I can read it pretty good using a japanese dictionary for some of the words. I've been self-studing it for about 3 years or so Maybe more, but as for speaking it never really hit that area that hard. Plan on doing it but not yet.

Chapter 129 English scanlation is out by Red Hawk Scanlation :o.
But you have to register on their page (matter of 1-2 minutes^^) to be able to download it.

Honestly I don't want to see Celine added to the Harem. More than likely going to end up happening anyway, at least for a few chapters. I'm surprised the alien doctor hasn't done anything, I mean right now it would make sense to find out exactly what is safe and not safe for her to drink/eat. I mean drunk off of either the caffeine or sugar in a coke.

Heh sounds like alot more trouble is going to happen to them. Hate to see what happens when she gets angry.

well , Celine is little bit young , so that i think maybe she wont in Rito's harem , but who know because Celine is look like in lolicon genre that dont have yet in the Harem , so maybe in the end she will be one of Rito's harem

the faster you are the faster you get laid or so they say and well this is applicable to scanlating and leechers will always go for the faster ones since mostly they don't care much about scanlations and such

Do not know which scanlation will come on Onemanga, though. Maybe yours Fallen and Kaiba :>. I also would like to compare the translations..it is like with anime subs..There are popular groups and not so good ones.

Fallen, Kaiba: I posted in the last Thread 2 comments to you. There I said that you should just use spanish or italian scanlation because they release the fastest. And then just translate Japanese-->English and done :>.

Also if you did not see in the last thread the color picutre of Celine.

To the story: I find it awkward that 129 did not started where 128 ended..I find that stupid >.<
I would like to see the first 3 pages on that..and then showing next day Rito walking with Celine..

So 129 dissapointed me with this cut and then more or less randon chapter...did not really include Lala either.

no matter what people say, keep continuing your work. People like me (us) are out there waiting for manga to be released and alot of people use onemanga. Keep doing it until for some reason you die or what ever in your case.

I'll always have support in those who scan manga. Specially ToLoveRu . It was the only manga + Anime that i watched that was not always battles and problem battles ( Bleach,Naruto,those are the only 2 i watch before this lol...)

@chapter 129. Hilarious, funny, awkward. It was very cute of Celine to get drunk on soda....

And Yui is was quite cute in this chapter with her day dreaming again haha. And Celine was cute too, I wonder if Celine with have any other abilities be displayed that could possibily affect the story.

Apart from her and her little dreams, Celine is cutter than I expected. I don't see how could she be added to Rito's harem, she's just a child (if TLR was to turn that lolicon, I would stop a manga, and that would be a first), she's just here as a child of Rito, no more I guess (raah, me wants the ending with Yui, not Lala >.>)

A lot of people wish for reading japanese (at least, that would help a lot the scanlation of manga, translators re the rarest breed >.>)
I would be quite surprised if Yui was the one "winning" in the end, but it would be a delightful end for me...and the fact that a "side" character would end up with the hero

I always though Yami was really cute and would end up with someone but she's so isolated....

I'll be laughing if they made a new character similar to Sven in BC and Yami falls for him

Actually, the president dislikes Rito and for her to be that transformed with just a single whiff of Celine's polen explains how potent that stuff is. If Haruna ever got to whiff that thing, Rito would be tied to the bed for at least 3 days straight XD. Honestly, men might perverts and mmight be more incline to do the deed but when a woman wants it, it's either yes or yes.

Lol I was thinkin last week that Celine would some how grow up really quickly. Maybe if you feed her fertilizer? I really think it'll happen because they left the extent of celine's abilities unknown. And ppl always think that no one else can possibly fall in love with Rito and then along comes someone new to prove them wrong. With 129 we can definitely be sure that celine loves Rito, considering what happened to tenjouin when celine's powder got her.
Even though Im a guy, I still say Celine is the cutest thing ever. She makes puppies and kittens look like road kill.

I would think so too, but they way they said that "celine's love" was transferred to the victim is a little misleading. I mean there are different kinds of love right, so if celine's love is more of a parent love, then whats with the behaviour of the victims?

the best ending i would say is rito and lala get married and everyone elese finds someone and celine as some sort of "child" with rito and lala. but that wont probably happen. i would be allmost sure in the end rito WILL get married hopefully to lala, if not id be very dissapointed

When I first show maumau in chapter 128 my brain said what is she saying? Then I remembered seeing somewhere that very young children add extra sound to their word like Nel in bleach says itsugo. but after looking at the last chapter I releazied that it was just a sound she was making and not really words at all.

no one knows who rito will end up with. right now its leaning more towards lala and i hope it will stay that way but i know for sure there's going to be tons of obstacles if rito picks lala hopefully.

i hope the series will go on for at least 10 more volumes because 12 is just too short.

3 OVAs will come out and to each OVA a tankobon volume :>.

OVA + tankobon volume = OAB (the short term for what?)

It is commend recently. OVAs come out with tankobon volumes.

It is a new marketing strategy.

volume13 and OVA1 will be altogether in a box set , so that if you buy you can pick that box and you will receive both of manga and OVA , and you can buy only OVA because it dont have you must buy both of manga and OVA that in boxset , and it will be more expensive than only buying manga because there have OVA too , and the rpice maybe it will be about 3570Yen (Negima vol.24 + OAD2 price) from 420Yen that be normal price for manga only

Am I the only one who thinks that since Trouble Quest that tlr has become a little stale? most of the newer ep's seem to be random fillers and before Haruna confessed to Lala we hardly saw Haruna for like 20 odd issues and so it's kind of lost it's way plot wise.

Well, she has been in some of them, just not a major part, I mean it seems like she is dropping down to a secondary chr, but also have to remember Rito accutly lives with Lala not Haruna, so things are bound to happen between Rito and Lala than with Haruna.

i will have to debate that. its true rito did love haruna at FIRST, but now since rito is getting to know lala better now, rito has confessed to lala twice already i think, he didnt confess to haruna at all. also rito is always worrying about lala when shes not around and asking questions where she is. im sure something is bound to happen between rito and lala to make a bump in their relationship, but i think they love each other:thumbup:

1. Rito confessed to Haruna TWICE!!! 2 TIMES!!!

In chapter 1 I guess and then sometime later again on a summer festival. Rito and Haruna watched fireworks she wore Yukata and he really confessed there again but the sound of the fireworks were much louder than him and Haruna did not hear.

2. Rito actually never confessed to Lala..unfortunately..

In chapter 97 Rito says: "I...probably...like you....But I do not know if this feeling is love or not."

But he clearly said: "I LIKE YOU HARUNA, GO OUT WITH ME."

2 times!!

BTW. I am rooting for LalaxRito :>.

honestly the best way describe the situation is that, Rito is atracted to Haruna more physicaly than anything else, he does like her gentleness yet she has yet to be really gentle towards him lol. But Rito doesn't know it yet, but he is more emotionally attached to Lala.

Its so painful seeing yourself from the outside like this, its like you wanna yell at the top of your lungs at him.

Summary
At the Yuuki household, Mikan is busy placing decorations on the Christmas tree. Celine passes her an ornament and Mikan thanks her. Nana asks what she's doing, and Mikan says she's preparing for a Christmas party.

Meanwhile, Rito is walking down the shopping district and is cold. He runs into Haruna, who asks if he is Christmas shopping. Rito says he's actually looking for Yami, since he wants to invite her to their Christmas party since she and Mikan are close friends. Rito asks Haruna what she's up to, and Haruna says that her parents are finally coming home after a long time to spend time with the family. Rito offers to go with her, and Haruna almost accepts...but she then runs away embarrassed.

Haruna suddenly fantasizes about her and Rito alone in a hotel room. Rito says he has a gift for her, and before the two kiss, Haruna snaps out of it and blushes. She thinks, (Dummy, like that can ever happen! But it would be nice...).

Meanwhile, Rito is still looking for Yami, thinking that she's either at school, shopping at a bookstore, or eating taiyaki. Back at home, Mikan wonders where Rito went, and Lala asks her about the Christmas party. Mikan recalls the time when she was little and Rito was setting up the tree. He offered her a present saying it's from Santa. Mikan opens it and finds some earmuffs and a scarf. She asks if Rito actually bought these, and Rito says that he could've purchased toys, but since their parents are rarely home he didn't want Mikan to feel lonely (note - awwwwww how sweet :-X).

Lala tells Mikan that she's ready for the party, and while Mikan sets the table with food, she tells Lala that although her parents are still working and can't make it, she's glad that Lala and her friends will be at the party.

Rito finds Yami at the library. Yami asks, "so, are you finally prepared to die?" (note - LOL). Rito quickly tells her no and explains about the Christmas party. Yami says she doesn't like noisy places, but Rito insists that she come. Yami asks why, and Rito says that Mikan will be really happy if she was there, which surprises Yami.

Yami accompanies Rito to the house, and Mikan is thrilled to see her. Lala then appears in a Santa suit and offers Mikan a gift. Lala holds out her bag, and Rito and Mikan's parents emerge from it :astonished: Ringo says that she was in France but Lala teleported her back through space. Saiba was working on a deadline but heard from Zastin about the party. Ringo apologizes to Mikan, and Mikan is glad that everyone is here. Mikan announces it's time for the party to get started and everyone cheers.

Meanwhile, Ringo finds Celine and asks Rito, "whose child is this?" :D

It's a great chapter, indeed. I've been wanting to see a reunion of both families united for Christmas and it happened. I also hope that the Yuuki parents would stay for a while (and get to know about Momo, Nana and especially Celine, loll) If only Gid would be there, the entire Yuuki-Deviluke family would be reunited under the same roof, which would be perfect.

As for Haruna, she missed, yet again, another chance to confess... (WHAT THE HELL'S WRONG WITH HER?!) Although her fantasizing was good enough, but she should have taken that ocassion to confess. But then again... it might have messed up Rito's mood for his Christmas Party, so maybe it's a good thing she didn't confess.

Ain't Celine the most adorable thing of all! And Mikan too, when she was a kid!

@chapter 130, sweet the time has finally come, the judgment is finally came to "who's child is this" dammit now we all gotta wait 1 more chapter to find out. i hope rito says its his and lala's.

im very glad haruna didnt confess because that wouldve ruined the chapter and ritos mood wouldve been like "omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg"

Among all the actions of love and affection Lala has done towards Rito, bringing both of Deviluke and Yuuki families together was the best so far. Even Zastin and the MIB, after hearing about Mikan's party decided to take over for Saiba at work so he can spend time with his family. It shows how greatly Lala's family appreciates the Yuukis and vice-versa: Lala loves Rito and Mikan and these two do express the same feeling towards her and her sisters, Zastin and Saiba work greatly together, Ringo and her husband already acknowledge Lala as part of the family and they are bound to do the same with Celine, Nana and Momo. Despite this is a earthling-to-alien family relationship, neither one of the parties cared of their origins, they like each other and this is what I love about in the relationship shared by the Yuukis and the Devilukes. And to make things better: Yami is there, Mikan's best friend! Isn't that just the best of all!

Now that Saiba and Ringo are with their family, they'll know more about Nana, Momo and Celine, but it would be mostly great for the three Devilukean Princesses since they've lost their mother, I'm pretty sure that Ringo can represent a great motherly model for these three and it is certain that Nana and Momo will be fond of her. For Celine, piece of cake: who doesn't love that little smiling and cheerful angel! She reminds me a lot like Lala when it comes to cheerfulness. So as her hairstyle.

Seeing how well the two families get along, I really don't see how Rito can ever reject Lala over Haruna, even though it could still happen (this is to-LOVE-ru we're talking about after all...) Once again, she had a chance but blew on it YET AGAIN, and Rito's mind was a bit too busy looking for Yami. I'm hoping for the next chapters to come (if the Yuuki's parents are still present, which I truly hope) that Ringo will have a talk with Lala one-on-one as Mother-daughter(in-law). What I want to know is if Lala can transport Ringo and Saiga to their home, why wouldn't they just transport home every night after work from now on?

I doubt it is going to happen simply because it might interfere with Rito and the girls' advancement, but still...

It would only be needed for Ringo since she travels the world. Saiba is in Japan in the same city as Rito's. And yes it might interfere with the girls' advancement towards Rito, except for Lala which Ringo would be one hell of a wild card to boost her chances towards Rito.

True, but... there hasn't been great contact between these two for certain. One thing is for sure, Ringo considers more Lala as a daughter since she's been living with her son and even wished her luck when she left, therefore I see more of a mother-2-daughter-in-law relationship between Lala and Ringo than it is with Haruna. It's even quite obvious.

I'm not against a confession from Haruna to Rito, in fact, I'm roothing for that single event to happen so things can be shaken to a point where Rito will have to deeply think about his position and his place in both Lala and Haruna's heart, as their places these young women have in his. BUT!! I am against the fact that Haruna showing up at the party and I believe it won't happen since she will be with her parents which she and her sister haven't seen for a long while. Although, if it were to happen, it wouldn't make any sense and the risk of Rito's mind being more confused as it is will be great, but worst of all, Lala will once again cast herself way from around these two, leaving them space for a confession and at the same time, breaking apart Lala's heart. Seeing her not smile on a Christmas time, that is indeed one worst-case scenario to bear watching and reading.

Right now, Lala needs to relaunch her emotional focus on Rito for her own sake. Besides, she was the one who told Haruna that even though she'll support her feelings, she will also support hers. Then again... from that we've seen and despite the pink-haired princess's words, Lala has stepped back from Rito's orbit, leaving space for Haruna who isn't doing a step forward in respond of her best friend's actions. If the gap between Lala and Rito is noticed by Ringo, perhaps she can have a talk with Lala so she can encourage her into revealing her feelings for him, or even better, set both Lala and Rito up into a room so they can be alone and have a discussion about their feelings, but again, I am more roothing for a Mistletoe situation which would strengthen massively the bond between Rito and Lala if it happens successfully. Although, when Mikan noticed Lala leaving Rito more space, I am surprised she didn't have a talk with her about her strange behavior. Perhaps this part will be fullfilled by Ringo, I guess.

Right now, since both Yuuki and Deviluke families are under the same roof (missing: Gid), more can be known about each other among these family members and so, it would be more adequate for both of these families to be left alone without no disturbing events such as space invaders or Ren, Run, Haruna, Yui, Tenjouin or anyone else disturbing their Christmas peace. For the first time in the series, the Yuukis and Devilukes are gathered around in a warm and delightful event (thanks for Lala, may I remind you!) and even if Rito and Lala's relationship doesn't step forward after this, I truly hope that these two families can enjoy a great time together, especially since we hardly see Ringo and Saiba.

Just checked the poll and nobody cares abot Run.

Run's cute and her love for Rito is as sincere as anyone's, but she has a few things working against her. First off, she's pretty conniving, and in a cast full of very sweet girls (even Yui is sweet once you get past her tsundere exterior). Also, her tendency to turn into Ren at any given moment would definitely make her a challenge to be with.

I'd rather call that a great inconvinience. This is out of the context, but let me say an example:

Rito and Run are going out together and they're happy as ever. They go home, in their bedroom, things get really exciting. One thing follows another and they engaged sexual intercourse and... ATCHOOM!! She sneezes and found himself with Ren.

Loll, I bet the author has thought of that many times over, I'm pretty certain of that.

i think lala is TOO nice towards haruna. i mean lala's so nice she even moved out of the closet JUST for haruna. haruna is just in the way of everything. its her fault she cannot confess and she shouldn't try to take out the conpetition because she is too scared to confess. haruna is nice, but she shouldnt just confess and expect lala to feel "sorry" for her, and which she did and gave rito some space. haruna's confession to lala did have a negative impact which resulted in lala moving to the roof.

accutly Haruna tried to bow out and wasn't wanting to get into Lala way, but it was Lala who incourged her to confess to Rito. So it isn't Haruna's fault at all.

Also Lala destaining herself from Rito may be a good thing, I mean really Rito was pretty much getting suffocated. And really wasn't allowed to be by himself at school sure there looked like there where a few days that he was able to get away.

He was getting suffocated by Lala's attention, although I'd agree with you on that if we were still in the chapters between 1-80. Lala matured along the series and last time I checked, Rito never showed signs recently of him getting sick of Lala's attention towards him.

Haruna might have wanted to encourage Lala's love instead of her own feelings, but Lala encouraged her to confess with pure kindness out of her heart towards her best friend since she felt so guilty towards herself for never noticing a thing. In respect of what Lala has done for her, Haruna should take that chance to confess, otherwise she would just lie to herself and to Lala. The more she waits, the more Lala's behavior changes towards Rito and also the more both of these girls's hearts aches more in patience. Lala has opened the door for Haruna, so she should step in: if she's rejected, well she'll just have to do what she wanted to do in the first place: support Lala and Rito's relationship. If she gets him, well good for her.

Whether what might happen if she confesses to Rito, Haruna needs to confess to him and I believe we've ALL been waiting for this moment for an incrediable amount of time. Otherwise, soon or later, Lala will either feel more pain as she waits for her best friend to make a move on the man she loves or someone else will give Lala a good moral boost about not give up on her feelings for the man she loves which will make her do and say the things to Rito that Haruna wouldn't dare doing.

well I was just thinking considering the New Years is comming up isn't there a festivail during that time? Which may end up Lala giving Haruna a chance to confess. (It would be really sad if when she was confessing fireworks woudl go off and drow her out, then running away embarrassed.

If she can confess, fine! But she better puts herself in high gears and do it, because it is painful to wait for her to reveal her feelings, especially when you count the number of missed ocassions.

Although, perhaps the tide may change if something happens between Lala and Rito during the Christmas Party. Otherwise, if there's something for the New Year's Eve, I hope it would be something between Lala and Rito. I'd find it hard for Lala to start the new year with her best friend confessing to the man she loves. Or just a lovely scene between these two as a new year of hope starts as Rito holds Lala's hands willingly and telling her, "Happy New Year, Lala." and she'd respond with a warm smile and kissed him (or kiss on a cheek too, it'd be cute). It would be just fine.

As cheerful and friendly she can be, Lala will be hurt if she'd witness the confession. Just the fact she doesn't know about Rito's true feelings must hurt in her heart and yet, she still smiles brightly as she's doing everything in her power to prove worthy of his side. Seeing the confession with Rito revealing that she loves Haruna will certainly annihilate her for certain.

Although, when Haruna's confession will be released, I'm certain that Rito won't answer the same way automatically as Lala's place in his heart has now a great important place in it and a great deal of hesitation will be dealt on his mind, wondering who to choose.

Nice holiday chapter with Rito still crushing on Haruna. Mikan's early memory of when Rito gave her something for Christmas. Yami still can't say no to Rito with his puppy dog eyes. Celine being cute. And nice touch with Lala bringing the parents. I hope there is no mistletoe kiss (I know I am in the minority). And what was funny was Rito's mom meeting Celine and asking Rito if it was his kid. The look she gave her son was priceless.

I think Lala will take the win, only because she is the centerpiece character that holds the whole story together. But I would say whoever gets Rito in the end, I will support both Lala and Haruna as they both really do care about Rito in their own way, and both are THE contenders for winning his heart.

As for the rest of the girls, they are fun to see when they flutter at Rito's charming personality or Rito's unfortunate ecchi accidents, but they are side characters for a reason. I personally like Yui among all the girls (even Lala and Haruna), but for the sake of the storyline it will be either Lala or Haruna (leaning toards Lala)

For me I have an idea of sorts for the finale, but take it with a pinch of salt. Here's what I think may happen for the dramatic final ending;

Haruna and Rito will discover their feelings for each other and maybe go out on dates and all, but Lala will be heartbroken and despite saying that she will support Haruna, she will suffer much pain in her heart and decided against all odds to go back to Deviluke. Once on deviluke, Lala's father will flip as he sees his daughter being so heart-broken about Rito and also that promise he made with Rito of not meeting his expectations, he could try to destroy the Earth.

Back on earth, Rito realized that something is amiss, even though he is a relationship with Haruna and in an act that will even shock himself, he will tell Haruna that they are not meant to be and instead will try to get Lala back, with the support of Haruna (since I can never see her as a Yandere). In this case, I think Yami will help him and send him to Deviluke (of course any alien will do, Run or Mikado-sensei being some of the aliens I mentioned (I have a feeling that the principal is also an Alien...but I rather not delve into that thought for now)).

Once at deviluke, Rito will be arrested or something and will be in a life-or-death experience, with Lala's father preparing for both Rito's execution and plans for earth to be destroyed. But somehow Lala will stop her father from destroying the earth and also save Rito, and then the usual confession of love will happen between Rito and Lala. Then later on, Lala will decide that she will stay on earth along with Rito, and the typical happy ending will occur for everyone.

But hey, this is just a train of thought from a dude who reads and watches just too much manga and anime for his own good. The story may go as how I imagined it, or go in a way most of us will not expect. :cool:

Alot of people think the same way you do, that at first he will date Haruna then realize after Lala is out of his life he really isn't happy. Then with the help of his friends go get Lala back.

And it only differs on the details of Rito chasing after Lala.

I can see a conflict between Gid and Rito tho, if Lala does go back heart-broken. To the point where Gid will test Rito to see if he is really resolute about his feelings. At first him being scared, with whatever threats Gid will trow at him. But really as a reflection of the eariely chapters, I see him standing tall, and telling him he feelings, with maybe Momo and Nana backing him up. willing to accept whatever Gid was going to do to him. (which will be considered a tap but more than likely still send him flying across the room. Then you will have him and Lala confrontation afterwords.

I have alot of different endings to this story... (honestly I think one is my favortie one so far =p) I also read too much Manga....

They have liked each for a long time before Lala's arrival, but never stepped up for a confession. Honestly, if I was Haruna, I would have confessed a long time ago instead of waiting for another girl to enter the scene to only realize I could lose the man I love. Like Crisis_Vyper said, Lala is the centerpiece that holds everything together: she lives with Rito and Mikan, she's Momo and Nana's elder sister, she the 1st princess of Deviluke, she's loved and adored by the Yuuki parents, her bodyguards work well with Saiba Yuuki, she's very loved by her friends at school, especially by Haruna since they are best friends, she was the one who gave Celine to Rito as a birthday gift, etc. She has a good and positive interaction towards everyone and her family gets along so well with the Yuukis (we've seen it well in chapter 130 and other ones too!)

You said that Lala could stay on Earth as a good friend helping everyone as usual if Rito chooses Haruna over her and all, but how would you feel if the you were to live in the same house with the man you love that is going out with your best friend? It would be hard to bear seeing both at home and at school. Also, you were asking what would Haruna feel if the man she loves stayed with an alien: first of all, despite being an alien, Haruna considers Lala as her best friend and when she confessed to her that she had feelings for Rito, she even replied that she'd rather support Lala's relationship towards Rito (which Lala was okay with, but wanted also to do the same towards Haruna), so there's your answer. Ever since the beggining of To-LOVE-ru, Haruna has been a supporter of Lala-x-Rito, so it wouldn't be a big deal for her to see them together in the ending. She'd feel a bit heart-broken, but seeing her best friend and the man she loves happy together will be okay for her. That's just the kind of person Haruna is.

I bet anyone would except Lala if they were Rito...lol

They have liked each for a long time before Lala's arrival, but never stepped up for a confession. Honestly, if I was Haruna, I would have confessed a long time ago instead of waiting for another girl to enter the scene to only realize I could lose the man I love. Like Crisis_Vyper said, Lala is the centerpiece that holds everything together: she lives with Rito and Mikan, she's Momo and Nana's elder sister, she the 1st princess of Deviluke, she's loved and adored by the Yuuki parents, her bodyguards work well with Saiba Yuuki, she's very loved by her friends at school, especially by Haruna since they are best friends, she was the one who gave Celine to Rito as a birthday gift, etc. She has a good and positive interaction towards everyone and her family gets along so well with the Yuukis (we've seen it well in chapter 130 and other ones too!)

You said that Lala could stay on Earth as a good friend helping everyone as usual if Rito chooses Haruna over her and all, but how would you feel if the you were to live in the same house with the man you love that is going out with your best friend? It would be hard to bear seeing both at home and at school. Also, you were asking what would Haruna feel if the man she loves stayed with an alien: first of all, despite being an alien, Haruna considers Lala as her best friend and when she confessed to her that she had feelings for Rito, she even replied that she'd rather support Lala's relationship towards Rito (which Lala was okay with, but wanted also to do the same towards Haruna), so there's your answer. Ever since the beggining of To-LOVE-ru, Haruna has been a supporter of Lala-x-Rito, so it wouldn't be a big deal for her to see them together in the ending. She'd feel a bit heart-broken, but seeing her best friend and the man she loves happy together will be okay for her. That's just the kind of person Haruna is.

i think rito would definately pick lala or he is somewhat retarded at this stage in the volumes because lala is soooooo kind. im sure the yuuki family loves lala now because of her thoughtfulness and kindness. How can rito refuse lala now, she is soooooo beautiful and always looking bright. Rito should be grateful for someone like lala even liking him. Actually, yeah it should be flipped lol rito and lala's roles switched around would be more realistic.

I agree, but I know is personality type very well, let me tell you its a hard one to live with.

Also another thing RIto really hasn't fully grasped is the fact that it was because of Lala that really his life started changing, he started to get closer to alot of girls and really allowed him to make new friends.

Also what Rito doesn't know is that there are 2 different levels of love. One is the physical, the second is the emotional. And in this scenario, the emotional he is having is with Lala. And the way its coming about really is unknown to him. So I see why he doesn't know. With Trouble quest he had a taste of what was in his heart, but being put under that kind of stress can really hide alot of things. Also Rito is also a shy archetype too, and with shy people you tend to lie to yourself alot...

Alot of people think the same way you do, that at first he will date Haruna then realize after Lala is out of his life he really isn't happy. Then with the help of his friends go get Lala back.

And it only differs on the details of Rito chasing after Lala.

Personally I am a Haruna-Rito supporter when it comes to this matter, but hey Lala is the one who came into Rito's life and caused the many things (both good and bad) to happen in the story. So for the story line's sake I say Lala will get Rito with much certainty. Sorry Haruna, but storyline first over personal preferences.

It is kinda obvious, but nevertheless if there is a Haruna alternate ending I would support it as well.

I have alot of different endings to this story... (honestly I think one is my favortie one so far =p) .

I kinda created this ending of sorts as a very typical ending, but I love to see a very sudden and interesting ending as well, which is why I did not post all the alternate endings I thought of so far. Besides, I think the Lala Faction (quite a huge factions) will be pissed if Haruna or some other random girl stole RIto's heart away. :P

well , the main factor is Rito is too shy , so that if he dont shy maybe now he will have his real couple that might be Lala , Haruna , Yami , Run , Yui etc. because he will sabe love to them but now he is too shy so that he didnt said that much and in the end he dont have real couple yet , and he nervous when Lala wake up because he is still a boy that love girls not boy that love boy(gay) , so that it make he is still nervous about it , and if Rito isnt shy people i think that this manga will be more exciting because we will see more fan-service scene and we will know that who will be Rito's couple

Yami's more mature in a way, but anytime anybody mentions love around her she mostly acts confused. We still don't have any backstory on Yami...I guess that chapter is coming.

Yui definitely has trouble expressing her feelings, but I think Saki was going to confess (http://www.onemanga.com/to-LOVE-ru/81/16/) to Zastin...well, until Lala's overspiced lunch sent Rito running blindly into her.

Just sat down today and read the last 80 or so chapters of this particualr manga (read the other 50 yesterday). Like to put it out there that overall I'm a Rito x Haruna supporter. They're just too cute together (which is hard to pull off with all the accidental groping and... he hem... sight seeing, that goes on in tu-LOVE-ru). Also love the manga itself because there aren't enough shy somewhat awkward guys in manga these days. Or at least, from the manga pool I have.

I just wish that Rito would choose already, or Haruna would confess. Especially seeing as now the only two people on the planet Earth (or any others) who haven't figured it out are him and Yami.

@bleached- true that. And she keeps going from really vulnerable to tough and bossy around Rito because of it. She just doesn't know how to act around a guy she likes.

Well, that's tsundere (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Tsundere) for you...Yui fits the archetype to a T. I personally like tsundere girls (a tendency that has gotten me into some trouble in real life), but I'm not precisely sure why. Perhaps it's the challenge of winning them over and bringing out the deredere side? Suffice to say, though, there are a lot of readers who like characters like Yui. Hell, entire manga have revolved around a guy's attempts to win a tsundere girl...Love Hina comes right to mind, as does Maison Ikkoku and a host of others.

Does Yui have a chance with Rito? Probably not, but they would make an interesting pair...

Yui is a better choice for Rito than Haruna. There's so many cute girls around Rito that Haruna won't be able keep Rito only for herself. With Yui, she'll have Rito whipped.

Haruna and Yui's character design is similar, but I like Yui's personality more. Too bad TLR seems to follow the cliche of main harem characters falling for moe characters. Blah.

*darth vader voice* you are correct! Rito is basically an experience for her. Even if he doesn't know it he's helping Yui grow, relationship and friendship wise. He does that for a lot of the female characters in TLR.

I'm mainly a Rito-Haruna fan because I always enjoy the story where the shy awkward guy gets the girl of his dreams, no matter how he comes by it. but in the end he'll probably end up with lala anyway, this is a manga afterall :). But I guess I'm just weird that way.

i just dont like haruna because of her hair. i just dont like short hair. Rito better pick lala because its obvious. Lala done so much things and if he doesnt pick her, her beautiful efforts will go to waste. like seriously, any person world pick lala at this point if they were in rito's situation. if Rito married lala, it would be full of adventures and fun.

Right now Rito is learning more towards Lala which is good and i hope they keep it that way.:)

Every time Rito sees a naked girl he almost has a heart attack...if he was gay he'd just be kind of indifferent. Also, if Rito had slobbered over Lala like most guys she probably wouldn't have fallen in love with him. I don't think Haruna or Yui would like him either, for that matter. Rito's not gay...he's shy, as shy as the plot requires him to be.

Well Lala mostly saw in Rito that he doesnt care about how a person looks but what she is like inside (personality ect), most of guys (and aliens) looks at Lala's body only and not her personality (they dont care what she liked and what she wants)...yet Rito doesnt much care about how Lala lookes (and she is very pretty) but how she is in general: personality, her feelings, actions.

The thing that Rito is kind towards girls and that he is a guy who cares about them (when one is in danger he jumps into the danger in order to save without even thinking... by instinct) made mostly Lala and other girls grow feelings for him..... yet only Lala is the one who works the hardest in order to make Rito fall in love with her (since she is a princess she has no life experiance in love fields so its even harder for her)

Rito made a crush on Haruna becouse she is cute but the biggest part is that she is quiet and shy....... <-- this confirms the chapter where Lala cought a cold and her personality changed into a shy one.... there Rito was loseing his head for Lala ^^ this confirms that Rito likes shy and quiet girls

Well duo last events Rito might start to change his mind & feelings for Lala and start to notice her more and spend more time with her (and celine)

So personaly I think that the one who deserves to be with Rito must be a person who worked her hardest to gain Ritos attention... not only becouse how pretty/cute thet are (from look) by from things what that person done for Rito so far.... so Lala deserves this spot more then anyone else....

Well what Haruna done for Rito so far....not much....she kinda woke up when Lala appeared at Ritos side yet she done not much things for Rito (and for herself like confessing).... she was pilling up her jelous feelings to the point where she blow up them at Lala the same destroying kinda her happiness (and she was doing so good in that scene with cookies...then she gived Rito water to drink....got sad but Rito made her smile again right after that...so she was more aware of her doing...)

Rito like girls are young and grow random crushes (they first love) but eventualy they start to realize they own true feelings and at the end they make the decission... the one who will decide is Rito yet I VERY hope that Rito will choice Lala at the end... they match each other very well (they are open hearted to each other from the beggining, they act normaly around each other), both families know each other and both accepted each side ^^ Lala is like in Yuuki family from the first meeting with Ritos parents (they accepted her right away).... even Gid alowed Rito to marry Lala (the same for Lalas sister accepted Rito [and they even grow feelings for him too] )..... So I dont see other pairing then RitoxLala (they spend lots of time together and it would be too much painfull for Lala to leave earth at the end with empty hands)

so RitoxLala forever ! ^^

Rito's shyness and indecisiveness is the fuel that keeps this series going. It's best to let him be that way as he matures more and gains more courage and understanding towards his own feelings towards both Lala and Haruna.

yup! thats true , because if Rito isnt shy and confess his love to Haruna this manga maybe will end before 100 chapter because Rito already be Haruna couple so that its no point for this manga to continue anymore , but Rito is still shy so that we dont know yet about the one that going to be his real couple , so this manga still continue
