Hi, I'm new here, but I got to this site because of the great online manga service you guys a provide. Really appreciate it.

Now moving on, here's some of my stuff from newest to oldest. My s/n in my other forums that I admined for was Rasengandragon, so most of the older sigs will have Rasengandragon somewhere in them. Anywho:

Made it because I liked the stock, but probably a little overdone on the fractals ^

Made for a friend ^

Well, I actually had more, but I decided to cut a few out since it was getting long. I might post the wallpapers I've made before, but I've haven't made as much of those. I'm also learning to make vectors, but I've only made two so far, they take a long time to make, lol.

Anywho, CnC is appreciated, more so for the newer ones than the older ones. The older ones date back to a year or more. Thanks in advance.

Heh, you got one of Link. Good job. They all look pretty nice.

Wow. Overall, very nice work XD. There is a lot, and I don't think I can CnC all of them (just from the sheer number), so I will comment on the last four, ok?

19. A little bright. Slightly empty on the right. Otherwise, Ok.

20. Again, a little bit on the bright side. The dot brushing around the outside seems a little out of place. Text on the left could use a little work (I'm sorry I can't be more specific >.<).

Again, overall, very good work. Have you thought about joining the WSAC?

21. B&W. Nice. Render could blend a little better? Just out of curiosity, what does the character on the right mean?

22. Some parts of the render look a little detached.

Wait a second... Do you go, or possibly used to go, to KeiichiAnimeForever? I'm noticing the name 'Rasengandragon' on most of your sigs and the name is sparking some memories.

Anyway, I overall enjoyed your signatures. Blending is done well and the colors are inviting. I would say that you should probably add some more pizazz to your backgrounds, which are bland in some cases. Also, and I have no idea why, but your borders are actually distracting me. Perhaps try different color, brightness, and thickness combinations? I'm noticing PLENTY of 1 or 2 pixel white borders. :P Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, small white borders are fine.

In final, good work and keep at it.

The black and white one? That's a chinese character that means flower.

@x04ty29er~ Thanks for the critique, but the ones you critique were the ones I made more than a year ago, lol. That's fine though. There's always room for improvement. And as gr1mmy said, it means flower in chinese. Some people actually has said it looks like the 'dragon' in simplified chinese, but I don't think so.

As for WSAC, I dunno, probably if I feel like it. Even back in the old forum I go to, I don't really join their SOTW (Sig of the week) contest because you could say I'm really the competitive type, but I'll see. :I

@Zero Shiki~ It's not too hard, it takes time and patience, but I think everyone can learn to make them sooner or later. I taught myself how to use photoshop and never really tried out any tutorials.

@Signeto~ Yea, I was still an admin at KAF up until about a month ago when I resigned. College was taking too much time and I can't really do as much as I wanted to, so it would have been better for them to find someone that was more active. I still go there now, but just not as frequently. Are you still there now or did you quit?

And yea, I've been told they're bland at times. I was never one of those that made sigs that invovled using c4d, so I'm still taking my time to learn to create more 'pizazz' in my effects. At the moment, I'm just better at using color and lighting than making good use of using certain filters to create better effects. But thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

Again, thanks guys for the compliments and critique.

I still go there every once in a blue moon to check out the graphics gallery for inspiration, though.

The sigs look quite nice, and I don't think the backgrounds look bland at all. Personally, all the sigs using c4ds in them tend to look the same to me, or like someone obviously ripped off the image to use in their sig because that's the "thing" to do. But I've always been a proponent of simplicity myself. *shrug* JMO, YMMV.

Thanks, I have been trying different styles, ranging from so called 'simplistic' natural backgrounds such as the 3rd, 14th, and 16th sig from my first post, to sigs that are more effects oriented and brushes heavy, such as the 1st, 4th, 11th, and 13th sig from my first post. I've been leaning toward the simplistic style for it fits my tastes more and its more fun smudging and creating backgrounds on my own with smudging and color/photo manipulation.

A banner I made for my friend's forums. He's starting a fansub group called Nuke Fansubs. I tried vector style for this banner.

And I also draw quite a bit on my free time when I'm really bored so CnC on these would also be appreciated. These are genearlly newest to oldest (and my scanner isn't exactly the best):

I usually use mechnical pencils for all of these since I don't really have access to stuff like HB, 2B, 4B, etc, pencils. Thanks again.

The proportions are off on most of your drawing but they are really nice . I like the detail in your images.

Awesome job on all your sigs as well as your drawings but do you by chance remember where you got that stock of clare in your first sig I have been looking for a good one of her for awhile.

It's pretty common now I think. If you still can't find it, ask again.

New sig in two months:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v397/hybridragon/Yodame.jpg

Mainly smudging and using about 3 brushes. And if you don't know who this is, it's the 4th Hokage, Namikaze Minato.

These were a request by a personal friend after I made the top one:

First, some eye candy for you:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v397/hybridragon/Haruhi-2.jpg

This was entered into an SOTW at another site.

-----------------

Second, a machinima (ie Red vs. Blue style film clip) my group and I made for a class final project:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=JdFitTd-Kas

It was fun making this project, and well I don't know where to put this, so I'll put it here. I might make more of these if I get better equipment (which is not in the near future, lol), but it was definately a great experience. Video quality was somewhat hard to maintiain, but the FPS rate was maintained pretty well. THe storyboard turned out better than I thought.

And I didn't voice the machinima, or make the cheesy title, lol.

CnC for either is helpful. Well more for the first one than the second one.
