Will translations of the raw Naruto Manga give us the same message that Kishi meant for it to be? Japanese and English can't exactly be translated from one another perfectly and will maybe give wrong ideas of what the Manga has to imply. Could mean that many speculations of future chapters and discussing of the Manga to its' every wording could be a waste of time?

Examples of possible mis-leading translations-

●[/URL]http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/435/001/
"he stole away Kakashi", that dosn't really make sense , does it? I mean, could it be a clue that Kakashi is still alive or it was the result of mistranslation?

●Tomorow can be used to say future in japanese, in english, in portuguese, in italian, in french, in german, in all the latin and germanic languages anyway, and probably in all the other too. Well...tomorrow for us...its pretty clear...

●Something funny though-

The "word" being used? I really wondered how it was said in Japanese.

●Um...this page is just weird-

●This one too-

I understand the translators are doing their job...but i rekon we are going a little too far with all theses predictions such as how Tobi could be Obito because of their similarities in names, but now we know the truth..XD

Speaking of translations- Why arn't the names of the jutsus translated? Is it because they are names? Or..again , may confuse readers.

Yes, slight mistakes and mis-translations tend to happen in translated manga world, not just for Naruto series only. But what can we do? Not everyone of us could read Japanese. So it's the only thing that we can do. Translate and read translated manga.
Wrong or not, they should give the most accurate translation for that particular manga.
Let's just have faith in the translator's work. They're not a translator for nothing :/

Unless I'm wrong >_>

And this should be in the Okatu Chat/Anime section.

It's not really that hard anyway to guess what're they trying to imply anyway, anyone can orbably guess how Nagato's current self pitying flashback end (I don't even know why do we even need this again....), it's redundant anyway since Pain 'Yahiko' have explained his motivation already.

Well, i'm just glad that the scanlation team made their best effort in bringing the manga. And about the translation, it may be misleading at some point, that's why we have the forum community to discuss it with. The jutsu isn't translated into english, to maintain the intention of the jutsu in japanese, which is more cooler i think. For example, Kage bushin no jutsu, translated into english is shadow clone technique, which the impact of the actual japanese version sounds a lot more cooler, and remain the actual verse of what the author's work. Amaterasu, Itachi's black flame is a jutsu base from the folk story of sun goddess. IF it were meant to translate into English without knowing the actual base of the given japanese word, it'll loses its meaning entirely. Wouldn't you think so? =)))
