Ep 12 is out in crunchyroll. Ryuuji and Minori have a fight. Poor Taiga, her father didn't come to see their play. I wonder whats the reason Minorin was emotional about Taiga's father coming back to see Taiga?

I just watched it, and it was (for a change) a really good episode!
Damn, it was most of time quite sad, but there was still some cute moments (Taiga was really cute when Kitamura ate her crepe)
But Ryuuji still doesn't understand that he's the one not right here, damn, I'm disappointed in her father, I thought he was more honest (and having a fight between Ryuuji and Minorin was really interesting...)
Damn, waiting a week is long...

I watched it! the crepe scene was like the funniest thing of my life...this was a funny episode, it made me chuckle quite a bit

the scene which I am waiting for is already out in the anime before it got translated in the light novel..

Well, I prefer atching the anime first in the end (anyway, it's ben long since the anime is ahead, I don't read the volume 5 and 6 chapters already translated since I want the voume 4 to be coplete before...so it's been already 2 episodes since I'm "spoiled")
And well, since the Light novel is the most complete work, I prefer keeping it in last (less disappointement like this...I won't make the error of Suzumiya Haruhi twice >.<)
And anyway, the anime will keep on getting head since now it's confirmed there is 25 episodes...it'll surely reach the end of the Light Novel soon (...beh fillers, why didn't they stopped at 13 episodes...)

The new episode is out and subbed, and I still think this anime would have ben able t perfectly end with 13 episodes instead of adding 12 other which may have fillers.

Anyway, about this episode, damn cute would be the 2 word describing it!
Taiga in the Queen of the highschol was really pretty, and the whole reflection of Ryuji on his actions and Taiga's father were trully good...and those 2 ending with Ryujii+Minori and Taiga+Kitamura were excellent (lol at Minori wondering if she's lesbian >.<)
I would wish for more awesomeness like this (damn, I thought the President would confess to Kitamura or such but she didn't T.T)

So, I fell in love with the anime and I'm reading the manga and I noticed this was place in ecchi.
I mean at times it is a little perverted but it's not that bad. Generally, I stay away from ecchi, however this series has only been perverted in two spots. When they went to the sea, and the towel scene and the removable inserts to her bathing suit.

So was this a mistake or is this really considered ecchi?

I agree. It's a school life, romance Shounen manga, but it has very minimum ecchi, and it's still good( kind of like ToAru).....

It doesn't seem like it's the end, so I'm guessing there are going to be 24 episodes..... (maybe not)

For season 2, there mght be, not sure, but from the pace of the anime, it's going to take quite a while for enough novels to come out for a second season.....

It is still ongoing. The next episode will air on thursday January 8, 2009 , at the usual time (1:20 am in Japan).

It will nor air on January 1 because that is New Year, obviously^^.

Talking about Toradora..the volume 6 is completly tranlasted...I wonder if I should read it even if I'm still during the unfinished volume 4...
And even if a new Novel was to be released, I doubt it would be added in the anime since they already finished thinking about the storyup to the 25th episode probably, they can't change it now (...hmuh I hope they won't mess up with the fillers)

Well there is a chance that the author already talked with the anime producers about the recent volume, so there is a chance that it will be added. But it all depends on the pace of the manga and how farthe producers are willing to go..... They still have 12 more episodes left, so anything could happen. I just hope they don't start going offtrack and start creating a different storyline just because they are caught up with the LightNovel

Hmuh, there is this case indeed, but if the volumes isn't released before the anime, I would find it somehow strange to be spoiled about the original story in one of the adptations...
Well, considering the 2 fillers we already had before, it could be some good one...or they can still make some episode based on the spin-off novel or the chapter showing the freshman in teh Student Council...(an occasion to see more of the President of the Student Council >.<)

I think it would have been better is they only had 13 episodes, since there are only 8 or 9 volumes of the novel.... If not, they should have controlled their pace by making the earlier part longer.(confession in just 2 episodes was way too fast.)

Well, I can only agree with this point. I was a bit disappointed to learn that it'll continue for more episodes at first, furthermore when you consider how good the 13th episode was (perfect for an open ending, and then leading to a second season later on when there is more material to work with)
And indeed, the beginning episodes were way too fast, the first Novel was done in 2 episode, and all of this for adding 2 filler episode right after (they were good...but it's still strange)

Hell yeah Episode 14. All in all this is a nice episode. The only problem is as more and more episodes I watch the more I'm leaning to a RyuujixAmi love match instead of a RyuujixTaiga. This episode actually shows Ami's caring side, she tries to console anyone that's been feeling down however it was Ryuuji who made her smile when she was depressed, calling her childish instead of Mature made her happy. Kitamura is depressed and it looks the anime is already on Volume 6 of the light novel, I haven't read all the chapters of Volume 6 (finally got tired of waiting for volume 4 & 5 to finish) but I do know a bit of what the plot is, I'm not gonna tell spoilers but expect a lot of Kitamura moments.

i know what you mean! I see the RyuujiXAmi thing too. Only for me its really subtle. But it's the return of the Palmtop Tiger of Happiness, and the first-year in the student council appeared again (though, his introduction was rather short, I would have like to see the whole moment with him trying to touch Taiga before).

On the other hand, it looks like Minorin is worried about Takasu's feeling for her (since she thought of him having the photo of them together wouldn't be a "good" thing), and Yuri-sensei...is as always depressing over the fact she's unmarried ^^

Ami had some good development in this chapter, showing more and more "liking" towards Ryuuji (she may really have fall for him...), and Kitamura...finally had a confession from the Student Council President? Actually it might be that Kitamaru is the one that has a crush on the council president but was rejected. Not sure which one is true.:confused: well we'll find out on the new episodes.

Ah yeah, to can be like that, but since she was the one saying first she had something to tell him, I assume it was like that (though, she may have told him something completly unrelated, like a matter for the Student Council or such...)

14 is not a filler, though it isn't exactly the same...i don't know where the touching Taiga thing came in:confused:

Ah, so it's not completly a filler (well, the part between Kitamura and the president of the Student Council looked cannon at least).
The "Palmtop Tiger of Happiness" comes from the Light Novel as well. I think it was at the end of volume 2 or 3, there was a spin-off introducing the younger member of the Studen Council, a first year (which we saw in this episode) and he was trying to touch Taiga for finding hapiness (Taiga is referring to it by the way)

Yes however the light novel is lagging behind the anime. I finally grew tired of waiting for volume 4 & 5 to be translated that now I'm reading volume 6.:P

I dunno, i'm thinking thats a matter of opinion because i have read the first few chapters of the light novel, and then i skipped a bunch til i got to the point where the manga takes off....and still my favourite is the manga, then the anime, then the novel.

Thats not i don't like the light novel it's just not my favourite form..when the series is done i'll reread/re-watch all of it...and then i'll come to my conclusion on which is actually best.

I also really like the art of the manga, i think it looks quite good so that might be one reason why the manga is my favourite..

well did u ever see any adaptions being better than the original work?
i've never seen it, and my opinion is that adaptions will never be better than the original.

though it's a bit late.. in episode 9. did you notice when takasu was mentioning about the ghosts?

maybe it's the disposition of both taiga and ami towards takasu?

this series makes me wanna go back to my high school days. damn. it feels like i didn't experience good things that much. or i didn't appreciate it that much. i'm envious. that feeling of falling in love. without rational thinking. having friends and spending time with them. it's good to be a child. in reality, being an adult is so rigid because you have to 'act' like an adult. anyway, i'm turning 23 now. do you think that's too old?? ^_^
who here wants to go back to their high schools?

haha.. anyways. the light novel is good because it is the original plot. every bit of detail of what was happening is laid out (except hidden meanings that we must figure out), imo, these bits and pieces, how much they look insignificant adds color to the story. The manga is also good because we it visualizes the LN. and as of what i read, it faithfully follows the original plot. On the other hand, the anime is also good, we have the movements, color, music and the soundeffects which supersedes the monotony reading the light-novel and manga. But the anime, had a slightly different storyline, which is not bad. actually it's good. so for me, i can't consider any form much better than the other. ^_^

when i watched the anime, there are two things that i felt that i didn't feel while reading the light novel. one, taiga can sometimes really be annoying when she have her tantrums. and i can also root for amiXtakasu pairing in the recent eps. i don't know. in the anime, she seems more fit because she has changed. and i didn't get that impression in the light novel.

so for you young ones out there, cherish your times. :D

i wonder, if and only if, since it won't happen, when these kids (takasu, taiga, etc.) grow up, how would they look back to their highschool lives. ^_^

and yup, neonrose was right! a lot of crucial events was taken out from the eps.. oww..

there should have been a lot more that takasu said to ________, and it made an understanding between them.
they should have met ami, ami's part was another development.

I don't think the OST is out already...at least I don't remember seeing any apart from the opening and ending...provavly when the anime will be finished there will be one properly released.
I have yet to watch the new episode, it's download, but I haven't had time for now.
Well, I don't think there is people having such an active high-school life in RL...that's like a dream world (I don't complain about my high-school days though, it was really fun back then...i missed it somehow >.>)

And regarding the matter of prefering the anime/manga/novel...well, it's just like I'm alike Ruggia, I often prefer the original, and Toradora falls in this categorie...it's just that I always prefer the most complete version (though, there is some animes that are awesome like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei...even though it's a manga first, but there is less episodes than chapters so...)
But I do agree that the manga as really cute drawings (far better than the few illustration in the Light Novel...)

haha, i don't want to be rude or anything but I'm still in my High School Days...i'm in grade 12 now.. T.T its coming to an end(though i am going for a victory lap >.<). Still somehow I don't feel like I'm ever really going to become very adultish in the future...i'm not saying its not going to happen..but i just cant even think about it now..

(for only two months, they broke up) ^^
he had a band, in his last year of high school,
and performed in school activities, theaters.
and yeah, he has attracted several girls since he is nice..
but still he is not that popular. just a normal highschool student.

i've watched ep15 and a couple of things were taken out from the light novel.but when i think about it, the author is making things much clearer so that the ending will be much more concrete. i guess it's hard to mold the story towards it's ending with only a few episodes left.

Since I stil didn't read the next volume of the LN I don't know what has been removed, but I think I may skip the volume 4 and read volume 5 and 6 since they are near completion.

Anyway, regarding this episode...first reaction was...

Oh well, I hoped we would saw more of the Studen Council President but that was good enough >.<
Apart from that, the episode wasn' bad, though I wasn't a fan of Kitamura's reaction (I tend to react somehow like Ami did...). Oh well, there was a lot of Taiga's moment when she's looking at Kitamura so it was fun (and a cute moment Taiga and Ryuji when they were watching the stars)

Just to clarify, Kitamura was crying in his sleep when Taiga looked as his face though in the light novel Kitamura put ice bags around his pillow so that the melted water covers the tear soaked pillow.

yeah, i've read/watched all three and i find that the anime is leaves a bunch of stuff out from the light novel, so far (though it's not very far a long) i find that the manga is pretty close to the light novel. I love the manga the best.

Just watched ep 16. So I was right. Kitamura is in love with the council president. lol Poor Kitamura, The number one pitiful guy.:lol: This anime just turned violent, I can't believe girls can fight like that.:eek: It's even brutal than a fight between guys.:eek: Wonder what Minorin is guilty about?:confused: It's either two things:

I not quite sure either. I think she knows Taiga has some sort of feelings toward Ryuuji, so it could very much be possible she is guilty about that.

Ami is pretty much the viewer (at least thats I think). That's why they make such a big deal about her being Mature in episode 14. Ami pretty much has a grasp of everyone's feelings toward everyone.

1.) Ami (along with the rest of the school now) knows about Taiga feelings toward Yuusaku.

2.) Ami had a general idea about Yuusaku feelings toward the the President, she knew as much as the viewer knew. The Hint is that she confronted President after Yuusaku dyed his hair. (Taiga also figured out Yuusaku's feelings toward the President, thats why she hated her so much)

3.) Ami figured out that Ryuuji liked Minori on the day of the villa, its likely she knew before then.

4.) Ami realized Minori basically learned the Ryuuji likes her from the picture he chose. That's why she gave her a speech about that: pictures are just pictures, and she didn't care who had one of her. [THEORY] Ami must have realized that Minori was feeling guilty at that time, thats why she gave Minori the speech. Because she realized this, she also hid the 2nd picture from Minori.

5.) I also think that Ami see the brother sister relationship between Taiga and Ryuuji. Although there are hints that it is definitely something more, Taiga and Ryuuji see each other as really close friends. Although I'm not quite sure what Ami's perspective is on that.

The Question is what is Ami feelings. Its clear she like Ryuuji in some what but its not exactly clear. Part of it is likely that Ryuuji is the one guy that treats her like a normal teenager and not a model. Also its hinted that She like Ryuuji because hes also someone she can't have. In Episode 14, Her friends are talking about her and say she can have any boy in the school. That moment she notices Ryuuji walk into the grocery store. (The Producer hint at why one of the reasons why Ami likes Ryuuji)

I agree. I think she respects Ryuuji more then she respects anyone else. There is a little bit of something between Her and Ryuuji; However, Its likely because they see each other as 'equals' then anything else.

Nothing much happened in this ep though. And also theres a new op and closing song but I still prefer the old ones. I've been reading the comments on videos in veoh.com posts and one guy theorized that Minorin devoloped feeling for Takasu, but she never expressed them due to her thinking that Taiga liked Ryuji. Which is why she felt guilty ( I think.) In recent events Taiga shows that she really likes Kitamura and now that the path is open for Kushieda, she's kinda confused and doesn't know what to do.

In my opinion, Ami, being the mature one, knew what was about to go down.

Well, I guess Taiga's feelings for Kitamura weren't obvious to everyone up until now. Even if they were suspicious, they would probably still wait until it was confirmed like in ep 16.

Ah, it's because when you say Taiga in Japanese, it's the same as "Tiger" in phonetic (well, there is maybe the "r" of tiger in the end, but since you don't clearly hear it, it's just similar)

Actually, the fact that this girl liked Maruo was more or les hinted since the first volume...though, the anime didn't show her a lot, except when she's with Ami. But in the first moments of the novel when Takasu was starting to meet with Taiga, it was shown that this girl had interest for Kitamura already...

I will have to say that This episode really is upping my future expectations. This show gets better with each episode. The plot thats been slowly layered on in the past is starting to get think.

Here's my view on this episode

Ami pretty much gave Ryuuji a confession, but he is too thick to see it.

And Ryuuji confesses to Minori but she basically denies him despite the fact I think she doesn't really want too.

One thing I haven't really noticed too much, but Ryuuji is a pretty thick character. I think part of him understands whats going on around him; However, I think that he doesn't want to see it. I actually feel sorry for Ami now, shes kinda being pushes to the side. Now is only the show sort of ignoring her, but really her real friends aren't really trying to understand her.

I think the anime counter part actually follow the novel part pretty well, so by reading the novel part (which they already translated the whole Xmas arc), you can kind of guess what will happen later on. (Though I really hope that Anime will have a different outcome than light novel)

It would really upset if Minori like Ryuuji too and end up rejecting Ryuuji because she thinks Taiga (hint, hint, refer to light novel) have feelings for Ryuuji, and trying to get them together again for Taiga's sake.

Interesting note, the light novel will be completed for volume ten in March 10 2009, while the anime will be completed on March 25 09 something, so its pretty close for both anime and light novel (while manga is really slow)

This episode was excellent (not that it changes >.>), damn, I actually never thought of Ryuji's relation as how Ami described it, that's quite right. Well, I hadn't considered Ryuiji and Taiga to be together, but playing house is just perfect with Minori and Ryuji being protective (over-protective?) of their "daughter" Taiga.
Hmuh, regarding Minori's case though, I do wonder how will she react she obviously knew about Ryuuji's feeling but try to not accept them for a reason I have yet to figure out.

Damn, the part when the tree as broken by Minori was quite horrible to watch. Argh, I can't decide beteen Minori or Ami which one is the best (I prefer Ami...but Minori has some good parts as well)

I don't know how much anime version resembles light novel version, but I am constructing the whole storyline based on the anime. Light novel storyline just kind of give me a glimpse of what yet to come.

For the most part, I don't really mind who Ryuuji end up with, because all 3 girls have their own good sides. I was hoping he would end up with the other 2 rather than Taiga, so its finally one series that most reader can't predict the predictable. But it would be pretty hard to pair him up with the other 2 at this point on.

So far, the story focuses on each individuals love struggle starting at ep 14 for anime, Kitumra is already done, while Minori is half way done, next is probably Ami or Taiga, and then finally Ryuuji himself. 7 Episodes left to wrap up everything.

When you base something off a previous story doing an original ending is just seems retarded.Imagine if Warner Brothers decided to do a original ending on one of the Harry Potter Movies. A lot of people would feel betrayed and those who haven't read the books will think its out of place because it isn't part of the organic world that the original author had created.

And well, had forgotten the dawing and was too used to the anime's graphism or those of the Light Novel...so I really had problems with this chapter. Apart from tha, the story is still excellent, even if it's my third time readin/watching this moment now...

yeah lol thats exactly the same thing i thought.. of because they meet up in the morning to go to school and they both come from different directions...

anyways i ruled it off with the purpose being she took the long way haha...um to make the plot thicken...

Overall i was so happy with this episode! episode 19 was beautiful! the tears! Taiga's realization! A rejection! and poor minori is traped between a rock and a hard place! oh my heart was clenched through the entire episode! it was amazing!

lol Hayate, that's the big question. I suppose Minorin was still unsure about what to do and went by Taiga's house (even if it's not the fastest road), and so seeing Taiga like this made her resolve to go see Ryuuji and say that for her Taiga was more important than her own self.

Ami's description of the little family play was never as true as now. Minorin rejecting both her feelings and Takasu's for helping Taiga which is lying to herself...

Oh well, seeing Taiga crying sure was sad, but after that even if I like Taiga, I'm somehow disappointed by how it's developing. Sure Taiga needs Ryuuji, but I don't like the idea of Taiga loving Ryuuji (I want him to be either with Minori or Ami). But regardless of my own preferences, the all end of this episode was really awesome...my poor little heart

Oh well, Ami and Taiga singing was somehow...strange, their dress was good, but with that much make-up I seriously thought it was ugly.

The christmas episode in the anime is in Volume 7 of the light novel and yes it is already translated. Next Episode of the anime will fall in the beginning of Volume 8 but it hasn't been translated yet.

Unfortunately in the light novel, when Taiga was crying about not wanting to be separated from Ryuuji but after awhile she resolve herself and made a decision to keep going without him because she was sure at that time that Minorin and Ryuuji will end up together (of course she didn't know that Minorin saw her crying and then decided to reject Ryuuji). There was heavy emphasis that Taiga will give up on her love for Ryuuji because she thinks he likes Minorin. Now that Ryuuji was rejected I want to know what Taiga will do (I don't know what will happen coz volume 8 isn't translated yet and I don't want to spoil myself).:P

Coal guy sub is out. I won't link it, use your own mad search skills. But I will have to say that this show really affects me. There's this sublet layering of plot through the last 20 episodes. And you can really just feel the breeze break through the end of the tunnel flowing in. Its warmer then the area you are at now, but you aren't really sure if its going to be a wasteland or a paradise when you leave the tunnel.

Anyway, since it's out now, I've calm down.

The episode was good imo. Well, I don't like the general direction it's taking, trying to put Taiga and Ryuuji more and mroe together (though, Taiga seems to be doing well...but that does look like a facade only, just like Ami is constantly saying).
Minorin...well...she's stil obviously rejecting any possibility of relation with Takasu so no progress.
We'll see what happens in the next episode then (Oh, and since when does Noto seems to care for the red-hair girl? I hadn't realised it before)

Okay, I'm posting this really late, but I didn't had time for being on OMF before
But the epsode of the previous week was just amasing!
Well, I loved Ami's role (though, on the other hand, even if it suited her perfectly, her odds of ending with Ryuuji are decreasing T.T), trying to provoque Minori because she's refusing to have what Ami can't.
And well, the whole interest of this episode was this ending with Taiga confessing to Ryuuji without wanting to (okay I still don't like Taryu, but this scene was still really excellent with the ending song starting)

Regarding the new episode now..I haven't watched it, it's waiting on my computer now

Oh and the little chapter 14.5 made me laugh a lot, it was funny to see Taiga and Ryuuji trying to cool off during the hot ummer days ^^

Well, in the few hours separating me from the previous time, here I am, posting again after watching the new episode!

Mostly centered on Ryuuji's feeling, be it for Taiga, Minori or simply his studies.
The episode was good overall. As I said numerous time in some previous post of mine, I don't like the idea of Taiga and Ryuuji together, but I must admit the storyline really is horrible, cause I still wants to cheer on them seeing how cute they are T.T
The whole moment with Taiga coming back and Ryuuji trying to maje her stay+lying about the truth was just pretty damn good!

Oh, and Ami+Minori's relation just ent even better that it could have before. Damn, I love Ami even more now (even if once again, she has less and less chance of ending with Takasu)


Oh, and finally, next episode is going t be the long awaited...Valentine's Day!! Yay!

Sweet. I finally finished watching ep 22. This is a good episode. Ryuuji feels uncomfortable around Taiga now, having heard her confession. I like the part where Ryuuji blushed when his face and Taiga's went too close lol and then Taiga also blushed. :D Ryuuji seems to be deciding on going after Taiga if his smitten face is an indication. I still love Inkochan's scenes. And Ami is still content on just watching the whole thing rather than go after Ryuuji herself. At least now Minorin is back to her funny self and quit being an emo. :lol: And right a valentine's day episode next week, seems like Taiga and Ryuuji will take up part time jobs.

Agreed! i thought the animation was a little bit...not ugly, maybe sloppy. However in all conciderations, episode 23 does have a lot of content. Its filled up with lots of plot of to make up for the unpolished looked it had. It was kind of violent...that one part where taiga falls looked really painful...

I was surprised, and pleased with this episode even if its a bit lacking in the prettiness of the animation itself. The plot thickens so much! and it left off with a bit of a cliff hanger at that! incredible! the suspense! mid-sentence even! i am so addicted to this series! i have to know how it ends! but i don't want it to end! oh gawdz!

Well, okay, I didn't wanted the Taiga x Ryuuji ending, but apart from that, the relation is still cute. Though, the way they reacted was not to my liking.
I can understand why Ryuuji shout at his mother, though, after realising what he said there is some other things to do than running away. As well as the whole thing about let's run away for 2 months and let's get married, it seems so not natural for me...maybe I'm strange, but I can't relate in any way in this kind of relationship (and I'm a bit annoyed they never clearly confessed at each other in the end, just saying "let's get married", or "she's my wife" when she's not...)

Oh, but even if I'm bashing it, it doesn't mean I didn't like it, though, it's getting too strange for me when I was hoping for somehing better.
I realy liked Minorin's role in this episode (and was sad for Ami to be only a friend helping in the end as well, we never get t trully learn what she thought)

I also found this episode to be lacking. It just seemed like (as others have said) there were too many leaps in logic for me to just ignore. I was hoping for Ryuuji x Taiga ending but in my opinion this ep left a lot to be desired.


One thing i did find interesting was when i was watching i kept thinking that there should be a yuri relationship between Ami and Minorin o_O

Ah, I usually don't have the mind for thinking of yuri coupling (though, sometimes I do imagine yaoi one, though there is none in Toradora, Ryuuji x Kitamura would be lame for me)
Ami and Minorin...hmuh, I didn't saw it like that, even with your post, actually, from this last episode, it was somehow showing more a Ami x Kitamura for me, even if there is nothing between them, mostly a childhood friendship (hence this complicity)
Ah, and I realise both Kitamura and Minorin were chased by their respective love in the beginning but it turned out since they took too much time for it, they ended both "rejected"

That did make me feel slightly dissatisfied. xD
I mean, I loved this episode for all the plot rapids that it was, but they really didn't give Ryuuji and Taiga a lot of chance to really express their love in words... or otherwise. :P

Yeah, either this episode or the one before it had a LOT of needless drama... I know drama is good to an extent, but it's becoming ridiculous: "YOU LIED TO ME" "USOTSKI!" and etc with the tears and the ridiculous facial expressions and the crying >_>

Don't get me wrong, this series is amazing, but it was a bit much.

My last hope for this series is episode 25. I mean it was going great up until the start of episode 24, what with the steady development and all that combined with such an interesting cliffhanger but yeah as I have said along with others episode 24 was just not up to par

Ahhh i finally finished ep 24 and I have to say its a geat series, love the way the cliffhangers leave you wanting more and how the plot was overall. But like a lot of other people it seemed too rushed, I mean running away? (noooo!) Didnt seem very neccessary. Also wanted to see Ami play a bigger role along with development between the other characters. Nevertheless also anime/manga. Will be my favorite for a long time unless they somehow ruin 25(impossible) :]

The anime has finally ended.......
It was a great anime and Im quite sad that it ended but i don't think a 2nd season will be as good as this.
I cant say it was the best ending but the ending did not dissapoint.
The only thing i want to know now is what Taiga was doing while she was away...

Decided to watch 24 and 25 straight.

Ep 24.
Events are kinda fast. It started with a confession and ended with a declaration that they plan to marry. And Yacchan ran away, it's like she's the kid and Ryuuji's the adult lol.

Ep 25.
The kissing scene was okay, too bad there wasn't tongue involve though >_> And it wasn't a satisfying ending. Yacchan looked a lot like Taiga when she tried to get cookies and her father slapped her hand lol. I wanted to see the reaction of their classmates when they found out that their engage but it didn't happen. I hope theres a second season.

Good series. There's some disappointing moments, but we can't have everything. I think the ending was okay, though as a fan I need more closure.

Man the manga is so friggin slow. I think it will take about 2 to 3 more years before it is completed. Hopefully the author will spice it up a bit.

Anyway, I think it's a good series overall.

That said i did like the fact that it wasn't a perfect fairy tale ending. I thought it was funny how he found Taiga in the locker where she hid in the first episode.

This is the manga and anime section so it is ok to talk about both versions of the story. :D Some were talking about the light novel too ya know.

As for the scans, I think there just aren't any chapters because the OM page (http://www.onemanga.com/Tora_Dora/) says that it is irregular.
There were only 14 pages in this release...... It seems so far behind since the anime just ended....
