The Abhorrence of Rauculus : Sign Ups

The sword of Rauculus is a legendary sword of many powers. Each part of it has a diferent power, and together they are the ultimate weapon.

The sword was seperated by a powerful wizard who believed that all that power was too much for one person to control. So he seperated them and entrusted each of them to diferent masters. The whereabouts of the wizard are unknown and he is the only one to join it again. Each part of the sword fell off to different places and each of them evolved into a separate sword with great might and power. The current holders of the sword are unknown.

Vanthom a dragon lord has been resurrected after 1000 years of exile and he doesnt live in the real world. Thats what has been known about him to all. His evil aura and vigour are unmatched to anyone on the planet. Vanthom created dragon raiders who dwell in the real world, capturing every place, every trace of mankind, every trace of any lifeform, existing or on the verge of existence. The world is in chaos and disorder. The doom of the planet is near and soon Vanthom will take over humanity. The monk sanctuary is tarnished and destroyed and the last few of the remaining monks figured that the only way to demolish the might of Vathom is the sword of Rauculus. But it can only be wielded if all the seven parts combine together binded with high energy. The Tranzandri comet is making its appearance once again, after 1000 years, only to disappear for another 1000 years. Thats the only day the sword of Rauculus can be brandished. Time is less and the scattered parts ae still undiscovered. Its been predicted that those swords are possessed by some soldiers from the human world who are fighting for their survival still ignorant of the power they behold. The monks are making their move to find them and save the world from the brink of destruction.

The Heaven's Fall (Taken)
This sword is an elemental sword of water. When using the sword, the handle has holes like a wind-pipe instrument that responds to the control of the handle. This gives its user the ability to change the direction of the sword from one end to the next on battle. Because this sword responds to water, this sword is most deadly when wet. Energy can be focused into the sword and then use the water droplets as weapons and even projectiles. It's full potential isn't fully realized yet.

The Dragon (Taken)
It's considered the strongest weapon amongst the seven. Its construction is unique because it has a special steel ball inside that reacts while in combat. While moving the sword the ball inside the hilt chamber makes vibrations and sounds that can confuse the enemy's ears and strike fear in other warriors hearing its distinct whistle. Should the swords successfully strike at each other, both swords will be magnetically locked down to each other as a way to neutralize each others power.

The Deity (Taken)
This sword was one of the first swords created . The sword itself is thick and heavy for strength and power. The sword never saw combat, only used to help mine the caves. The raw energy that the sword emits chi waves that can destroy light objects at a distance. When properly wielded , the sword can emit devastating energy that can destroy waves of soldiers. The Deity is often paired up with The Celestial Beam in combat.

The Unlearnt (Taken)
The sword itself doesn't have any real special abilities; however, it's also the weapon that has the least blood on it. It was once used to kill many people but is silent since then. The user can use his chi to channel energy into the sword like the rest of the warriors, but with the sword still locked inside so that he would only neutralize his opponents.

The Star-Chasers (Taken)
The Star-Chasers are the smallest pair of blades, but with interesting properties. The bottom contains a metal ball that can strangely bond when the wielder becomes enraged. When that happens the swords bottom tip will bond and a rope will extend forth from the pair swords. This feature allows the user to attack at greater distances and allow him to force his attacks to back off at a safer distance. When bonded the user must be in calm state of control or the weapon can strike back. The sword can be extended by flinging hard on the weapon. The hilt and handle will remain with the wielder, while the blade part can extend to strike at more than five feet. When facing the pair within their radius of attack the pair can cut down anyone with swift speed.

The Transience (Taken)
The sword was created out of a meteorite and because of that has unique properties. It's roughly made compared to the other fine smooth surfaces of the other six swords, but its lack of beauty doesn't negate its powers. The sword's composition gives it an unusual ability of magnetism and light emission. When the user uses this sword, powerful magnetic energy is emitted as well as light to blind and confuse the attackers. This sword is the dragon's opposite and both swords have greater violent reactions in combat or training. The sword's magnetic abilities are so strong that it can tear out thin sheets of metal while in combat.

The Celestial Beam (Taken)
The sword is actually a pair of swords that's taken the form of one. When properly used, Celestial Beam's true powers shine in battle. The user can split the blades into two swords, or detach into a second blade. The user requires higher wielding skills to bring out it's "invisible" counterpart. When the smaller version release itself into battle, the sword can fly around almost as if flying like boomerang with the other sword guiding it's direction. Because the other sword can be treated as a projectile, the smaller counterpart can be used almost like a flying kunai. Though not considered to be the strongest sword, it's main advantage is range and power when combining with Deity.

BIO: Wataryuu is a pessimist. He's always talkative and very obnoxious. He is overconfident, but to the people that have fought him, they know it isn't unfounded conceit. He developed great skill at a young age, due to his family. He was the son of a high ranking military official. His father wanted him to follow in his footsteps, so he was trained in the art of swordsmanship at a young age. For his 15th birthday, when he had defeated his father for the first time, he was given an old sword that was his family heirloom. Wataryuu thought it was an old, useless sword that couldn't match up to newer blades. However, bandits came trying to get that sword and killed his father for it. Enraged, Wataryuu grabbed it and slaughtered the bandits. Ever since then, he had used it in his father's memory. He has become a wanderer and works as a freelance mercenary.

Bio: Taro is a young man who was born not in a village, but within a mountain. His father abandoned him, and his mother fell ill after his birth, and only lived for five years, just enough for him to be able to fend for himself. He was told by his mother before her death to find a village as soon as possible, and so he did. It was there he learned to speak, and to know others. However, society was not his way of life, and soon after learning to speak fluently, he ran back to the mountains, and he trained there for 2 years, digging caves with his bare hands. This gave him a lot of physical strength. Eventually, through his efforts of digging, he found The Deity. Now he wanders the world with no home, carrying the Deity, found in the same mountain where he was born, with him.

He's Rash and tends to run into a battle alone but has a friendly nature and will help anyone if they need it. He's been living off the land for 20 years as well as training for that long his sword and armor was handed down to him from his father and thus he will not use any other weapon or equipment in battle.

Bio: Born son to metalworkers and simple farmers, Engel took upon the family trade. Delving into the worlds of metal, Engel soon became engrossed, and his affinity for metals began to grow without bounds. He became able to deftly craft pieces of metalwork that were renowned in his small village, and while he was admired within the confines of his own village, the blacksmiths of neighboring larger villages frowned upon his style. The strokes of his hammer were like the sharp cuts of a sword, and while he was able to produce wonders with it, the blacksmith's hammer seemed to not fit in Engel's hand.

At 14 years of age, while wandering the woods of his village, Engel encountered of an opposing village. In the blacksmiths hand was a long sword, roughly shapen, and seemingly poorly designed. To a blacksmith, it was an atrocity, yet rather than throw the blade away, the blacksmith had decided to give it to Engel, for he had a hunch. As Engel's hands gripped the katana, a change came about him, for his hand seemed to fit perfectly to the grip of the katana. His formerly cheerful eyes became dark and clouded, and without hesitation he killed the blacksmith in front of him. Never letting go of his katana, he proceeded to wipe out the entire other village, sparing only children , old men, cripples, and a few women.

Upon returning to his own village, his actions were greeted with disapproval. Still with the katana in his hands, Engel could not stand the criticism, and lashed out. As in the last village, Engel slayed everyone but his own family, children, old men, cripples, and women. After this incident Engel vanished from the village, but appeared later, throughout the world, often the source of dark deeds, and trouble. However, some have observed Engel's kind side, and have remarked that he is only kind, when not holding a sword. Despite his criminal tendencies, Engel has been serving in the military of certain villages, though never for long.

Biography: A Rider chosen after he killed the previous in battle. The dragon took interest in his lust for battle and had him chosen to be its master. Of near unknown origin, this man is said to have wiped out complete armies with his Dragon. A legend said to bring death and sorrow to all when he arrives. None have really seen his true appearance, or at least lived to tell. Some say he's just a simple legend to scare people, but now true due to the known resurrection of the Dragon Lord.

Villiage: An island off the coast of the known world. This island is said to never have sunlight and it snows throughout the inhabitants' lifetime. They call this place "Xermus Ex"

Special Ability: The power of dominance. Every victim that he encounters is said have their complete soul absorbed, and stripped from them. Dersayu is able to control the abilities of all that meets his blade. The blade is said to be able to inflict wounds that are said to disrupted they healing abilities of the human body for a period of time, leaving you to weaken slowly.. BIO: orza lived a life apart from society. Orza watched people as nothing more than a bystander and eventualy came to a conclsion that people were not worth careing about. so Orza wandered around careing for no one living only for himself until he found a nother lonely soul in the form of a dragon. his personality is of an uncaring person and will only fight unless truly necessary but when it comes to battle orza fights with a cruel hatred for his opponent (more for the fact that he was bothered tofight them in the first place) and anger towards humanity

Ghass can't make more swordsmen, it'd change the story altogether, so that's out. Dragon riders' spots could be raised, but a lot, a LOT, of things would heave to be changed, like their superpowers, the dragons, so I don't think so for those either.

Ghass brought up that even none of those spots could work, so I would assume something else could work. But the best person to ask is ghass himself.

#Monks arent needed. You can use them as NPC, but their role is limited to first few posts.
#No more swordsmen. We needed 7 and we have 7.
#DragonRiders were their to incorporate evil and to include inter character battles than just having NPC enemies. Besides, now we have a chance the "good" guys can be defeated. And they are powerful, so more of them will weaken their might. I said "atmost" 3....0,1,2 or 3. But now its 4 coz it was my fault.
#People who have to edit their characters, make it soon. I'll post the characters in the actual RP thread.
#Dragon information was optional. Specify dragon's ability if you want it to be a different. Like water dragon or earth crawler etc.....otherwise air dragon breathing fire is the default.
#You can leave the RP now, rather than casual posting later. Killing it before it starts is better than burying it later.

BIO: Dridge was known as the most innocent of the dragon riders. He didn’t like to fight unless he had to. He usually just looked for the people that the dragon lord was targeting and let the other dragon riders take care of the work. Nobody really knows where his place of origin was but some old people tell that he used to live in Atlantis and he was the one who destroyed the city when the Dragon God took him under its wing. His true powers are still unknown but the legend said that when someone saw him flying with his water dragon, that place was destroyed right after. Dridge was after put as a sing that when you see him, evil was surely to follow.
