Hitomi no Catoblepas

The story of a guy named Tokio, who's a descendant of a legendary family of youma (demon) fighters. He has the ability to freeze time because of the youma he has in his eye, Catoblepas. One day, he encounters a girl who became a target of a demon. Tokio, with his eye, will try to prevent the girl from becoming another victim of a string of mysterious events that have occured in the town as of late. Little does the girl know that Tokio is her next door neighbour.

I think this has very much potential as a good series. Another good one I didn't see up...

Any critics, predictions, and such?

I'm putting my comment in a spoiler tag.Yeah because his hands are like claws now, which is awesome. It kind of reminds me of how Kazuma from Scry-ed, I forgot where the dash went so..., how he got the whole body armor.

I think he absorbed the spirit, after the incident showed about his past because I remember it being used, or something like that, kind of like how if gas sprays on you some will be inhaled no matter how hard you try not to, well without equipment anyway.

I can't beleive they ended it so soon....

They say that was the end....but they said a second volume was going to be released nov. 2nd, so do they mean they're going to put the remianing chapters into a volume, or is it reallly not the end?

Darn it...it seems to be the end of such a potentially fantastic series.

i think that it is a good manga...but there is only fifteen chapters to start off with....there is more to come..
