I was looking through some old chapters of the manga and I came across the Jasdebi fight as well as when they first appeared. I wondered what people thought of them, separate and/or merged. Do you have a favorite twin? Or, if you want, say what you DON'T like about them. I just figured since they don't get much attention, they should at least be discussed. (I love these guys to death! Hooray for crazy, gunslinging, chicken-loving noahs! :P )

But PLEASE, no arguing about genders, that gets VERY annoying.

They are the coolest people in the series, man they make me laugh. Gun toating fools.
They look like scare crowds. I don't like them when they combine though they get to serious.

Jasdero (ジャスデロ, Jasudero) and David (デビット, Debitto) were originally one Noah called Jasdevi (ジャスデビ, Jasudebi). They represent the "Bonds" of Noah.They posses the power of Materialization (実現, Materialization), which is used through bullets created by the two thinking simultaneously and then shooting it through an identical pair of guns. Their Materialization skills also allow them to create numerous objects.By shooting one another, David and Jasdero can merge together and become Jasdevi. They no longer rely on the guns to focus their abilities, instead using bare hands. Jasdevi's long hair also becomes a weapon and gains new strength from the desire to create the "the strongest imagined body". After a battle on Noah's Ark in Edo, they disappeared and have yet to reappear. They are voiced by Saiga Mitsuki and Morikubo Showtaro respectively.

and i think that they are awesome characters that be something like twins and can merge together , i thiknk this ability is look like ability of Sakon and Ukon from Naruto but Sakon/Ukon can merge with other people too but Jasdevi cant

I really liked how they went ahead and made 2 people for one ability. That was a great idea, and one that I hope other can use.

They're perfectly crazy, that's for sure. But their way of interacting with each other and other people are hilarious. I preferred them when they merged, though. You can see how powerful they are then.

Man when they had that chicken on there head that was classic. The anime side of the house did good work showing there full comedic potential.

They're a bit gay......but I guess that's just self-loving. Well, anyway, I really liked their concept; a noah composed of twins. I'm still a bit confused about their history, though, but I'm sure it'll be made clear one day.

lol it is kinda like fusion xD i love how they can multipurpose as comedy relief and a force to be reckoned with when they get angry. they also are some of the more human noah(s) by showing the "bond" they have with each other and how deep it goes

Hey, does anyone else think that they've been deprived of a back-story? I mean, Skin got one and there is somewhat of one on Tyki. Road, she's supposed to remain a mystery, but I want to see what the twins are about. Like, why the heck they're so insane, or maybe why they got all touchy when Krory celled them monsters (well, technically he called them combined a monster, but it's the same thing pretty much)? Fanfictions I've read seem pretty believable, but I want to know the real thing! Please? Hey, where are they even from???

@Perplexed Jester, nothing much has been revealed as Jasdebi's background. Not to mention that they disappeared after the battle in the Arc.

Yup, Skin's dead (Kanda killed him I think), but Skin's not that popular, unlike Jasdebi who from this thread seems to have quite a few fans. The Noahs will apear again, nothing to worry about, it's just when they will apppear that's the problem :lol:

Yeah, it was Kanda who did in Skin. I never really liked Skin...he was scary. ANYWAYS, yeah Jasdebi have a lot of fans which makes me happy. I think the Noahs will appear again, at least in some action. Remember that we have seen Road, Tyki and Sheryl already, so the twins should come next. I hope.

THis is kinda random, but the other noah were in very formal clothing, I wonder if Jasdebi will wear that? What with Jasdero's stitches and Debitto's...Debi-ness. :D They probably won't, but it'd still be funny.

It'll definitely be funny. But I don't think they're into the stuffiness of those type of clothes. Separately, I can't see them in formal clothes, maybe when they combine, it'll look better. LOL.

Oh theres no way the twins died, they fell saftly threw the door while still breathing so it would be downright stupid for them not to return, they are definalty the most interesting of the Noahs, and as been hinted they have a bad childhood (since Crowly asked if they were called monsters too) They are cooler then the others and I cant wait to see them again ;D

And I dont they will dress formally, they are rebellious-like teens, I doubt you could get them to wear suits, and the Earl doesnt really seem to care what they wear :/

what those bastard twins are alive , well I don't like them since they give Kroly(fave character) a really really hard time though I'm quite thankful that they did cause if they don't we would see Kroly's new Innocence

There's no way in hell though that they'dwear formal clothing. I don't think you can pay them enough money to make them wear something that isn't what they normally wear.

I think their childhood should be pretty clear from the conversations during the battle with Krory. They most likely got chased from wherever they had been raised because of their Noah transformation and got called "monster" by people. Assuming, of course, that they were originally seperate people and not their combined form.

Combined Jasdevi in a suite would be freakin hilarious though. Slightly wrong-looking, but hilarious.

the rhyme makes it sound like the original got his noah powers early and then used it to make himself a twin(at least it sounds that way tome, and i personally think that david was the original cause he looks more like a noah)

They wouldn't be caught dead without leather and fur as the twins and I think a long coat would suit combined Jasdebi, a frok coat maybe? And maybe a ponytail of sorts for all that hair.

As for if they were separate at first or not, I have no idea. That little rhyme of theirs seems to explain that but still, there are still a lot of people who believe they were born as twins. Personally, I think they were one person and when they awakened was split into two for multiple reasons: 1. A way to escape hwoever was tormenting him/them, 2. It just happened and 3. A reason that Hoshino would explain.

I really hope that we get to see their past a little, I've always wanted to know since Krory asked them/him about it.

Is it possible that the original Jasdebi was very lonely as a child, and his 'noah powers' if you will inabled him to create himself a brother?

From how I see the origin of Jasdebi, they were twins, which explains the 'one cradle' if you take it in a more symbolic way, since the cradle is the womb. The Noah was the one inside the cradle, but rather than go into the one baby that would have to be there, there were the two twins.

The one cradle line would still make sense, with them both being twins still would. So, for the Noah to actually come out, they'd have to merge, hence the calling out Jasdebi.
