't attach to her...

and also another thing I just remember this but if you try to reread the part where cross marian appear in the kyoto battle their is a flash back and he is wearing a mask similar to the akuma that has mask.. The scientist that had been turn into mask akuma. When back then marian was wearing a mask then the mask just withdraw or something to his eye.

I doubt we've seen everything Cloud Nine has to offer. We didn't even really get to see her Parasite Innocence fight. And I have a feeling theirs more to her whip than meets the eye.

Those people are insane though, I mean, they are killing lvl 3 akuma that took linalee 5 chapters to defeat in just a blink of an eye, and there are those other big akuma guys that are like a bunch of lvl 3 akuma joined together or something.

The generals are way above the other exorcists. They are on a different level.

Cross is an odd one for that skull mask thing he has, and the other guy with the same skull mask think that get killed. I would believe that they have the same powers. Cloud Nine and Cross both probably have two weapons.

Cloud Nine's monkey and her are parasitic. The monkey is attached to her like a third arm.

Sokaro likes blood and gore, and defeating akumas (He's just plain scary).

Theadore's weapon, which I don't understand is like a pen thingy??? Someone tell me what it is and what it does.

Well, in the Anime it looks like his pen thing starts glowing, the entire area is covered in light and... all Akumas are dead. :lol:

But compared to those 4, General Yeegar was pretty weak. X.x

About general theodore's innocence I'm not sure but it looks like its 2
the 1st one looks like a sword that he uses to stab the ground to create huge light
the 2nd one looks a shield
then in the battle in kyoto I think he uses a doll of something in maximum sync

well Gen Yeegar had to deal with Tyki and the noahs are much more stronger than the lvl 3s... and if you're gonna point out the allen and the others were able to defeat the noahs despite not being generals, from what it appeared to be Gen Yeegar's innocence use was mostly physical i think and Tyki's ability would prove quite advantageous against that since he can phase through solid objects...

i think Gen theodore's innocence use is like a paintbrush where he paints what weapon/shield he wants to use... so probably it's not only two types of techniques he can use with that...

Yeah, me too, I was thinking that Theodore has a drawning innocence, when he draws something, it appears (a well-suited innocence for him...) All the innocence suits the generals it seems, Maria for hiding Cross, the giant sword for the barbaric one and the monkey...hmuh

XD The akumas seem to be a piece of cake to the generals, i thought Allen is also qualified to be a general? maybe he's not tat good yet.. I think because Allen was thought of as a traitor(helper, whatever), they didn't promote him to general. I mean, would you want someone suspicious being a leader of your already small army of people? I don't think they can split the groups any more than they already have x_x

Allen has the opportunity to become a general. He reach critical point and its said their that the birth of the next general or something... Its not clearly said that if you reach that point you will become instantly a general.. But he will become a general. Maybe in the future.

i'm wondering about how the generals seem to have an interesting past with each other... seeing how they talk to each other... i hope the manga could take some time to dwell on this... make the story much more interesting =P though i can't say the same for you people because i just like side stories that tell the past of the characters ^^...

I don't know.... It will be good if the past story is revealed it will help solve the problem.
But I don't want it to be seen in the middle of a fight..
Like this part of the arc when they are having cool fighting massive akuma killing.
Then a scene will be shown showing the past and all its just ruin my mood while
reading. Cutting the best part just for the past unless its really necessary in
the fight to understand both sides but if its not. I don't like it.

i didn't mean during the fight though... i don't think it would fit the flow of the story... probably Allen or somebody else could ask about the generals when the excitement has died down after some fights... then the story could switch to that scenario for a while then revert back to the main plot... though it would become a filler =P...

Heh, I doubt Allen or anyone else would be to willing to ask the generals about their past. Seeing that two are Psychos and the other two don't strike me as the type of people who will just tell everything about themselves right off the bat. But we could always find out their past through our wonderful Katsura Hoshino! :) In a totally random chapter just shoved in there ^^(like a bonus).

If we did find out about the generals I think it'd be real confined, I mean, the only general that we will probably get an indepth look at of course is Cross, sine he's so related to the main story.

The other generals are cool and mysterious in their own ways, like breeze said, psychos XD
but I don't think they're important enough to get entire background stories, if anything I think maybe their relationship with Cross is as far as we'd get to see

I like the characteristics of the generals and the connection with Cross. The fight scene, I agree doesn't seem to jive with the story flow. Cross kinda showed an unpredictable turn for his character in the current arc, so good stuff on the current chapter. More please!

i don't think allen's useless though... remember his fight against tyki... he wasn't supposed to be able to cut tyki because of his power but with his sword he was able to cut the noah part... so i'm guessing he'll be able to do the same with Lulubell...

Some of the anime fillers are pretty good, but you can always just skip the fillers and cont. w/ episode 52 (thats when it comes back, I think). or at least the stuff that have to do w/ the fallen one. I really liked the millenium warrior (and of course episode 18, hahaha)

btw, the stuff that covers volume 9, I think thats the part where they are on episode 65 (or is it thelast few chapters of volume 8)? because 75 is called Message, and I think that part is w/ that modified akuma, don't know what lost release means though, hmmmm). The Suman part is part of the manga, right?

The thing that sucks about the anime is that the plot line is mixed up and the characters know things that they don't in the manga, like Lenalee knowing that Allen turned Mana into an Akuma and the part where allen shares about his friend in the past. It makes me mad but other then that it not to bad ^^;

I think it's pretty obvious that Allen has the Heart. Lenalee was a candidate too but since it was explained that her innocence just transforms into a parasite-type, only Allen is left.
Also, this is a Shounen Manga. As the main character, Allen has to get uber-strong with the powers of the Heart and the 14th Noah to beat the Millenium Earl and voilá, we have our happy end.

Considering that Allen's Innocence can activate on its own accord, very resistant to destruction, regenerate, and evolved to a point where it resembled a weapon wielded by the Millennium Earl, the suspicions of people are not entirely unfounded.

Yes Allens Anti Akuma weapon just seems so very different from other Parasite Types, Considering it followed him around even after it and A good porition of Allens Heart were Destroyed by Tyki, Not only did it stay with him in a mist state but it also Regenerated Allens heart.

Also when it Destroyed Mana against Allens will, and as Franckie said it evolves into a polar oppsite of The Earls Sword, not only in appearance but abilities.

Allen's innocence being the heart is really a strong theory... with all the strange circumstances around it... but there is also Lenalee's innocence acting on its own... though i sway more towards allen since i feel its lodging in the hole of allen's "heart" is a hint of some sort....

i don't think Allen heard the laughing at once though... just because his eye acted up caused him to notice something was up... i have a bad feeling about what happened to johnny, what if the akuma has a special power of some sort that could use johnny as a shield against the others... something like absorbing him and displaying johnny's memories words and actions... makes me think of Aaroniero and Rukia from Bleach...

oh and i was wondering..the noahs were the most powerful and allen and company pretty must defeated them so following the flow of things since there is a new enemy (kind of..), a level four akuma, does that mean the level four is stronger than the noah? now in my opinion that just isnt right..of course i guess since tyki mik kind of evolved too it might end up leveling out but still..in general i dont want an akuma of any level equaling the noah..idk..i guess im just weird like that..

To clear it up, Reever and Bak are on the floor in the lake of blood,you see them in the two slides before that guy says Allen's name. Whether they are alive or not, who knows(hope not though T__T ,I love those two).
For some odd reason the lvl 4 akuma thing doesn't really.. hit me as hard as it should. After seeing the generals destroy all those monster type akuma with such ease,I feel like that thing is just in there for a beating.
Though, Allen might 'evolve' too,just like on his first mission with Kanda when the innocence got stolen and Allen's innocence evolved from his anger. It could happen again, since most of the science department just get massacred...... I'm actually kinda hoping for that...hehe

Hey I have been wondering since I can't tell what the hell is going on in D grey man anymore can allen still use his sword and gun variations of his innocence. I think he can still use all his previous transformations, but since the swrd is the most powerfull, he uses it more (but since some chapters, the actin during the fights is hard to read)
And in japanese, 4 is says the same ay as death (which is why this nuber is a lot of time mix with death, so there it would make sense if it is the last level, a pure weapon of death)

For the second time, each Akuma's evolution is different to anothers, so only one level four will ever look like this.

Allen could take on a Noah pretty decently. Of course, Allen was overpowered by the pure Noah form. Even so, I find it hard to believe that a level 4 Akuma is that strong ==.

I had such an awesome dream tonight, about a D.Gray-Man videogame and I was playing it. I was playing as Arystar Krory and he kinda moves like in those Prince of Persia games (fits him perfectly ^^) but his fighting style was more like Wolf-Link from Twilight Princess. It was so awesome, I wish that was real.

It wasn't the first time I dreamed about a videogame but this was the first time it felt so real and original (I spared you the details of that dream but it was great >.<), usually I dream about existing games or cheap rip-offs...

Thats not likely of happening since Allen is the main character. The series would end without him, and it's not going to happen too soon since the Earl must be destroyed or something. Generals are probably not dead anyways, mangakas just to the to get the readers to want to know what happens next.

The generals cannot be dead like this (though I wonder about Theodore, if the Akuma hadn't hit the ground, Theodore was dead meat. Maybe we'll have some come back of Lenalee, or Kanda...I don't know
