I watched the anime... well half.. and then went straight for the ending xp
I didn't really like it that much, but it's really sweet -- the ending was confusing o__o -ish.
I heard the manga is a bit different.. no?

Yeah, in order to really understand the end, you would have to watch the whole thing, or atleast most of it.

I do not really know if the manga and anime are different or not because I have not read the manga yet. I was hoping that someone would tell me if they are different or not. I still might read the manga though, once I find it.

it's not a bit different, it's really different from the middle to end. Also the mood and story are a bit darker in the manga.

Btw the music in the anime was really good although it got really repetitive.

Is the manga worth reading? All I know is that it's darker than the anime.

I read the complete manga, and I loved it and also I've seen a few eps of the anime, and I have to say the manga is way better. If you are interested, check out the manga.

I loved that anime so much.......All of the songs went really good with it.The manga was cute two,but it has alot more background info on all of the characters like Meroko and Takuto's past lives and their real names.Trust me.it's really good, and there's only 7 volumes to read. And at the end of the manga it kinda throws you into the future to when Full Moon is back from her little "vacation",i cried at the end.

MitsukixTakuto forever

I watched the first few episodes. Does anyone else think that the main character's voice-actor has a weird voice when talking normally?

I really like this manga, same goes for the anime. The songs are really good!
But i like the manga more because the story is a little bit different than from the anime. The manga explains the story more and there are more background and stuff. :D:D
I love the drawings!

lol That's nice. I'm in it only because of the songs. As an anime I think it fails though...The anime could have been much better. But the manga owns. A beautiful story together with beautiful artwork.

I read the manga but haven't watched the anime. xD Don't intend to, after seeing most comments being negative. Personally I think the seiyuu of Mitsuki has a beautiful voice, but it just doesn't seem to suit Mitsuki's adorable and warm personality, especially when she sings. I was imagining a more... sweet and mellifluous voice for her. >_>"

It used to be #1 on my "Favorite Anime" list... but it went down due to Tsubasa Chronicles and some others.. haha~
It's a nice anime though. <33 The ending was great too, it made me cry. x3 If only Mitsuki wasn't so whiny about Eichi-kun... >>

Even though I've only seen parts of the anime, (watched the first few episodes, skimmed some middle episodes and watched the last few episodes) the ending wasn't that good compared to the ending of the manga. The anime had a lot of fillers and the manga went into detail of the shinigami's past lives, and Izumi isn't treated as a bad guy as much in the manga. The ending to the anime was cliffhangerish while the ending to the manga was a bit more complete. However, Full Moon will remain as a favorite manga.

I loved that series, which is rare since I don't usually enjoy sappy mangas. I have yet to see the anime though.

I preferred the manga to the anime because just as someone pointed out, the manga delves into the shinigami's past lives and I really like the side stories about Meroko and Izumi's past lives. Plus the fact that Izumi is a more developed character and tragic character, not just an evil shinigami in the manga.

I also prefer how in the manga, Mitsuki knows about Eichi's death but is actually in denial about it. It makes her more human rather than just being a chirpy, hopeful cancer-inflicted girl.

The manga's ending is also more complete and not as much of a cliffhanger. And basically I like how Meroko and Izumi got together, they kind of deserve a little happiness after all the pain both had gone through.

P/S: I don't know how to insert a little box where one can choose to view the spoiler or not (I'm going to ask around soon), so I did the spoiler wording instead.

If you want to do a spoiler, mystal, just do this...1) use [ then type word spoiler then close with ], then 2) type whatever text you want to put in and then 3) use [ then / write spoiler then close with ]. I just did it for you above. If this doesn't make sense, just go to announcements and look for "The Great Big Guide...". It should help you. ;)

Now, about this manga. I certainly loved it. I haven't seen the anime but that's ok. Like Absolute Boyfriend, it had such a bittersweet ending. My heart broke finding out during the series about her first love. You can say I love these kind of sappy stories. Sniff...but what an ending, though.

I love this series!
I'm kindda mad about how different they made the anime with how Takuto died and the ending, but it's still very nice.
I perefer the manga, though.

the manga series was done very well. it more aimed at the older people, like teens. in the manga, there is more plot then the anime dealing with Takuto, Mitsuki, Meroko, and Izumi. plus, it has events that don't happen in the anime, like the ending. in the anime, it was done okay but aimed for kids under 13. the anime didn't have any fights or things like that but still was okay. the ending was okay but i think that they could have done more with the ending instead of leaving us guessing what happens afterwords.

I love and have this manga. Even though it is definitely darker than the anime I would definitely recommend this because it is so awesome the plot is extraordinary with many twists and turns that you would have never ever ever thought of before. I love Arina Tanemura's animation and the anime's storyline is more cuter with less twists and turns. So if you haven't read this manga you should start now because it is extremely awesome!!!
