WARNING! This is a Spin-off from FFX, and is HEAVILY based upon its theme, characters, terminology and its world. Spoilers may be posted, so proceed at your own will.:skull:


"I am Seymour Guado. I am honored to receive the title of maester. In life, my father Jyscal worked to foster friendship between man and Guado. I vow to carry on his legacy, and to fulfill my duties as maester to the best of my abilities."

Seymour was born from the leader of the Guado, Jyscal Guado, and a human woman in an attempt to foster friendship between the Guado and human races. However, many of the Guado saw the boy as an abomination and Jyscal's decision to wed a human led to disunity in the Guado tribe. In order to avoid further strife amongst the Guado nation, Jyscal had his wife and son exiled to the island of Baaj.

Afterwards, Seymour's mother, suffering from a terminal illness gave her life to Yunalesca to become the fayth of the aeon Anima, believing that only in sacrificing herself for Spira's temporary peace (known as "the Calm") against the malevolent creature Sin would her son be accepted by the people. Horrified, Seymour refused the Aeon and returned to Baaj Temple, where he dwelt alone for years, becoming increasingly morose and cynical.

In time, he became twisted, believing that death was the only freedom from the suffering of life, and that it would be in everyone's best interests to die and thus developed a Messiah complex. But to achieve his aims, he had to have a power greater than Anima, whose power he eventually accepted, over even all of the aeons combined.

At eighteen years of age, during High Summoner Braska's Calm, Seymour's exile was revoked and he was summoned back to Guadosalam, the capital of the Guado nation, where he was then ordained as a priest of Macalania Temple. Seven years later, he returned to Zanarkand to accept Anima's power, and then had its fayth statue transported to Baaj Temple, which he revisited several times while deciding if he should carry out a plan he had devised, ascending the hierarchy of Yevon with his ultimate goal being to become the next Sin.

After defeating both New-Yevon and the High Summoner Yuna, Seymour achieved his dream of merging himself with Sin, Jecht, a famous guardian was released, and now he sets out to find a group who will aid him in the destruction of Flux-Sin.

The World Of Spira
This RP is based on Final Fantasy X. Almost every aspect of that game will reside in this RP, making it a true testament to the games legacy, the story however is different, and is solely based around my idea of what would have happened if Seymour defeated Yuna.

Battle
The Battle system will be as such.

Enemy Stats Will Be Posted In an Battle update~
Player will then post his/her actions attacking the monster, and at the bottom, posting their stats, target and attack skill used, like this.

Races

Each race specializes in a certain area, Race's which are used with their aligned class tend to be more stronger, but sometimes trying something new doesn't hurt, you never know what you can come up with.

Cactuars
Cactuars are a small cactus-like creature from the Final Fantasy series of video games. They are typically depicted as having stiff arms and legs, three black dots on their faces representing two eyes and a round mouth and 3 red spikes at the top of their heads. They're famous for their attack, 1000 needles, which does exactly 1000 damage to an opponent. However there are some Cactuars that can deal up to 10,000 damage, will you be the one?

Guado
Guado are a fictional humanoid race inhabiting Spira. They are long limbed and have gnarly features, and the protectors of Spira's afterlife 'the Farplane'; this gives them the power to summon undead 'fiends'. Guado once dedicated themselves to serving their Lords, but these have died out and the Guado now dedicate themselves to the enjoyment of music.

Moogle
Moogles are little white creatures that appear throughout the world of Spira. Good-natured creatures, they are usually white with a white antenna sticking out of their head with a small red ball at the end of it. They have small, red wings, and their ears are shaped like cats.

Ronso
The Ronso came into being at some point in time during Sin's 1000 year reign of terror. Ronso culture is communal, in that every individual is part of a whole. Unity and pride is very important to the Ronso tribe. Losing a fight or your horn is a great dishonor. Size also matters in the tribe. Ronso adults usually top out around 10 to 14 feet in height, with their horns at 1 foot long.

Tonberry
A Tonberry is quite small, usually no larger than two or three feet tall. It has green skin and a round head with a small snout and round yellow eyes; it walks on two legs and resembles, to some small degree, a bipedal lizard. However, it always wears a hooded cloak, usually plain brown or grey in color, and its dolphin-like tail can be seen peeking out from beneath the hem. A Tonberry always carries two things: a lantern in one hand to light its way through the caves, and a long, sharp butcher's knife in the other.

Human
Humans inhabit Spira everywhere, their physical description varies between them. Humans have the ability to excel in any thing they choose to do, and usually pick multi-classes.

Classes

Summoner
Summoners use Summoning Magic, which calls on Summon Monsters. These entities attack enemies, protect the party, or render other forms of aid. As a magic-using class, summoners are typically shown to be physically frail as a trade-off for high magical potency, and can traditionally equip only light armaments such as clothing and robes. Summoners often use staves or rods for their offensive means.

Summoners start of with One Summon.

Warrior
Warrior's are portrayed as an expert swordsman who uses some of the most powerful armors and weaponry. As such, it is a well-rounded physical combatant with high attack and defense statistics.

Warriors can use any weapon.

Black Mage
The Black Mage is a magic user specializing in attack magic, Black Magic. Their weapons are generally restricted to rods and daggers. They are usually depicted wearing distinctive costumes consisting of a blue or black robe and a large conical, wide-brimmed hat which obscures their face, with two yellow eyes shining from within the shadow. Black Magic consists of basic to advanced spells like Fire - Firaga.

Black Mages start with 3 basic spells.

White Mage
A White Mage uses White Magic, which emphasizes defensive spells such as replenishing party members' hit points with spells such as Cure, reviving the fallen with spells such as Raise or Life, and curing status conditions with spells such as Esuna. Typically having a weak and limited repertoire of attack spells and an inability to use heavy weaponry or armor, their primary use is support for other members of a battle party. Usually their only offensive skill is the magic Holy, which deals heavy damage to a target, regardless of whether or not the target is undead.

White Mages start with 3 Basic spells with "Cure" being one of them.

Thief
The Thief is generally a nimble and agile physical combatant whose main weapon includes daggers or short swords. They usually have very high speed, accuracy, and evasion but low defense due to light armor. Steal is their trademark ability; it allows them to transfer an item or piece of equipment held by an enemy to the player's inventory. They can also disarm traps and detect hidden passages.

Thief's start with the skill "Steal" automatically.

Blue Mage
The Blue Mage is a practitioner of Blue Magic, which replicates the special attacks of monsters through learning or observation. Originally, Blue Mages wore blue domino masks however, they have not retained any distinct image like that of the White Mage and Black Mage. Blue Mages may "Scan" an enemy for its statistical information.

Blue Mages start of with "Scan" automatically

Fighter
Fighter's are masters of martial arts who favors barehanded fighting, sometimes supplemented with claws. In some cases, they can use meditative techniques, which improve their power or heal their wounds. They can often counterattack against physical attacks as well.

Fighters can only equip claws.

Crafter
Crafter's can assemble and dissemble machinery and equipment during battle, they typically use guns/grenades and things from around them to create powerful weapons. Crafters are very versatile, being able to place their stats everywhere, depending on what they craft.

Crafters have the skill "Craft" automatically.

Sniper
The long ranged class. They specialize in using guns and other projectiles. The are able to mix magic with their attacks to make them more lethal, and usually using affliction's to weaken their enemies.

Snipers start with one basic Affliction spell.

Time Mage
The Time Mage is a specialized wizard with the ability to manipulate the space-time continuum to speed up, slow down, or completely halt the passage of time; control celestial bodies; or influence the pull of gravity.

Time Mages are immune to Slow/aga, Stop and Demi/aga

Mystic Knight
Mystic Knights are warriors that can cast magic on their swords to perform attacks with the power of the spell for several rounds.

Mystic Knight's can use any weapon

Ranger
Rangers are men of the wild, that primarily focus on using nature as a weapon. Rangers have decent melee, ranged and magi skills making them a versatile class.

Rangers start with the skill "Hunt"

History: Unlike most young kids, Seras never got into Blitzball. She was too busy admiring Al Bhed weaponry. She found a cannon named Harkonnen when she was 14, and fell in love. Although it was far too large for her to use at such a young age, she began training her skills as a shooter immediately. When she falls, she has trouble getting up again due to the weight. Shes spent so much time looking into the distance that she has poor near-sight.

Attack: Basic attack with a revolver.
Cannon (str) (cnfs): affliction
Rapid-Fire (spd): low damage/multi-hit
Snipe (acc): high dmg

Cannon: Whips out a handheld cannon on her back. Fires a heavy projectile for massive damage. Higher strength allows for stronger recoil, meaning heavier ammo can be used, which means more power. Targets have a chance of getting concussed, confusing them.
Rapid-Fire:: Uses 4 revolvers on hip/thigh holsters to rapidly fire 6 bullets each (24 total), at the cost of accuracy. Better speed grants better aiming time per shot, meaning less accuracy loss.
Snipe: Uses a sniper placed on the small of her back. Much less speed, but extremely accurate and strong. Better accuracy means less range-finding and aiming, which results in faster shots.

History: Gaol is a silent, muscled and unfriendly-looking Ronso, who has a scary nickname. He, his family and soem other Ronsos lived outside of Gagazet in a little village and everything was fine until one sad night. In this night Ronso was 18 and the full moon shone like never before, well in this night Ronso sleepwalked for the first time and while sleepwalking he took his Axe and made a real massacre in his village in that everyone he loved died by his own hands. When some travveling merchants cameby the village the next morning they saw the massacre and the crying Gaol, ofcourse they didnt asked what happened and run away, so this incident gave Gaol his nickname "Black Slaughterer" and from this day on he was every single day alone and you can see his sadness in his eyes. Will this ever change? However since then he worked as mercenary and there his reputation gave him a little advantage, but he doesnt want to be aloen anymore, so everyone is scared of him.

History: Marena was born in Luca, the city of Blitzball in Spira. Her whole childhood had nothing special for. She worked as a help in her father’s workshop which was repairing vehicles of Ivalice, so she learned through him of the basis of this work. Her father was as well associated in this with an Al-Bhed living apart from his tribe and which was maybe more skilled when it cames to repairs. Despite of her rather “dirty” work, she has the habit of trying to be always clean on her since she was quite proud of her white fur which was so different than the other race. It never gets in the way of her work though since she’s quite diligent.
Since the avent of Flux-Sin, her father’s friend had decided to return t the desert of Bikanel to see how his homeland was (furthermore, he heard there had been an attack here not long before the change in Sin). This simple fact quite changed her habits and since she was of age to be adult, she decided that it would be the occasion to discover the world, even though it may be dangerous.

History: As a young child her village was destroyed in a sin attack she would of died herself except her unconcious body was found by a couple of monster.
Though strangly these creatures did not kill the child because they senced no danger from it rather they raised it and the girl grew up amongst the fiends by the age of twelve she had adapted to life in the forests, she knew how to hunt, treat her own wounds with nearby herbs and how to avoid conflict with monsters in the area.
As she got older she would briefly get into contact with humans that pass through the area, she quickly learned that people would give her many shiny things (money) if she would lead them through the area which would allow them to traverse the area without conflict, her grasp of the human language is at a relativly normal level she can communicate with others though her communications skills may be abit hard to comprahend unless a person is willing to wait and lsiten to her.

Pushing Beyond Your Limits

This RP does not use a grid or leveling system, unlike most of the Final Fantasy games. This RP is based more on terms of how long you survive in this world. Someone who can survive around 10 Rotations has obvious skill and deserves to be credited with some sort of extra power.

However, the ability to Advance in a class still remains true to the series. After reaching a certain amount of posts, and winning a certain amount of fights, a player can choose to advance, or multi-class. Multi-class is mainly for classes who do not have a higher class, but any class can multi-class. It allows people to go into separate directions, choosing another basic class to fight alongside their own one, it can be very effective if used properly. However choosing a multi-class means you can never advance in any class again.

The Battle System


Defeat 5 Auto-Kill Enemies = New Basic Skill/50 Stat Points
Defeat 1 NPC Enemy and 3 Auto-Kill Enemies = New Moderate Skill/Skill Advancement (Fire --> Fira)/100 Stat Points
Defeat 1 Boss = Limit Break & New Moderate Skill/ 200 Stat Points
Defeat 2 Bosses and 1 NPC Enemy= New Advanced Skill & Skill Advancement (Fira ---> Firaga)/ 300 Stat Points


Once an Upgrade has been purchased, your post/battle counter will reset. It is your choice to save it for something bigger.

Advancement/Multi-Classing
Advancement and Multi-Classing are only granted to someone who has performed adequate RPing, and has been here for a sufficiently long time. It may be given out to some certain special cases, if someone makes an amazing post.

The Power Within

This section is about explaining skill-use and types. There are 4 types of skills, Melee, Magi, Passive, Ranged. Each of these skills normally belong to one class, being the major type of skill that class will use, with an exception of a few side skills.

Skills

Warrior

Basic:
Power Break : Deals average melee damage and lowers enemy attack.
Armor Break: Deals average melee damage and lowers enemy defence.
Magic Break: Deals average melee damage and lowers enemy magic.
Heavy Slash: Deals moderate damage to an enemy at the cost of speed and accuracy reduction.
Double Attack: Allows the user to cast two attacks, but at half damage/effect.


Moderate:

Full Break: Deals moderate melee damage and lowers enemy attack/defence/magic stats.
Bushido: Deals heavy damage at the cost of speed and accuracy.
Flametounge: Deals fire-melee damage.
IceBreaker: Deals ice-melee damage.
Thors Slash: Deals thunder-melee damage.
Aqua Strike: Deals water-melee damage.


Advanced:

Zombie Attack: Deals heavy melee damage and inflicts "Zombie" status upon the target.
Doom Attack: Deals heavy melee damage and inflicts "Doom" status upon the target.
Assualt: Doubles the partys attack and defence stat but puts them into "Beserk" status.
Sentinel: Allows the user to take an allies damage for one turn.
Excalibur: Deal tremendous holy-melee damage.
Black Night: Deals tremendous dark-melee damage.


Black Mage


Basic:

Fire: Deals average fire damage.
Water: Deals average water damage.
Thunder: Deals average thunder damage.
Blizzard: Deals average ice damage.
Bio: Inflicts "Poison" status upon target (30% hit rate)


Moderate:

Fira: Deals moderate fire damage
Watera: Deals moderate water damage.
Thundara: Deals moderate thunder damage.
Blizzara: Deals moderate ice damage.
Bio-Boost: Improved version of Bio (50%->70% hit rate)
Demi: Reduces target hp by 1/4 (60% hit rate)
Hp absorb: Absorbs minor Hp from target.


Advanced:

Firaga: Deals heavy fire damage.
Wateraga: Deals heavy water damage.
Thunderaga: Deals heavy thunder damage.
Blizzaga: Deals heavy ice damage.
Double Cast: Allows the user to cast two spells, at 3/4 damage.
Ultima: Deals tremendous non-elemental damage (can only be used once per fight)
Flare: Deals heavy non-elemental damage to the entire enemy part.
Demiaga: reduces target hp by 1/4 (100% hit rate)


Blue Mage

Basic:

Scan: Enables the user to scan the enemy for weaknesses and info.
Capture: Allows the user to learn a enemy move. (Enemies with learnable moves will be shown when "Scan" is used on them
Fiend-Hunter: Deals average ranged damage and moderate ranged damage to Fiends.
Beast-Master: Deals average ranged damage and moderate ranged damage to Beasts.


Moderate:

Machina-Masher: Deals moderate ranged damage and heavy ranged damage to machina.
Flyer-Folly: Deals moderate ranged damage and heavy ranged damage to Flyers.
Summon-Smash: Deals moderate ranged damage and heavy ranged damage to summons.
Death-Dealer: Deals moderate ranged damage and heavy ranged damage to un-dead.
Human-Harass: Deals moderate ranged damage and heavy ranged damage to Humans.
Multi-Scan: Allows the user to scan a whole party.


Advanced:

Magi-Bullet: Deals heavy ranged-magi damage.
Elemental Fury: Deals tremendous ranged elemental damage to all enemies. (can only be used once per fight)
Auto-Scan: Enemies are automatically scan upon battle entry.
Master Of All: Deals moderate melee damage to any type.


Fighter

Basic:

Attack-up: Raises attack stat by 1/4.
Defence-Up: Raises defence stat by 1/4.
Speed-Up: Raises speed stat by 1/4.
Heavy-Blow: Deals moderate melee damage.


Moderate:

Cheer: Raises the parties attack stat by 1/4.
Agility: Raises the parties speed stat by 1/4.
Harden: Raises the parties defence stat by 1/4.
Enrage: Doubles the users attack and defence in exchange for half their health.
High-Speed-Rush: A combo of 5 hits, dealing heavy melee damage at the cost of health.
Meditate: Heals the user a little bit.


Advanced:

Ascendency: Doubles all the users stats for one attack at the cost of 1/4 health.
Dragon Fist: Deals tremendous melee damage. (can be used once per fight)
Forced Punishment: Transfers users health to another party member, and gains 1/2 attack stat added.
Beserk: Puts the user into as beserke state, doubling all stats, but loosing control of the user.


Theif

Basic:

Steal: The user attempts to steal an item from the target (30% hit rate)
Use: Allows the user to use theif-special items such as grenades.
Mug: Deals average damage while attempting to steal gil (20% hit rate)
Taunt: Forces the enemy to attack the user.


Moderate:

Pilfer Gil: The user attempts to steal gil from the target (50% hit rate)
Rare-Steal: The user attempts to steal rare items from the target (60% hit rate, requires "Steal" to be learnt)
Double-use: Allows the user to use two theif-special items.
Evade-up: Allows the user to raise the evasion stat.


Advanced:

Mix: Allows the user to mix theif-special items for a devastating effect.
Billionaire: The user attempts to steal gil from the target, while dealing moderate damage. (80% hit rate)
Master Thief: The user attempts to steal rare items from the target, while dealing moderate damage. (90% hit rate)
Evade and Counter: Allows the user to evade a melee attack and counter.
Crafty: Allows theives to use craft-special items.


Sniper

Basic:

Cannon: Deals moderate damage to on target, sometimes leaving them confused (30% hit rate)
Rapid-Fire: Deals low damage numerous of times increasing speed but lowering accuracy.
Snipe: Sacrificing all speed for one turn, user deals moderate damage and increases accuracy and attack for one turn.
Aim: User increases accuracy by 1/4.


Moderate:

Blind-Shot: Deals moderate ranged damage and inflicts "Blind" status upon target (50% hit rate)
Silence-Shot: Deals moderate ranged damage and inflicts "Silence" status upon target (50% hit rate)
Head-Shot: Deals moderate ranged damage and inflicts "Confused" status upon target (50% hit rate)
Scope: Increases accuracy by 1/2.
Trigger-Happy: Deals average damage numerous times increasing speed but lowering accuracy.


Advanced:

Mourner: Deals heavy ranged damage and inflicts "Death" status upon target (50% hit rate)
Sonic-Boom: User deals heavy damage to all enemies.
Eye of God: Sacrificing all speed, the user can triple its accuracy for one attack.
Golden-Bullet: User deal tremendous ranged damage to one enemy (can be used once per fight)


White Mage

Basic:

Cure: Heals ally or user for average damage,
Esuna: Removes afflicions from user or ally.
Dispel: Removes enemy buffs.
Pray: heals all allies for minor damage.


Moderate:

Cura: Heals ally or user for moderate damage
Shell: Reduces magi damage for one ally or user.
Reflect: Reduces ranged or melee damage for one ally or user.
Life: Revives one ally.
Regen: Heals the ally every turn automatically for 3 rounds.
Holy: deals moderate holy-magi damage.


Advanced:

Curaga: Heals ally or user for heavy damage.
Mega-Shell: Reduces magi damage for whole party.
Mega-Reflect: Reduces ranged or melee damage for whole party.
Full-Life: Revives ally with full health.
Holyaga: Deal heavy holy-magi damage to all enemies.
Bless: Heals the whole party for moderate damage.


Summoner

Basic

Summon: Allows the user to summon a monster they have bonded with.
Summon-Attack: deals moderate damage using their summon.
Summon-Defend: Defends themselves using their summon.
Summon-Magi: Allows summon to use previously learnt Magi skills.
Ghostly Claw: The user deals average holy-melee damage.


Moderate:

Bond: Allows to user to bond with a enemy. (Can only be used once per 5 posts)
Tame: The user deals heavy damage to previously Bonded enemys.
Bear-Spirit: Raises summons attack by 1/2.
Tortoise-Shell: Raises summons defence by 1/2.
Ghostly Crow: The user deals moderate holy-melee damage.


Advanced:

Multi-Summon: The user can summon two summons at one time to fight for them.
Tri-attack: The user can summon 3 summons for one turn for a multi-attack. The summons are returned after the attack.
Aeon's Blessing: Raises summons stats by 1/2 for one turn.
Ghost Slayer: The user deals heavy holy-melee damage.


Crafter

Basic:

Craft: Using pre-obtained materials, the user can craft an item.
Use: The user can use craft-special items such as throwing axes and disposable weapons.
De-craft: The user can de-craft an item to obtain its original materials. This move instantly kills weak mechas.


Moderate:

Share: The user can make items for other people, raising the users attack by 1/4.
Alchemy: The user can make potions.
Smith: The user can create armor.
Recycle: The user deals moderate ranged damage.


Advanced:

Humble: The user creates party-use items which raises all his stats by 1/4.
Theivery: The user can use theif-special items.
Swordsman: The user can copy "Warrior" and "Sniper" class moves used by allies.
Transporter: The user can craft vehicles.


Time Mage

Basic:

Delay Attack: Deals average damage and delays enemy movement
Haste: Speeds up the user or a party member (Double Speed)
Slow: Slows down and target (Half Speed)
Gravity: Deals minor elemental damage to the enemy team



Moderate:

Delay Buster: Deals moderate damage and greatly delays enemy movement
Hasteara: Speeds up user and another party member (Double Speed)
Slowara: Slows down two targets (Half Speed)
Demi: Reduces target Hp by 1/4 (60% hit rate)
Time Stream: Deals moderate elemental damage to the enemy team


Advanced:

Sheild Crash: Removes immunity from Slow/ara/aga on a target
Hasteaga: Speeds up entire party (Double Speed)
Slowaga: Slows down the targets party (Half Speed)
Demiaga: Reduces target Hp by 1/4 (100%)
Time Bomb: Auto-Casts Slow on the next target that melees the user.


Mystic Knight

Basic:

Sword Of Fate: Increases damage with a sword. (Doubles Attack, Can Be Used With Sword Only)
Axe Of Fate: Increases damage with a Axe. (Doubles Attack, Can Be Used With Axe Only)
Spear Of Fate: Increases damage with a Spear. (Doubles Attack, Can Be Used With Spear Only)
Gun Of Fate: Increases damage with a Gun. (Doubles Attack, Can Be Used With Gun Only)
Heavy Slash: Deals moderate melee damage at the cost of speed and accuracy reduction


Moderate:

Charge: Raises the users or allys attack at the cost of defence reduction
Endure: Raises the users or allys defence at the cost of attack reduction
Sigil Of Elindel: A holy charged sword attack which deals heavy melee damage
Glyph Of Rondolf: Charges the users weapon for 3 turns, doubling its stats


Advanced:

War Cry: Doubles partys attack for 1 round
Barricade: Doubles partys evasion and defence for 1 round
Ethenors Wrath: A holy charged melee attack which deals tremendous damage
Wings Of Haste: Triples the users speed and evasion for one round


Ranger

Basic:

Hunt: Deals average melee damage and raises user Hp
Absord: Absorbs Hp from a target
Trap: Deals moderate affliction damage to the next enemy who performs a melee skill
Resource: Allows the user to carry double the amount of items
Alchemy: Allows user to make potions


Moderate:

Scavenge: Deals moderate melee damage and raises the users Hp.
Leech: Absorbs targets Hp and Mp (Requires Absorb to be learnt)
Magi-Trap: Deals moderate affliction damage to the next enemy who performs a magic skill
Camoflauge: Renders the user invisible for one round, preventing them from being attacked/attacking, traps can be used
Range-Trap: Deals moderate affliction damage to the next enemy who performs a Ranged skill


Advanced:

Secret-Power: Deals random damage and heals ranomd Hp according to the enviroment.
Root-Infusion: Converts Hp into Mp and visa-versa
Master-Trap: Deals heavy affliction damage to the next enemy who performs any skill
Mass-Trap: Deals moderate affliction damage to all enemys if they use a skill next round
Paralyze-Trap: Causes the next person to attack, to freeze for one round (Both Friends And Foe)
Jack-In-The-Trap: Afflicts a random status on the next person to attack (Both Friends and Foe)

Uh dude, can you see the skill section , the skills you can use for your class are there, you cannot make up skills.

Emp, you can post being knocked out, but for one round you cannot attack, if you are attacked again, you die.
