I thought I'd make a thread to discuss the group that Sasuke created: Hebi (meaning snake).

Their purpose is to find and kill Uchiha Itachi.

If they kill Itachi, do you think Hebi will stay together and form other plans? Will they try to form their own sort of Akatsuki?

So anything about Hebi should go here, but if this thread is against the rules (which I'm sure it isn't), then a moderator should feel free to close it.

The last man of Hebi is Jyuugo from what I read he was the original bearer of the cursed seal and he can't really control it since he can't stop the urge to kill whenever the seal awakens

Well Suigetsu is related to the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist in some way and wants Kisame sword. He was experimented on Orochimaru for a while and has strange powers, I wonder if he will ever get into a fight with Kisame.

Juggo is a pretty cool guy once u get passed that killing anyone who disturbs him thing but Sasuke has that inder control. And with him Sasuke may learn how to get the Cursed seal off himself........NOT! there's no way Sasuke would give away the only thing that makes him so strong and gives him a chance against top level fighters like the Akatsuki and Naruto.
Suigetsu is a pretty neat experiment who has the power of water and out of the 3 Sasuke recruited I like him best.

Her ability allows her to pick up chakra from long distances and notice changes in an individual's chakra. Even Kakashi pointed out that Karin is a particularly skilled chakra-sensing ninja, as she is not only able to tell that his group is approaching, but can also sense how many of them are present and that one is a dog. And we will surely see Team Hebi in action soon after the Jiraiya vs Pain is over.

So basically Karin is Hebi's dog and sniffs out the "target" and then when they find it the guys take over. In terms of her skill she seems to be of lesser skill than Sakura.

So far all we know is, Karin has chakra sensing ability, Juugo talks with animals and has the cursed seal (dunno what he does exactly) and Suigetsu? He is among the Seven Swordsmen or something ? I dont remember exactly. Add something that I missed, but they havent shown much from team Hebi.

Well Suigetsu is really strong. I remember when he cut down the door when Karin was sweet talking Sasuke, His arm was Huge! And then he surpressed it and it went back to normal. Im not sure if he can munipulate the water in his body to make himself bigger or if he just has shape shifting abilities. Juugo is just a beast. I dont think anyone but the Uchihas can mess with that boy. Karin is just there to be the security measure. No one can sneak up on Sasuke and Hebi as long as she is around. And Sasuke...... Yeah, I agree with Sasuke fighting Itachi alone, they not gonna let anyone interfere, since it's too personal.

I mean, we don't know their real power yet, but I think Juugo is the strongest in Hebi after Sasuke, it's a must !!

Suigetsu is definitely the one to look out for. Juggo is under control by Sasuke and even if he turns all angry and stuff, its easier to beat an angered foe than it is to beat a calm one. After what Kisame said abt Suigetsu, we havent even seen his true power yet.

I can see Suigetsu dying, but I can't see Juugo dying with the new guy he sucked up. He probably got a chakra boost from that, seeing how he can give his chakra and probably take it.

So far, the samurai haven't shown anything that could, ostensibly, take those two down. There's a captain there now, though, and they're outnumbered and tired out. I'm guessing they'll either find a way to escape, or get captured/surrender.

I'm thinking if they felt the need to hide, then the Samurai are indeed a threat to them, otherwise they would just leave in the open. Also we have no idea what all the Samurai are capable of. Its a bit premature to assume that their basic guards are an indication of the best they have to offer. For all we know, they could have their own sages. Sage Mode doesn't appear to be necessarilly exclusive to ninja. Especially since we know they can manipulate their own chakra.

I'm not saying there are Samurai sages, i'm just using that possibility as an example, since its really just a form of chakra control at its core and that one captain Samurai seemed to know exactly who Suigetsu and Juugo were.

Also, what about the Rikudo Sage, i dont recall any connection between him and the frogs.

It is a confirmed and will be one until other Sage's appear. You just can't assume other Sage's exist if they've been only shown in one place, with two people, out of the entire ninja world.

Sage Mode isn't just a form of chakra control... It's about brining a whole 'nother energy in your body and mixing it with your own energies. Only the toads have it, or have been seen to have it. The way the manga is going, this isn't going to be the type of "Sage" manga. There's not going to be a Hawk Sage or a Wolf Sage or anything -quite frankly- stupid like that.

Sage of the Six Paths =/= Sage Mode. The Kanji are entirely different. The Sage hails from something entirely different. If he had Sage Mode, don't you think they would have drawn it now. And there's no need to over power him. He was basically Senju + Rinnegan + Every Tailed Beast Together.

Sage Mode is worthless compared to just the first two powers. Because Pain, not even being there in his real body -God Realm- a puppet if you will, was able to avoid Sage Mode's lethal blows and every single FRS thrown at him.

Ok. Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't know about the Kanji differences between the Rikudo and Sage Mode.
