lol personally i dont see any resemblance to harry potter and negima, maybe negi looks like harry but thats it, harry is too much of a coward at times, while negi can kick his *** in a fight ^^

there is a resemblance between harry and negi: they both wear glasses, both ten (or used to be), both don't want to sacrifice companions, wizards and that's about it. i prefer negi because he is cooler, knows martial arts and isn't completely useless.

im not sure but i heard from somewhere ken made this manga by combine his story of love hina and harry potter to create negima. i dont really care how it made i just glad it is. still no chapter update no matter where i go. man i wish they have it out now. i so cant wait to c negi and fate do battle

But, Harry Potter is a series where it's totally different since magic is more limited in Negima, EX: for Harry Potter(ooo, a spell that can kill Very inventive...) while Negima you need the magic CAPACITY to be able to use spell instead of just knowing how to do it, and how much power you have

Negima is more interesting, I mean Instant movement...(you can't beat that), and Time warping..., its like a mix of tech and magic

the gun is negi's and has magic bullets, it doesn't feed off the user. plus i think necromancy was just reviving the body and not the soul. that way necromancers can control zombies because they have no will of their own.

Necromancy can animate the dead, leach life-force and feed it to the wielder, and sap strength and vitality, but it is pretty sinister, I mean, I don't think any of Negi's friends would even associate with someone who would use powers like that, Eva is different, she has no choice, but to be a vampire, but at least she doesn't use zombies.

I hope there's some other kind of villain, we've had robots, a vampire, mages, and demons, but no dragons or any other large foes.

Someone will probably get an artifact that can create a forcefield, that would be useful.

A Forcefield artifact would be useful, since Negi is always getting beat to a pulp, if he had a partner that could block the attacks better, the white Wing would figh much better as a group, since it lacks in derffensive power

as you see, and also as noted more than once by Chamo,
while the front line is strong in offense, with a good fire support, their is very little defensive capabilities other thatn Negi's wind barriers, and reflect spells, which are not total defence powers, like when he blocked Chao's "blazing heat in tthe sky" spell in chapter 159, he still took significant damage, and Fate is at least double Chao's level.
A power which can completely protect the noncombatants, or block incoming spells, would be a great asset to Negi's team.

Yuna would be good with a gun artifact, Akira would have some sort of water-themed artifact, and Ako would probably have some healing ability. (in the anime, she has a super-energizing formula in a massive hypodermic syringe).

On an aside, have you ever noticed, that for some reason, the few times when you have seen Kaede and Setsuna stripped down, they wear bandages wrapped around their chests instead of bras, like the other girls?

about the artifacts in the anime yuna gots a basket ball and ako got a huge injection and akira got something to do with magic like water or something like that in the series

well personally I thing yuna should have a gun like what you guys think
ako could be another healer well a huge party with only one healer is troublesome in times of trouble
about akira a magic attacker like yue and aya

and about the forcefield its probably good because of lacking defence (though I'm more into offensive person rather thinking defensive) if the enemy is like fate who uses spells its probably good to have one though I think negi and anya have some defensive spells and also kaede and setsuna it still probably good for a single person to have a pure deffensive ability though a forcefield will be to much for defence I think a skill that can be use for defence and use for sealing enemies movement like a wall using the wall for defence and also using the wall to seal the enemies movement rendering him unable to move.

about makie's artifact a ribbon is not that bad she is good with it and the artifacts are based on the users characteristics and we all know makie likes gymnastics and she's good with it

actually if you look back the dont fight but they do encounter a dragon i just forgot which chapter. i was thinking do you think ako will really get healing powers. i mean if you check out the anime when ako in the first negima she use here needle for attack. so do u really think she would be someone who fights or support (like healing or something)

Yes, I have all 26 episodes on DVD from Madman Entertainment.
But, the artifacts were mostly decided by Shaft's scriptwriters, and have no relevance to the manga for the most part, some were based off pactio cards ken had made, like Setsuna has wings, even though, it's nothing to do with the pactio, and that they had not revealed them in kyoto.
and haruna has drawing powers, but draws in the air instead of on a croquis tablet, like in the manga, because Ken made some cards for pactios that don't exist (yet) like yuna and ako.

as for the dragon, it doesn't count because it is not a villain, it just guards Albirio's hiding place, it let them all through when they showed it a note from Al. (it can talk)

I just noticed, but there's a resemblance between Motoko Aoyama of Love Hina and Akira Okochi of Negima!, even though Setsuna is the one who is the Shinmei Ryu girl, Akira has the same hairstyle, and face as Motoko.

And Takamichi T. Takahata resembles Noriyasu Seta, the Archeology Professor of LH, with the cigarette and the beard and glasses, though his hair is different.

I had never actually read Love Hina, or seen the anime before now, so I had no way to compare.

Who is more powerful, Motoko, or Setsuna, they're both about the same age, (well Motoko, was 15 to begin with), but Setsuna's short and Motoko's very tall (I think she said she was 5'8" in one episode)

Motoko seems to have a few techniques, that are fairly strong, but Setsuna is a Hanyou of the Crow tribe, and is skill with Onmyoujutsu spells as well, plus she's had more battle experience, having served as a bodyguard for Konoka Konoe, and as a Security guard for the Headmaster of Mahora Gakuen, taking down intruding supernatural threats, that crossed the barrier surrounding the school.

I'd bet on Setsuna any day.

Hey, did you know the word Mage originates from a tribe that was part of the Median Empire, called the Magi Tribe?
The Magi Tribe was in charge of divination and other mystical related tasks. (People in the ancient civilizations were very superstitious)
Magister is a latinised variant of Magi like the latin word for an artist is Artista. I read it in the translated notes in volume 15 of the Del Rey translation.

I think evas fellings for negi wher at first those of a mother to a child (maybye she has thinked of him as the child she always wants to have with nagi)

I just had a thought, maybe if Nodoka can read minds with the Diarium Ejus, she can also alter memories or thoughts in the targets head by re-writing them in the diary, and she just hasn't unlocked the ability, or is unaware of that particular use of the artifact, that would be really powerful ability to have, possibly more useful, than Asuna's demon vanquishing sword.

nodoka and setsuna are archetyps for a shy girl and a worrier from the drawing style. But there personlitys are not.

Nodoka is shy but brave and supringly agersiv.
Setuna is not the cold hard worrier more a happy littel navie baka(in a good way)

It's meant to be Kaverin, not Kaverine, the e is the first letter of ebonhands, because the character's hands are made of enchanted Ebony.

As for Nodoka and Setsuna's Personalities, they were shy, and unsocial warrior types to BEGIN with.

Nodoka, has become braver, as part of a gradual change and development of character, that began when she met, and fell in love with Negi Springfield. And Setsuna was always stand-offish, and distancing herself from everyone in the class, with the exception of Mana, whom she worked with, it is only since becoming friends with Asuna and making up with Konoka, that she has started becoming more happy and friendly. If she seems to be a bit naive, nowadays, it is because she has a tendency to overcompensate for her lack in experience with regular teenage activities and behavioural patterns.

I'm sure someone will release translated chapters, we just need to be patient or no one will have the courage to translate for us, begging/posting for the next chapter or for faster releases can really peeve me sometimes because think of it from an overworked translater's point of view.(this doesn't irratate me however because we don't have 30 something people doing it. lol)

you guys wont believe this. well actually it is believable but that not the point. anyway i got news saying that the first episode of negima live is being aired on sept 22 (not sure bout the date but that the closest i can guess) in japan. i thought that it was just a rumor bout negima going live but i guess wrong. it going to be a real life series now. what do u guys think it will end up, will be like the first series, the second, the manga? is it good, is it bad, will end half way? what bout the graphics and magic? will the show be okay if negi role was played by a girl (read it from somewhere but not sure if true)? so many question that dont have answers. i guess i just have to watch and see it.

Negima live...I don't think it would be all that great, its just to get those who might like it finally into it, but for fans of the series it'll probably be a dissapointment unless they really do CG like crazy. Maybe do a FF7 Advent Children for us and spare us of bad acting but merely voice acting.

Hey, I'm back after three days, and I have bad news!
(Well for me anyway, if you don't live in Hobart, it won't affect you!)

over the weekend, a major department store in the middle of the main shopping area of Hobart burned down. It is called Myer.

that wouldn't be so bad for me, since I hardly go there, but the police and Fire services have shut down the entire block, No shops are running in the entire Cat and Fiddle Arcade (it is named for a clock which has mechanical cat, dog and cow with music that plays every hour at a quarter to)
means, no anime, no dvds, no bookstore, no Macdonalds, no KFC, no Target, no video games.

I wanted to check out if they had gotten in more stock, but I couldn't.

The only "good" thing is I am unable to blow my allowance all at once, and by the time they are running again, I may have enough money to buy some Wii games.

I can translate some japanese words, but, my Jap-to-Eng dictionary is rather limited, and I know about 20-30 Kanji tops, and they are all common ones, that wouldn't help for names and stuff.

Watching Ah, My Goddess, and I just thought of something, watching Keiichi, eating at a "Nacdonalds" restaurant, and I remembered that lots of mangas and animes like to use slightly renamed versions of real-life brand names,

Starbooks Coffee, Somy computers, and other stuff have been featured in Negima!, and in pictures of characters, that have appeared between chapters in the manga books, I've seen a picture of Setsuna, Asuna and Konoka eating chips and burgers, holding paper cups marked with an upside down McDonalds "m".

Fate seems stronger then Eva from this chapter, I think that Fate could have stood a chance vs. Eva during the Kyoto arc, but he held back a lot during that arc

Fate hasn't even shown his full power, maybe he didn't fight back because he didn't want to draw more attention to himself, if he had revealed his full power the good guys would've spent more time and resources tracking him down, and he'd have had a harder time doing whatever it is he is trying to do.
Fate probably had as much or more power than Eva, but would not have come out unscathed, like Negi beat Chao, but only barely.

Fate has not been hiding under a rock since Kyoto, so if he was stronger than Negi back then, then in the two months or so since then, that Negi has spent training under Evangeline and Ku Fei, Fate would have had to have grown in skill as well.

(in volume 7 Eva said power is something that mages are born with and can not be changed, they have the same level their whole lives)

Fate is probably a haemonculus, an artificial human, created through magic, but made of flesh and blood like a real human.

I had an idea, I thought a manga based off the headless horseman of sleepy hollow could be quite good, I thought of a basic plotline, involving the headless horseman trying to reclaim his head, with the help of Special Agent Crane, and the headless horseman is the good guy, he was under control of a sorcerer who had his head, but was defeated by Crane, and now Crane has put a seal on the horseman to stop him from being controlled by the sorcerer.

Yah, the way the battle starts at the teleportor ports and the way Fate (white-hair boy) seems to have little interest with Negi and his group - tells me that there is a bigger goal in Fate's mind. It looks like Fate have a grudge against the city for some reason or what I don't know.

Negi and his group just happen to pop up at the wrong time in the wrong place, I suppose? Well, now Negi's students had appearly got Fate's attention a bit ... I think there'll be another battle later again between them. I predicit somewhere in #200-230 chapters, we'll see Fate and Negi do battle again!

About cosplay clothes and the pactio cards...I had some thinking awhile and the best theory I can come up (hey, it's for fun). It had to do with their emotions or moods..unless I'm wrong (!)...remember back in chapter 15x where Chrimise don't like the costume on her, so she had her pactio card changed it into a kind of devilish mischief outfit.

Asuna must had been in a very angry pissed mood when the white hair boy Fate did to Negi beaten up and hurt, that her costume match up what her mood is in. At least that's what I've noticed. I do like the knight-sytle costume when Asuna had during the Mahora Fesvial!

As for why Setsuna still have her cat costume, you could be right - ^-^ She must have enjoyed it alot!

Chisame's outfit is the costume of Roulin Rouge from the cosplay competition, the villainess of the "Mahou Shoujo Biblion" anime.
Ayaka and Makie were also characters from the "show".

I don't think it is a real show, Ken tries to avoid real-life things. and any references are censored, either with characters blocked out or eyes covered with black bars, like the Doraemon references, and Colonel Sanders' face logo from Kentucky Fried Chicken.

I wonder, if at the end of the series, we'll get to find out what happens to the characters, like who Negi will marry, and what the characters do for careers. (I can't imagine Asuna delivering Newspapers for her whole life, she is royalty after all!)

I am making a Negima RPG. I need to come up with a story, I can't really follow the manga, but I want to make it sort of fit around the basic premise of the series. Also if anyone can suggest a system for categorizing magic, for instance, Sagitta Magica is hard to give a power level to, as it varies, based on the number of missiles, and then, it would be kind of unbalanced if you could just use all the big guns straight from the beginning, maybe Negi could have amnesia, and needs to regain his spells, one by one.

Any pwroblems encountered were supposed to be fairly mundane, as in, difficulties in finding the information they were looking for.

but then if there are millions of mages in the world, Negi and Fate are probably in the top few hundred with regards to both power level, and combat ability, there are probably lots of less powerful, but older and more experienced mages out there.

You know, perhaps the admins of this forum should create a Negima! forum, like the one piece and Naruto and bleach categories, as there seems to be a fair amount of activity, that we're halfway through our fifth thread, if it could be split up into sub threads, talking about the magic, characters, plot, artifacts, etc. we'd have less disjointed topics, as each topic would have it's own thread.

I wonder if they'll be unable to get back to the mundane world, since the portal area seems to have been pretty badly smashed up by Fate and his mysterious compatriots. Ch 189 is good - now that Negi and his group had been teleported to different locations over the Magic World. So this world is 1/3 the size of Earth, huh? I guess that makes sense since in volume 11 Chao Lingshen did said that she'd revel the exist of mages living on earth to normal people, she did said 67 million total on mages.

About right for the size of 1/3 with that number population and have enough room for this forest we're seeing Negi got in there.

BTW, can any of your people tell me what these Japanese phrases means that Nagase used at end of her sentences many times? It's "De-gozaru" ? I've been wondering what it mean, and also Ku Fei use a phrase at end of her sentences often - "Aru" ... what it mean?

Pactio with Negi? That's a good question - who will be the next to do with Negi while all of them scattered over the Magic World? So far, we know there are now 7 girls with pactio cards - Asuna Kagurazaka, Setsuna, Nodoka, Yue, Haruna, Chisame and Konoka.

Chachamaru might be a good candiate for getting a pactio card, because she is a highly advanced robot. That means it's possible the card would have something technogoly-related. But...that doesn't mean she'd be the next logical 8th. I'm saying there is a good high chance is all.

Ku Fei is another possible because she's already mastered her Ki enegry in her marital arts training. If she did the pactio contact, then with the card - she will be a strong warrior with Asuna and Setsuna. They'd make a strong front team. I think the card will allow some hand weapons maybe a staff or batons?

As for the other girls who followed Negi in serect - Makie, Yuna, Fuka and Fumika... I think they will be shocked to learn that Negi is actually a mage and will realize later they need a lot of help. I'm seeing Makie as the most likely person to do with Negi for the pactio thing.

So, it's Chachamaru, Ku Fei or Makie as being the most likely to be the 8th girl to join the elite group. Shall we put our bets on who will be next, lol? Let's wait til the next chapter to find out!

Funny that Mana should be mentioned here about her pactio card. We knew that her card went inactive due to her master being dead. That means Mana cannot use her card for "power-up" - it's just like a normal card.

But...that do raise a good question I've had in my mind in wondering: Can a person, who have a dead card, be able to "kiss" a new master and get a new live card to replace the old card? That's something we haven't seen yet.

Speaking of that topic, what about if a boy wants to join with his master (boy) - how does a boy have to do in order in getting a pactio card? We've seen Ku:nel Sanders have a pactio card and he's a guy, plus his master is Nagi (Negi's father). So that do tell us it's possible. Kotaro can join with Negi as his master and get his own pactio card.

I'm hoping it's something like a special handshake (maybe a blood-pact like what native indians did in history) between boys - NOT what girls had been doing with Negi - no way! LOL :p

Firstly, there is another method, of performing the Pactio, all it is required for a successful pactio is the exchange of magical energy.
Kissing is the easiest way as the energy is exchanged through the mouth. The other way is by slicing open a vein and exchanging blood, transferring power through the blood, possibly an even more powerful contract than the other method, but as Chamo says when mentioning it back in volume 3, Ick!

Secondly, Alberio is not your average person, he is of feminine appearance, like the Bishonen archetype, I think he doesn't see any problem with boys kissing to perform the pactio ritual, as he doesn't seem to follow traditional behavioural patterns. maybe he ambushed the thousand master, like when Chamo set up the giant pactio circle.

Thirdly, the pactio mana had was a full-fledged pactio, not a probationary one like, Negi's seven. the card still exists, but is powerless, as the holder of the contract is dead, but it lists Mana Arcana, not Mana Tatsumiya, which means Mana must have taken on a false identity, in order to attend school, she probably also older than fifteen, which would explain why she is so much more developed than most of the other girls.

Fourth, I heard Ken is aiming for 36.
It'd be awesome if they redid the entire anime and made it follow the manga exactly, and featured all the characters, without shortening.

I watched episode 1 of the live action of Negima!, and it looks like the cast pictures was not an accurate representation of the characters in show, for instance, Chachamaru has dyed hair and the robot ears in the show, however the acting needs work, as the dialogue just doesn't sound like it is coming naturally, the special fx of the spells and when Negi is flying aren't bad, but Chamo is not even a real animal as far as I can tell, but a moving, talking, picture of a cartoonish animal, that is stuck to something, I can't really tell, Negi's jacket perhaps. and they misspelt his name for crying out loud, who ever heard of a person called Arbelt?

the second half is based on the love potion incident, but it is kind of hard to find out why he made it when he has spent hardly a minute in conversation with Asuna, in, or out of class and they certainly would not discuss the subject in class.

on a side note, Negi IS played by a girl, but that doesn't really matter so much, just look at Nancy Cartwright, who plays many of the male children in the Simpsons, including Bart Simpson himself.

well, you can't expect a real person to have a head like Konoemon Konoe, he must be some sort of mutant.

And how would you deal with Chamo, a CGI Ermine would look out of place unless you spent ages making it resemble a real ermine, but the biggest thing is really the fact that the actors can't act, the only half decent actor I've seen so far are Negi and possibly Takamichi, Asuna, Ayaka, Makie and the few others who have lines in the first episode talk like they are reciting from a script, instead of letting the dialogue flow naturally, like a conversiation between two people in real life.

The lack of anime hair-colour makes it harder to differentiate the girls, though, and I think that every scene Shizuna is in with Negi, make her look like a pedophile, and a slutty one at that.

I have watch the 1st part but its jap and I can't understand a single thing so I just close it but asuna having a black hair and only the pony tails resembles kinda sucks and takamichi looks young for his age in the manga and konoka sure is cute in the class picture

I have read the last chapter also of the negima and negi sure is hassty finding the others and when chachamaru's key is being spin by negi her reaction is kinda suspicious making me thinkg kinda ecchi ( or am I getting ecchi? ) hahahahaha but it sur e has lots of cool dragon their a sky and then the tiger but having a magic reflector kinda cheating and chachamaru sure have hard time battling it if those kind of enemy is present around I think this will be a though one for negi's party and also fate is strong unlike the battle with chao. negi have the same time machine item so the advantage of chao is gone and I think chao has only strong magic but lacks strong spell unlike fate and lacks magic battle experience. And who do you think the first person negi and chachamaru will find? and when will it occur will it happen in the next chapter they are pretty close in finding one?

@kaverine: Thanks for the info, it was interesting since I think it may be horrible now, but that means that there is still plenty they can improve on given practice since many of the actors probably didn't have much experience at the moment. But yeah, the lack of anime hair and the way headshapes and Chamo existing would be quite difficult to manage. On another note, if I remember right the Arbelt thing is likely just their accent.

Well, I'd say its difficult to get funding or make something look natural, such as dialogue or his head, while keeping to the original character. Espicially getting the actresses hair right, I think they were under a short schedule to make the live action series to not be prepared enough to do well, which may have negative side effects. Then again, just because we don't like it, doesn't mean others won't like it as well.

actually, the reason for the mispelling of albert's name is because in katakana it would be A-RU-BE-RU-TO and in Nihongo (japanese for japanese) R and L are interchangeable, but the creators obviously though the first one was supposed to be an R and the second one L, even though it is the other way around.

As for Takamichi, he is supposed to be 30 years old, but he has had light coloured hair even as a teenager, just look at the flashbacks from during the BUDOKAI

If Kaede had fought against the REAL ALberio and not just his sending, I think it is quite possible that she could have defeated him, the only reason she was unable to beat him was because he was not actually getting hit by her attacks, only his sending, Kaede was able to effortlessly avoid most of his spells, and her own counterattacks probably could have taken him down, but maybe Al wasn't actually at 100%

BTW I am running an rpg thread on this forum if any of you are interested, and I have made some sprites of Chachamaru, in her new outfit, and with the sword machine gun attacks, and the flytrap barrier deactivation program animations.

I've started on sprites of Negi, I erased his staff, as in the current timeline it is missing, I don't know if it is back in the magic city or with one of the other girls or Kotaro. I just need to change his outfit to look like his mage robe, I also have a sprite sheet of Kotaro too.
I cannot find the site where I originally got the sprites from though, so I cannot make sprites for Setsuna, or any of the others.

I don't think he was going 100% against Kaede, plus he might have barrier incantations since we haven't seen him do much other than offensive spells or something practical such as teleportation. If he was, then I'd say Albireo has possibly gotten rusty over the years.

About his age, I think he is probably really healthy, because even a normal person's hair color can stay almost the same, with a hardly noticible difference, until their 40s.

As per the rp, I'm interested, but sometimes it takes me awhile to put up my character for rps.

Yue Ayase - Orbis Sensualium Pictus: display enemy hp and weakness
Chisame Hasegawa - can't rember artifact name: ???
Haruna Saotome - Imperium Graphices: summon a golem to attack
Konoka Konoe - Flabellum Australe: restore 100% hp (as FF ARISE)
- Flabellum Euri: remove any negative status (as ESUNA)
Chamo - Ermine Flash: blind all enemies
Kazumi Asakura + Sayo Aisaka: ??? probably something that takes advantage of Sayo's Incorporeal nature and invisibility.

I thought of a system where non-fighters function as a support ability, where you can select one per turn of battle, on top of the fighters.
I don't know if Anya is competent enough to be considered a fighter.

I am making all the spell effects in 3d which is hard, and the sprites are all custom edited, so far Negi and Kaede only have one sprite, so they can't do much, and I am still tinkering with the spell system.

Playable characters will be:
Negi, Chachamaru, Kaede, Kotaro, Setsuna, Asuna, Kotaro, Ku Fei, Anya
Support Characters will be:
Nodoka, Yue, Haruna, Chamo, Konoka, Chisame, Sayo, Kazumi.

Monsters will be a problem though.

This new chapter was more on Chisame, pretty ecchi towards pg 10 or so. She sure was quick to judge Chacha,:D we all know she will eventually succumb to Negi's charisma/pimpness, freaky girls like him now(and a robot)...I don't want to see the future of Negi the slightest bit.

Heh, I agree...actually I'm surprised Chisame get a lot of attention on this chapter. Also, I didn't realize her 'net mice depends on electric energy to stay alive. Didn't her pactio card draw magical energy from somewhere to keep plugged in? Maybe I'm wrong or that Chisame needs to practice her Ki energy to increase better for longer periods. I didn't think I've seen her doing anything in training lately.

Now that we'll wait for chapter 192 - who next do we think will be recused by Negi? Konoka maybe or either Yue or Nodoka... I'm thinking one of them would be of greater help to find the rest of the group. Chisame was about 50 km from where Negi was, so the next person is at least 40 km further. That's what the ch. 190 was saying. After "A" person and "B" are reuited, Negi and the party are supposed to head another 270 km for "C" person then go to the nearest town near the coast.

I kinda new Chisame would be among the first to be rescued. She's one of those people we have seen in action the least and since we had the "new" Chachamaru it was obvious they'd focus on those people first.

So if this continues on (which I hope) we'll probably see Anya, Kotaro or Haruna next. I could also imagine one of the "normal" girls to appear next and have a pactio. (YunaYunaYunaYunaYunaYunaYunaYunaYunaYunaYuna :thumbup: )

I think the four helpless girls will be in for a big shock, we haven't even reallly seen their reaction to their new surroundings yet, and I don't think that the full weight of what's going on has really occured to them yet, at least not when they were still in Mundus Magicus.

You know, Yuna probably has some potential to be a mage, as her father is a mage, and possibly her mother. In a flash back Yuna held a toy wand.

Yuna Akashi is the girl with her hair to one side, that plays basketball and won third place at Mars vs Mages during the vs Chao arc.

The pink-haired ribbon-wielding rythmic gymnast is Makie Sasaki, the Baka Pink Ranger.

As for Ako, she is also into soccer as well as being an assistant to the school nurse.

And nobody ever mentions Akira Okochi, the swimmer, even though she does have a very minor role in the series with only two chapters of story that really involve her in any major way (the haunted house where she got about six or seven speech balloons, and the "silent" speech-less chapter where Negi lost his ring and all the girls were teasing him with it, and Akira used her unusually prodigious strength to stop them and gave it back to Negi.
