ok! let's start the discussion of this new anime! 2 episodes out for viewing..

personally i think this anime has great potential.. 2 episodes and im already addicted to it.. especially the music! but i sure hope it wont end like School Days.. :/

Myself; Yourself is good. It's nothing too spectacular but that's good once in a while too. Not every Anime can be as dramatic as Clannad and Co. ;)

Only thing I don't like is that Aoi-girl. Why does she still have to have that childish voice, it's really annoying. XD

Well, it's not rare to have a high-pitched voice especially for those who're working as Voice Actors/Actress, If we have to, blaming the anime house for choosing such voice for the characters are more appropiate :D

The game...., isn't out yet.

It will be released for PS2 in 12/20/07, from what I know the original version of Myself;Yourself is based on the light novel.

And there's slim chance for a group to translate a light novel, since unlike manga and anime, it doesn't really attract much interest (except Suzumiya Haruhi's one maybe, due to its large fanbase).

I got mine in some random piracy game store in Malaysia, I think this country especially good If you want to find some rare Japanese games at a very cheap price. It has a very big collection for especially Japanese version only game (pirated games of course, but that's what make it so sweet, as it even less than $3 in US after the converted amount).

Yeah, Sana seems to have kinda abnormal fear of blood or something, then the water-proof watch seems to be important to him as well, lotsa his past hasn't been revealed yet.

Aoi's panty shot is defenitely this episode highlight btw ;), the overall characters seem pretty much likeable, and there's no tension between characters yet as well, except for more Sana advance on Nanaka.

Took me a while before I could watch this. Anyway, I might be terribly wrong here, seeing as there are only 3 episodes yet but I have a bad feeling about this.

I'll put my theory into spoiler tags because there might be people who don't want to read a "possible" ending.

Fear of Blood + important watch + returned home after 5 years + mother calls every day = ?

This is just a theory: What if this thing isn't a watch but some device that measures blood pressure or anything like that and his mother keeps calling him to check up on him because he has some kind of sickness. We could go even further by saying he returned to his home because he knows he's going to die...

I'm looking forward to episode 4, the new girl is cute. Silver/grey is my favorite haircolor. ^^

It's just that for me...., spoilers is a must for the anime I'm watching, so I actually read any spoilers there is first for the series/anime that I'm planning to watch.

No any good result so far though, all I know there's six light novel of this series so far, each focused on the girl of the series, and some Japanese words that I don't understand....

I read all spoilers I could get for Lost Season 2. I liked it.

I watched Lost Season 3 without any spoilers... I LOVED it.

I know it's hard to get away from spoilers, it's like a drug, but give it a try. You won't regret it. :thumbup:

My theory: The watch tell him how much longer he has to live and his mother keeps calling on hows he is doing and see if he has said his goodbye. On episode 2 he tell his mom not to worry that it will go well guessing that the good bye to his friends part. On the first episode it shows his watch which means it tells time but at the table he covers the watch so that nobody sees it. It makes you guess that he must cheer Nanaka up by tell her about the watch oh well theres my theory hope I'm not to way off

Well, I have watched this episode, and there's nothing new about Sana this week sadly, even Nanaka doesn't appear in this episode.

This week episode is especially for those who like loli (underaged girl...., but I think you guys should know that already :D ), since it's all about Hinako.

too bad I'm waiting for the HD version, there is such a noticeable difference when viewing in SD & HD (if your monitor is capable that is and most current monitors are) and besides, the group stated themselves that the H264 version will fix any mistakes made on the XviD version so that's another reason to wait for it (it only takes about a day max 2 for that version to come out anyway)

Wow, that guy in the last scene looked really creepy. together with the cat on his lap, the bad-quality TV, the fast cuts and the end with the collar, I'd say he's a mad scientist who's trying to destroy the world.
But this is a comedy/romance/drama Anime, so I guess he's not. ^^

I tried everything, including VLC. They are all watchable but they freeze from time to time for a few seconds which is annoying for movies with subtitles.

For this I just get the XviD file, not that it really matters for me whichever file though, I'm the type "first come, first serve" for these kind of thing, whichever released first, I will get that version, waiting subs could be a pain sometimes.... (like SZS subber, they're REALLY pissed me off with their super slow release).

lol, pedophile...it's not like Sana wanted her to stay in the first place...btw, I wait for the H264 version because there is a noticeable difference btwn the Xvid version and pretty much I don't get any Xvid versions unless the fansubs do not bring out a H264 version (although not all H264 versions are in HD...it's become a habit) and there are times when the H264 versions are pretty much equal to or less than the Xvid version (the size of the file that is). Can't wait for the next ep which should be released by tonight or tomorrow (since the HD version gets released on Thursday)

I only watch it once so I'm not sure if I remember it correctly
first is the step mother is a ***** . she is going with another boy and only using
the most disgusting father for money then they go into a motel.
and the next shows up shuri and kyuuske (sorry for the spelling) have a little chit chat
then buy a wrist band (or something like that(doesn't know the name)) then in the mourning they gey yelled but the vice and principal both baka! max!
they where frame up by someone or is it set up? for going together to a motel
or hotel and they are siblings so its bad for them.then in home the baka father
yelled at shuri and got slapped and shuri was crying and all in the room then kyuuske enter the room and chit chat again and kyuuske say something like lets go out of here or something like that (not sure but they are going away from home or running)

Upon further inspection of the game, I find that the game actually give us to choose between two male lead; Sana or Shuu to play the game, it's kinda unique since you usually only have one male lead in such a visual novel dating game...

Anyway, the girls we get to choose from the game version are....
As Sana; Nanaka, Aoi, Shuri, Yuzuki.
As Shuu; Nanaka, Hoshino, Hinako(!).

No incest storyline for Shuu...., but have the chance to straighten up a lesbi and a date an underage it seems. :D

And judging from gameplay dialog, it seems that Hoshino really have some serious problem:

Yes I also heard that part. And I think the house where the scene is happening is hoshino's house because in the anime the house in the game doesn't fit the house if shuu in the anime. SO! I think shuu is persuading hoshino though its just a feeling.

The story is good and worth watching.

The last episode sure hit the jackpot with all those revelation.
Its sad that another series that I watched is finished. I really
like the last episode its quite normal for others but for me I
felt sad and all about the shocking revelation.. feel teary in some part
to that extent only. And after 10 years the little loli has a boyfriend
that looks like shuu and about the twins their face where never
shown only hands and their bracelet. As for aoi she never change
and hoshino really stand up against the one who want to build
a hall in the park.

And I shouldn't be full of my self when we see the back of the uncle
we thought its him already but its her father... never see that coming.

And sana sure lacks courage. He actually try to end his life with only that.
Well I always got bullied when I was in elementary and always cried
but when I enter high school. The tides turn upside down. And that always

I just finished this anime a few minutes ago, literally! I watched all 13episodes today =), yep!

Gotta say, I expected more outta the tradegies because of the major imagery done and emotions shown by the characters when talking about the scar on Sana's wrist and I seriously suspected the uncle in Nanaka's case.
Plot-wise, not sure what was the exact plot for this story lol. I felt like I was reading a novel most of the time, not that it was boring just that the story didnt really go anywhere. If they would have shown the ending in the first episode and then displayed what happened to reach that ending, I felt that this story would have been more interesting. I am sure the audience already figured out what would happen at the end from the first episode.
Character design, Good. I liked the character designs except that the characters just seem a bit "small". A 10 year old is around the size of what the Aoi looked like, except for the chest size lol, referring to Hinako the 11year old. They just seem a bit small and then Yuzuki sensi is just really small for her age too, she is around the same height as the high school girls -_-;;, not saying that all teachers should be tall, since I had a few "short" teachers myself, but just felt that the character design seem petite. Other than that, I liked all the character designs

Certain things I didnt like about the anime:
1- Didnt think the story should have developed that incest pairing. That didnt bother me but I just felt that, it was inappropriate(lack of a better term).
2- Aoi, I am not sure why she was left alone at the end...what is her relationship with Sana? I dont think that was clearly stated.
3- Ending being a bit rushed. The story could have went a bit further, the 10year skip was a bit too much...

That is about all I can think of atm xD, so its a good anime overall ^^.
I would rate it 7/10, 10 being the best possible.

Hinako is for the loli fans and after 10 years skip she doesn't change a bit.
As for aoi the oldest of in the group being nice onee_san to all with annoying
voice and big future in her front. As for yuzuki sensei the sense that gives
rewards.

About the height like I care about the heights of the character...
It really doesn't bother me unless its really bugs me but other than that
I didn't put much effort on observing them.

As for the plot story its really is a bit hard to connect story.
Pretty bizarre and all some left story is just been skip leave plot holes
on them.As for the song that nanaka created well I didn't imagine it that
way to be played in the last episode. With a time jump...
I imagine it to be played by all of them in a cultural festival of their school
but when shuu and shuri go eloping it just messed out everything.
( I prefer elope because they look like lovers despite being sibling )
The ending and nanaka's real incident is not what I imagine would be.
Well I still like the story and all its one of my favorite anime for this season.

Word of coution, I don't know about Spade taste clearly myself (as much as I love him :D), but one of the reason I follow this anime is b/c the subber at that time [m.3.3.w.] provides a direct download to whatever anime they sub.
I could get every ep literally in about 10 minutes or so, and that's very convinient to me. Of course, the cute girls are also another motivation to do so....

I'm not disappointed with this anime in the end to say at least, for what it is worth...., but like I said before, I wish it isn't rushed as much and take some material from the game to skecth it longer (like, love triangle issue between Aoi - Senna - Nanako).

Oh well...., I guess it is useless complaining about that now. >_>
