This is the Other Pairings thread where you can talk about other pairings, whether potential or not. Examples are Shiki & Rima, Kain & Ruka, Haruka & Juri, even crack pairings and yaoi/yuri if you don't go overboard.

Remember that this thread is only about other pairings. If you want to talk about something else, go to the appriopriate thread or make one of your own.

Remember these three rules:

1. Be nice. Be open to other people's opinions and don't put down or resort to name-calling and other rude behaviour if you disagree. There's nothing definite in VK as of yet so remember that and respect other's opinions.

2. Theories and speculations are nice but be prepared to back up your statements. Statements that don't have backup will be more likely dismissed by other people. But if you want to be silly, go ahead! Just make it obvious to other people or someone might start an argument.

Woot! I guess I'm first to post. Shiki and Rima seems to most evident to happen at the moment (Haruka and Juri are already together o.O), assuming they already aren't lol. They both work together in real life, and also apparently really close even as vampires. Kain and Ruka also is evident, but doesn't Ruka still have some personal feelings for Kaname?

Yeah, Ruka does still possess some personal feelings for Kaname, but it would seem that she has let Yuuki have a hold of Kaname since the reality of everything pretty much told her where she belongs in the mix of everything. The moment Yuuki was revealed to be a Pure Blooded Kuran, that was when Ruka had no choice but to admit that Kaname wasn't really going to be with her in the future as a true lover. Although, the possibility of them still hooking up again in the future is still an ongoing situation, even though it looks like that is an unlikely possibility.

The one person that I want to figure out who they would be good with is Aidou-senpai. Who is worthy enough to have such a loyal follower on their side as a lover? The only person that I can think about is either Kaname or Yuuki.

2. Kaname will kill him before that ever happens. Poor Aido is going to be a playboy for life.

Perhaps, Aidou already has a pre-arranged marriage in the works already. Who knows if he does or does not. I do wonder if he would want to go out with anyone else at the moment, since he seems so fixated on the Kuran Family?

Poor guy, a playboy for life, huh? I feel sorry for the poor rascal.

All of Aido's family is fixated on the Kurans. Remember when we saw the flashback to where our Nobles met Kaname? Aido's father specifically told him to watch over Kaname... basically saying to be his bodyguard. So, it's very possible that they do have an arranged marriage for their son; seeing that they're so set on things (like watching Kaname).

But that is mainly because of the fact that theKurans are held as one of the highest families in the Vampire Society, mainly the King and Queen of the Vampire Society. Not only that, they are a big supporter for all of the Anti-Council families. Without the support of the Kurans, most of the families that now take a stance against the Elder Council, wouldn't be opening their mouths as freely as they are now.

When has anyone but a Kuran opened their mouths against the Council? We know that Haruka and Juuri did, and we saw Kaname do it. What I was getting at was that I think Aido's family (forgot the last name :/) is one of the families that guards and looks over the Kuran family. Who knows? Maybe his parents were close to Haruka and Juuri and did the same thing Aido does.

I don't doubt it. It seems that majority of the events that take place in the Vampire World, are known by most of the other Vampires it seems. Haruka and Jurri were most likely the shining beckons for their generation, since they didn't seem like the type of people that would use their powers to control lesser rank vampires.

I just wonder who the hell Aidou will end up with. Perhaps, it is one of those Night Class Girls that keep making a recurring appearance throughout the many chapters.

Maybe Aidou'll end up with Seiren.....but we only saw her 2-3 times, I think. She should be shown more! I like her appearance and attitude (from what little we have seen). But she seems older than Aidou, and anyways, I was just speculating....All I want is that Aidou not being alone. He deserves someone.

And Hanabusa is Aidou's first name, if anyone forgot. :)

Right now, I'm fixated on Shiki and Rima. They already seem to have a relationship of some sort. I would like to see Shiki's past and what role Rima played in it. Anyways, they're beautiful together!

As for Kain and Ruka, they sure make a good pairing, even though Ruka has feelings for Kaname. I think she should accept that Kaname is all the way for Yuuki and leave those feelings behind, so that she has a chance with someone else. Kain is the best choice, and he sure is hot~:aww:

I think Aido is too "vampires need to marry vampires". Yeah, he paid attention and played with the Day Class girls, but I think that was more just for fun and to see what they'd do. Plus, if he did decide to make a Day Class girl his lover, he'd probably be looked down upon by his fellow Night Class students (ex: Kaname when no one knew Yuuki was a Pureblood). But that would be cute! :P I think Yori is adorable, and very mature.

I doubt that any member of the Night Class would look down on Aidou for marrying a normal human girl. Since everyone of them, except Kaname and Yuuki, has some human blood in them from past ancestors. Most of the members from the Night Class are starting to like the mixing in with the regular everyday humans. So most wouldn't even care whether or not Aidou, or any other vampire, that would want to date (or marry) a ordinary human.

I more think that that vampire just desired actual blood, rather than just the blood tablets. And what better way to get the real thing than to prey on a Day Class girl who is already obsessed with you? And you're right, maybe not looked down upon, but.... I think it would be preferable to them if they married a vampire. D:

Wait, Aidou and Yori sounds so cute! Yori is very mature and caring as well. And about the thing on vampires marrying vampires, I think it would be kind of a twist if one noble vampire married a human. Aidou is that type, since, like you said, he likes playing around with human girls. What if he opposed the vampire community and actually got together with a human? That would be cool, I think.

He would be an adorable rebel if he married a human. :3 Aren't Aido's parents massive hardasses though? As in, they're strict. >_> I can't exactly tell if they would give him crap about marrying a human, because we haven't seen his parents all that much. D:

Aido pairing up with Yori would be very nice and i wouldn't be surprised at all. Although I'm not sure what feelings Yori has for Aido. Or in that case Aido's feelings for Yori.

I believe that Ruka and Kain will end up together. Ruka has realized that Kaname is in love with Yuki, so she knows that she can't interfere. Kain and Ruka have always shown that they are very close and that they trust eachother.

Shiki and Rima are also very close. And i also think they would make a good pair^_^

Yuri and Aidou is a pairing I can't see happening by the end of the series. Aidou seems to like being around other vampires and not humans. He only tolerates being around humans because someone else that is a higher up tells him that he must be nice to humans.

Not that Aidou wouldn't be nice to most humans, rather I am saying that he wouldn't be as nice around certain humans.

If that's the case, who would Aido be paired up with?

I've been thinking if it's possible that Takuma and Sarah are "together". But I'm not sure seeing how Sarah was acting towards him. We haven't seen much of them, so we aren't sure whats going on between them.

Seiren pairing up with someone in the Night Class is something I highly doubt. Seiren seems very matureand wise. So I would think that she could be paired up with someone much older and in the same rank as her.

Well of course Rima X Shiki. Is just the cutest couple and belong together. Rima needs to feed him after all~
Ruka X Kain <3 You know Kain loves her dearly, if only Ruka will get over Kaname and love him back they would be wonderful together.
Ichijo X Aidou >> So cute :aww: No really some new vampire girls need to come along and steal this boys hearts because I dont see anyone that is cute or good enough to be paired with them.
Yori X Kaito .... well I havent seen them interact really but I guess if the story goes furthers and Kaito has good intentions I dont see why not.
Yagari and Kaien need someone too~ Need more nice womens to be included for them.
Or Yagari X Kaien ~ lol they fight like a old married couple, its adorable.
Serien seems too serious and mysterious to be paired up and I wouldnt know with who.
Maybe Serien could make Adiou more relaxing and he could make her laugh for once, then they could be ^^ or Ichijo with Serien since he is more serious like her.

Serien doesn't seem like the type of person that wants to be with anyone else besides Kaname. Serien just wants to protect the Kuran's from any sort of danger that another person may possess against them.

Kaito already doesn't seem like the type of person that you would want to pair Yuri up with. Just look at the way he talks to Zero about the vampires. And when he is first introduced into the VK main storyline, referring to the previous chapter or 2, he calls the Cross Academy school girls "twits" when they were simply talking to him for a second.

Kaito doesn't deserve to have anyone else with him. He is definitely a loner for a fact.

I feel really bad for Aidou. I really do. I just can't see him with anyone but Yori; yes, I am one of those Aidou/Yori fans, believe it or not. Likewise with Kaname and Yuuki, Kain and Ruka, and Shiki (Real name is Senri) with Rima.

If anyone wants to say otherwise, Say so. I am open to discussion.

Call me crazy but, I thought of this whole fan-manga thing...
In my story everything is the same... except for Kaname has a long lost cousin. (A girl)
She is extremely powerful and beautiful. (By now you think I'm talkin bull... but I have her character drawn out and everything. It even looks like a VK Character)

Well in my story she ends with Ichijou... Don't ask
So if that were real, then I guess that would be my fave couple.

But in reality I guess Shiki and Rima, they're cute together =)
