i disgaree with you that a sekirei starts as male first... i think there any yet proven evidence that a sekirei starts as a male....if there is a proven evidence then i will really believe that sekirei starts as a man... i think now a reason why said this is it is becasue of homura right.... if i can remember correctly what my friend told me is that a homura has a special body given to him or her by the mbi president and so that why he or she is angry with him... i am just only stating my opinion i dont intend to fight hahahaahaha peace.....:thumbup:

hmm i was reading the whole serie again since the new english chapter came out and noticed on
chapter 19.. page 2.. there is a picture of landlord lady in bath.. and there is no Sekirei marking on the back of her neck anywhere.

But both from no.2 hacking into MBI database file and other dialoges keep hinting she is already winged since she had a husband after all. And the newest chapter the chairment told he/she that she is the last unwinged one left

Also howcome she got connection to the maindude when he was in pain about no.88's near death?

Yeah I was thinking around 200 Chapters. To me that's a long manga. Maybe there's even longer and I haven't seen them yet. I just want to see if Homura and Miya will be winged by Minato. Also I know there has been discussion wether Homura is a guy or a girl, but I'm confuse about it all. Can they change body or gender at will? Maybe Homura is a special case, after all he is always burning his/her own body. Also are they considered human with special power or something else? Some of the translation were kinda hard to understand. I really wish Miya would get winged by Minato. That would be so awesome for the team. Also if they're all under one Akishiba does it mean in the end that they still have to fight with each other? I don't think it works that way.
I think they're all going to live with him regardless. It would be kinda sad if they all just depart. Like Musubi said If she wins she wants to grant every Sekirei to be with the ones they love. So if that's the case then of course they'll stick around with Minato. That's what I think though.

I just want to know how many he will end with and Miya is going to be one of them. Also I want to know if Homura is a guy or a girl. That question is killing me. In the end if he is a guy and he's destined to be with Minato that means they have to kiss. Lol That's going to be interresting.

I dont think that Homura is a guy. I'd say she is, yes she is a girl initially. However, during the sekirei 1st stage, she took pills from matsu to depress her emotion and hormones >.>

Actually, Homura was a guy, considering that he told Miya he use to sleep around with women to find his Ashikabi(one of the reasons he was a club host). The problem is that Homura has a special body that has been reacting to Minato because of all the Sekireis he has winged. Therefore, Homuras body is changing to become more appealing to Minato, since Minato is obviously not a homosexual.

It may also be that Homura is not the only one with a body like that considering the Red Sekirei(the one with the claws) seemed to have a similiar problem. The translators refered to the Red Sekirei as a he. However, the Red Sekirei also appeared to have some decent sized knockers under those bandages. Also the Red's Ashikabi is gay, so perhaps the Red Seikirei's body was trying to become male to please his/her Ashikabi. Who knows? One thing for sure though Homura was once all man(which is kinda creepy).

P.S. Homura may have also been able to go back & forth from being a male or female. In one of his conversations with Matsu, he told her that before his body would always change back but for some reason(Minato) it's not anymore.

well about chairman there is only 1 unwinged sekiei left and it's in the north.. probably mean it's only the he/she left. so miya must have already been winged.. but if u look at chapter 19 .. page 1(no page 0) it clearly show there is no mark of sekiei behind her neck.. so it's kinda weird.. also miya does have a connection to minato when no.88 was near death further confuse the matter.

maybe.. just maybe miya already winged with minato when he was a kid or unaware of the situation long time ago.

Well, I love how you put it wany, above average chest size O_oa! To think that homura case looked like how tsukiumi winged, I believe that that story is plausible. Afterall, tsukiumi saw homura as her rival. The only thing that I am interested is the reaction of tsukiumi when homura being winged ;)

Also can someone explain the bear? He appears every now and then, but it's kinda hard to understand what it really means. Does it mean jelousy, anger, or unhappynes? Maybe since she doesn't know what those feelings mean they help the reader know what she feels with a bear? >_>

Good question. However you need to remember that the first 3 (chapters 0-2 in OM chapter list) chapters are sort of a prelude (Or you could say a commercial for advertisement) to the actual story. So it is very possible that that was originally ment to be Matsu, #2, a winged sekirei but it was changed later (The author propably changed alot of things after the first 3 chapters).

Her hairstyle, her glasses and her outfit (exept for the leather straps holding up her sleeves) are exactly alike to Matsu.

But then again, she might have been someone else (Since Matsu was a person who could not leave the Izumo-inn due to MBI hunting her).

But if you also look at this particular sekirei:

She looks almost exactly like the dis-used product (Ice sekirei) that was fighting Homura when Minato was trying to rescue Ku-chan. That too seems to support the theory that some of the sekireis seen in the first 3 chapters were prototypes for the final characters in the actual storyline.

Hehe, those were actually my original thoughts. I mean if I remember correctly, a Sekirei uses their powers through the genes of their ashikabis (see Sekirei chp 0-b11), hence why a gene exchange through kissing gives them a power up, so doing the horizontal monster mash with them might give them "dos uber power boost" or something.

Hehe, I have to give the author credit for his novel take on the harem manga. Using genetics as the reason why a total gutless wonder like Minato would have 4 hotties trying to jump his bones.

Yeah, giving your Sekirei "affection" boosts their performance levels. Minato doesn't have to do much because there are strong feelings between him & his Sekirei. So, the slightest touch is enough from Minato. Seo seems to keep his Sekirei(Hibiki & Hikari I believe) regularly "tuned up" though, considering how Minato found them in ch. 36.

So, basically if Minato screwed his Sekirei, they'd be insanely powerful.

Also, wasn't Homura a "defected" sekirei? I remember him mentioning something along those lines....and defected sekireis were not counted in the total sekirei count.

Let me tell you one mistake I see Mahou-X is making. It may be major later on but after looking at the japanese raw of Sekirei 57 Mahou-X keeps have Minato calling him/her Homura but the japanese has Kagari-san as his name. The only one that knows he is Homura is Miya and Matsu.(and Uzume).
