Discuss about one of the most well known tennis mangas out there. Have fun with it!

wildstriker
08-03-2007, 09:43 AM
I'd say it's the best series in shonen jump maz...

Putting that aside, any comment for recent chapter?, especially the cliffhanger from the most recent one when the ball is on the tope of the rope.

Shuyin

Spoiler:

Holy hell. I can't believe Tezuka lost! In the finals! That was his last match. That was the biggest shock of the series for me. That is....unless Seigaku loses in the finals.

wildstriker
08-04-2007, 10:51 AM
Aw..., come on, like I told you before, his loss was very possible from the start, especially when he can't even return Sanada lightning and avoided it at the risk of his arm...

But no worries there, Seigaku wouldn't likely to lose at the final..., just remember that except for Ryoma, everybody else loss are possible in later match :D, of course, they can only have one more loss...

Beney
08-04-2007, 11:39 AM
yeah that was a surprise. i never thought that tezuka will lose to anybody, but then again he lost to the one considered the best player in their age bracket.

Rikkaidai
08-04-2007, 11:42 AM
lol i think u are right coz tezuka did beat sanada when he was little so the emperor has to take back his throne

wildstriker
08-04-2007, 03:22 PM
and he successfully done so this time, cheers to Sanada...

BTW though, about the last chapter, now that I think of it..., the whole chapter is only about one ball going over the net to decide victory..., and we don't even get to see the next set up for D2.
The author did really sneaky on this chapter by adding (pointless) Sanada flashback, then putting up meaningless chatter about the two just to put up the tension of one ball falling down...

CheshireCat
08-04-2007, 05:48 PM
I totally called that Tezuka would lose. Actually, I was pretty torn because I like Sanada AND Tezuka.

What I'm worried about is the match up! Who's going to be the reserve player? Its pretty obvious that Golden Pair will be first..but what about Doubles 2? And frankly, I don't want a rematch with Fuji and Kirihara or Echizen and Kirihara.

wildstriker
08-04-2007, 05:57 PM
Most likely Inui & Kaidoh again I guess, vs Renji & someone random (Marui, Jackal, or Yagyuu).
I really hope to see Nioh play single as he's my favorite player in Rikkaidai, Kirihara can have any match or not even one for all I care.
Then Obviously Ryoma in S1 to defeat Yukimura.

CheshireCat
08-04-2007, 06:05 PM
Ugh. I don't want Echizen to play Yukimura. I want Fuji to play Yukimura since both their lovers played each other. Yay!

wildstriker
08-04-2007, 06:18 PM
It's predestinied..., Ryoma will get to play every best player that is on opponent team If it's not Tezuka and proceed to own them everytime he does :D

Shuyin
08-04-2007, 08:28 PM
Ryoma hasn't played Kirihara in an official match yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see them play in singles 1. Since they're both their team's pillar of support. (Did I make that up? I swore they said that. Maybe it was in the anime.....)

Yukimura vs. Echizen seems likely.

wildstriker
08-04-2007, 08:46 PM
No, it was never mentioned any of that sort in the anime, might be the manga part where Sanada said something about him right after he unlocked Muga no Kyochi when playing against Fuji.

As far as it's being likely, I'd still preferred Ryoma vs Yukimura, Kirihara can face...., hm...., can he just sit out this one? :D

Herr_Secrets
08-04-2007, 08:58 PM
Is POT good? My friend said it's helluh great. O__o. Though, Is it basically about Tennis or what ? o.o .

wildstriker
08-04-2007, 09:28 PM
Yes, it's helluh great, both for guys and girls, I really recommend it for anybody.
The main theme about tennis, and that's basically it, with more and more unbelievable moves as the story going on.
For guys, they can learn off some basic tennis from it, streching and fascinated the unbelievable techniques (good laughs too sometimes).
For girls, they can also pick up basic tennis, then since PoT consisted of 90% guys (with their every own cool side), it's mainly just every girls dream of infinity yaoi.

Fayte
08-04-2007, 09:54 PM
Doubles 2 will most likely be Inui/Kaidoh vs Renji/Yagyuu. If that is the case, Renji and Yagyuu will most likely also have synchro.

wildstriker
08-04-2007, 10:07 PM
Hm..., never liked Kaidoh as well, If this should be next match, I'll vouch for Rikkai victory again..., or let Inui have all the glory for the victory.

Fayte
08-04-2007, 10:12 PM
This was my theory before the finals started.

S3: Sanada vs Tezuka (Rikkai)
D2: Renji/Yagyuu vs Inui/Kaidoh (Rikkai)
S2: Kirihara vs Fuji (Seigaku)
D1: Marui/Jackal vs Golden Pair (Seigaku)
S1: Yukimura vs Echizen (Seigaku)

wildstriker
08-04-2007, 10:16 PM
Replace Kirihara with Nioh, and I'm all happy with it...., or at least he should get some chances in any double match (isn't he's supposed to be better than Marui/Jackal?).

Fayte
08-04-2007, 10:21 PM
Niou will most likely be the player on Rikkai that will sit out.

wildstriker
08-04-2007, 10:24 PM
Hmm...., guess we'll just see then, anything can happen in Konomi's works except for Ryoma's win record, no?

Like Tezuka sweet defeat the most recent chapter.... *evil grin*

CheshireCat
08-04-2007, 11:27 PM
Even though this is totally random and has nothing to do with anything, but who cares? Rikkaidai, even though it was really hyped up, didn't make much of an impression on me. I don't even remember which one is Niou and which one is Yagyuu.

All I remember is that Sanada and Yukimura are lovers and Kirihara is obsessed with Sanada. Or something.

Fayte
08-05-2007, 04:32 AM
^Thanks, but Rikkaidai is by far the best team to watch.

wildstriker
08-05-2007, 04:50 AM
Sorry cheshire, but Rikkaidai just ownz, and next time, remember all the players name before posting then rather than complaining you don't know who's who in your post.

Rikkaidai
08-05-2007, 11:11 AM
i say that rikkaidai will win and the final match will be yukimura vs ryoma and yukimura would win

wildstriker
08-05-2007, 11:28 AM
I'd love to see that too..., but sadly, Ryoma will always win beacuse he's supported by the cheat codes from Konomi to "always wins official matches" :D

mizu-genkaku
08-05-2007, 03:20 PM
i hope echizen wins against yukimura.....well..i thonk he'll win..do you think he'll be able to open the pinnacle of perfection during his battle against yukimura-buchou of rikkai>

wildstriker
08-05-2007, 03:45 PM
He'll open pinnacle of AR MAX when realizing he is in deep trouble in the match, and will proceed to own Yukimura just like that :D

Rikkaidai
08-05-2007, 03:59 PM
i think yukimura can open the pinnacle of perfection and i dont that if ryoma opened the prefection he would one yukimura i think yukimura has a way to counter it like sanada had the in to counter tezuka pinnacle

wildstriker
08-06-2007, 07:46 AM
And to make it more ridiculious, Ryoma can somehow overcome all that kind of opponent...

Rawr
08-06-2007, 08:58 AM
haha, well after all this is Prince of Tennis! The only thing that doesn't happen in this manga is Ryoma losing!

wildstriker
08-06-2007, 10:18 AM
Ryoma is always equipped with AR MAX latest version from Konomi and his fanbase to prevent any loss from official matches. :D

mizu-genkaku
08-06-2007, 01:38 PM
oh well..i guess you're right...ryoma always wins in the official matches..what the hell..the only thing exciting is how they play it...

wildstriker
08-06-2007, 03:20 PM
Yeah, the match flow is what make them interesting, like Taka-san match in the semifinal against Gin.

Rikkaidai
08-06-2007, 03:22 PM
well who do u think is playing next in doubles???? and we might get lucky and see ryoma loss for once

wildstriker
08-06-2007, 04:14 PM
me?, guess I'll hope for Inui/Kaidoh vs Renji/Yagyuu like Fayte suggested, but really though..., I want to be suprised by next match up, even though it come out to be unexpected pair on next issue :)

Fayte
08-06-2007, 07:28 PM
If Konomi decides to go in the path I see him going in, that will be the next match. I can't say for sure because of how random Konomi can be.

(ex: Chitose losing 6-1, Seigaku winning before singles 1)

Rawr
08-06-2007, 09:04 PM
He only did that so that Ryoma can basically get introduced to the pinnacle of perfection... he didn't want to show everyone that Ryoma had it that early..wanted to save it for the finals, so Ryoma can once again win and be recognized as Seigaku's Pillar of Support

Alberio
08-06-2007, 10:04 PM
Haha, Ryoma seems to be too cocky as of late, I think he needs to get beat. Plus he has been acting like he is the **** since he beat Sanada, hopefully he will get beat somewhere in the series again but not by a member of their team. Though that would mean them getting beat unless he is in doubles again...

Fayte, you're from MH aren't you, I recognized the avatar?

wildstriker
08-07-2007, 01:21 AM
He just won't especially If he keep on getting S1 spot (since it's the last game to decide victory/defeat).

Alberio
08-07-2007, 06:39 AM
Hopefully somehow he will lose that spot, but it is unlikely for Tezuka never really moved from it long enough to lose, I just think it is boring/repeatitive always having him win like this. They always have him lose to someone on their side such as Fuji as well which is really annoying, makes their team look TOO good.

Thanks for pointing out my point I think I put too much other crap in there.:D

kris032
08-07-2007, 07:45 AM
eh? the pair inoue/kaidoh is good but for the upcoming D2 i hope that it would be momo/kaidoh or momo/inoue pair... i'm thinking of writing takemura to play in doubles2 but i think he is still injured and has several bones broken.. hehehe...

oh yeah tezuka lost, sux..

wildstriker
08-07-2007, 08:07 AM
I'll take that as Inui and Kawamura you're talking about now...?

Momo and Kawamura will be most likely to sit out from the match though, since Momo is still on the holy mission to search for Ryoma, and Kawamura can even barely keep up with any of Rikkai player even If he play (considering his current condition).

Fayte
08-08-2007, 05:09 AM
Kawamura wouldn't keep up with any Rikkaidai player even at full strength.

@Alberio

Yes I am. (and the same Fayte that scanlated some PoT chapters on this site) :P

wildstriker
08-08-2007, 06:14 AM
lol, how true, sometimes I wonder If he really deserving the victory in semifinal..., what he got is only the will to play, meh...

wow Fayte, I don't realize that, but you're the one who scanned the recent PoT chapters?, I must really thank you for it then *graditute bow*, and hopefully you'll also do so for future chapters.

Fayte
08-08-2007, 06:42 AM
Yeah, I'm friends with Sai the Shaman (the main PoT translator at MH) and sometimes I ask him to send me the translation first, when we want a quick scanlation for you guys.

mizu-genkaku
08-08-2007, 09:03 AM
totally..the ddoubles pair that's gonna fight is gonna be..inui/kaidoh..taka-san doesn't look fit enough..duh!! talk about the injuries!!..he won't be able to keep up with a rikkai player using half-strength at that rate..

Rawr
08-08-2007, 09:54 AM
Double's pair is Inui/Kaidou for sure..

Beney
08-08-2007, 10:06 AM
@ Fayte

thanks for posting those chapters.

inui/kaidou vs renji/sunglases guy.

then fujima vs akaya

Dalki
08-09-2007, 04:00 AM
Yeah, I'm friends with Sai the Shaman (the main PoT translator at MH) and sometimes I ask him to send me the translation first, when we want a quick scanlation for you guys.

Bless you!

Is it going to be Inui/Kaido?
Man, if only they allow cheating, then just give the team members a sip of any one of Inui's juices and they will go down!

wildstriker
08-09-2007, 08:33 AM
Vegetable juice is healthy you know :), you should try them more often :D
I remember there is some PoT fansite giving out Inui's vegetable juice recipe, but I forgot which site that is now...

mizu-genkaku
08-09-2007, 04:18 PM
i have the recipe for aozu..got it from a fansite..they're dishing out the recipes of inui juices

wildstriker
08-10-2007, 08:59 AM
oooo :D, can I take a look at that website?

Rangiku
08-10-2007, 11:24 AM
I hope the last match willl be Ryoma vs. Yukimura
somehow I want so see it

animechick2424
08-13-2007, 07:14 PM
most likely the last match will be Ryoma vs. Yukimura but i cant wait to see wut happens next in the manga!

wildstriker
08-14-2007, 01:00 AM
Some epic double match of course :D, and more surprise from it.

animechick2424
08-14-2007, 01:12 AM
yea your right most likely thats going to happen but i wonder who's playing doubles? i mean we all know that Oishi and Eiji are going to play but i wonder who the other doubles pair is momo and Kaido or Inui and kaido fuji is most likely playing singles and well Kawamura hurt so i wonder who's going to play?

Fayte
08-14-2007, 03:48 AM
I am placing my bets on

D2: Inui/Kaidoh vs Renji/Yagyuu
D1: Oishi/Eiji vs Marui/Jackal

Rawr
08-14-2007, 03:50 AM
It has to be Inui and Kaidou..as there are no more available players, unless the mangaka does something rideculous like make Fuji play doubles

wildstriker
08-14-2007, 08:44 AM
The mangaka already did that several times as far as I concern, Tezuka's double match in the last semifinal is just a laughable one.

kyuukii
08-14-2007, 09:34 AM
yeah lol tezuka and inui - inui like, didnt play at all lol.

the extreme funny-ness would be putting ryoma in singles. yeah i think it'll be ryoma vs yukimura then perhaps the games are tied at 2-2 then ryoma's match is the deicding one. i'd love to see that :]

hey :] and i just made a forum for prince of tennis http://princeoftennis7.proboards42.com

Fayte
08-16-2007, 10:12 PM
Rumor has it, doubles 2 will be Inui/Kaidoh vs Renji/Kirihara....I hope it isn't true.

animechick2424
08-17-2007, 01:18 AM
Kirihara playing doubles that would seem some what intresting dont ya think ^^

koo-aid
08-17-2007, 02:49 AM
^nah i picture kirihara a lot better playin singles and renji playin doubles. they did call kirihara an ace in one of the previus chapters

mizu-genkaku
08-17-2007, 07:15 AM
I agree with koo-aid..Kirihara does seem to be better in singles than doubles...his red-eyes form could probably not only harm his opponent but also his doubles partner...

kyuukii
08-17-2007, 02:34 PM
but he doesnt have the red-eyeness anymore, does he? (at least not in the anime but dont know about manga)

animechick2424
08-17-2007, 03:24 PM
no i thought that he still had the red eyeness but then again i might be wrong?

Mibu Kyoshiro
08-17-2007, 03:30 PM
no mistake.

kyuukii
08-18-2007, 11:39 AM
well i thought the red eyeness was gone after the match with the west usa selection team (in the anime) however in the anime he doesnt have the redeyeness anymore

wildstriker
08-18-2007, 12:22 PM
He does have the red-eye-ness (a.k.a. Blood Shot) in the previous semi-final match, and there's no reason why he wouldn't use it in this final match.

kyuukii
08-18-2007, 03:03 PM
eh which means he'll target his opponent's body again...?

wildstriker
08-18-2007, 04:42 PM
Did you really read the recent PoT chapters....?, notably Rikkai semi-final match.

animechick2424
08-19-2007, 03:56 AM
Did you really read the recent PoT chapters....?, notably Rikkai semi-final match.

yea he went all crazy but i dont think he'll be playing doubles i never seen him play doubles ever not in the manga or in the anime now thinking about. but if he does play he'll most likely be playing singles. :o

wildstriker
08-19-2007, 09:35 AM
Sadly, I've already read the current chapter release, and it's really Inui/Kaidoh vs. Renji/Kirihara...

zagman505
08-19-2007, 12:14 PM
should be a pretty interesting match... kaidoh and kirihara are both kinda murderous people, and inui and renji should be more interesting, since they were originally doubles partners, it'll be interesting to see how they play against each other in doubles now.

gen_marple
08-19-2007, 12:46 PM
This doubles match could be bloodiest match (That's what I think!) with Kirihara and Kaidoh in there. And, I do agree with Atobe there. What really happen in Karuizawa that made Echizen lose his tennis? (Any idea, people?)

wildstriker
08-19-2007, 01:18 PM
Oh yeah..., the amnesia Echizen pretty stupid there... ><, but let's not care about him right now.

I'm more interested in how this match will go...
Inui's Data backed with Kaidoh defensive tennis vs. Renji's Data backed with Kirihara offense tennis.

And since Kirihara playing this one, I wonder who'll play on S2 from Rikkai's side....

Reffy
08-19-2007, 02:07 PM
So the next game is Kaidoh/Inui vs. Kirihara/Yanagi, and I almost sure that the Golden Pair will be in the next double.

But I really wonder who will be single two. Since Taka-san can't play and Echizen for sure will be in single one, so it's up to Momo or Fuji. But since Momo doesn't plays interesting enough, it must be Fuji in single swo... right? 0.0

anyway, I think that from Rikkaidai Marui will be single two, at least I hope so. . .

wildstriker
08-19-2007, 02:25 PM
I'd hope for Nioh to play S2 instead...., in any case, since Kirihara already play D2, fans prediction has been shattered once again :D. YAY!, Konomi just know how to suprise readers.

EDIT: For Seigaku side, Fuji would be the most plausible choice out of them, but since Momo already back, could be him too even though I won't prefer him to play.
The golden pair will surely play D1, but who knows....?, even though Oishi = auto loss/phail (remind me with his ability otherwise....), Kikumaru's still a possible choice for single as well.

darkninja27
08-19-2007, 04:18 PM
Wait..............how did Ryoma get amnesia........does anyone know or is this just some messed up occurrence.

kusiobache
08-19-2007, 04:18 PM
how often do the chapters come out?

Rangiku
08-19-2007, 05:37 PM
Ryoma has Amnesia... somehow it´s a bit strange.
I never thought Doubles 2 could be Kirihara-Yanagi, when Kirihas´s playing Doubles, maybe Yagyuu´s playing Singles 2?!

The golden pair will surely play D1, but who knows....?, even though Oishi = auto loss/phail (remind me with his ability otherwise....), Kikumaru's still a possible choice for single as well.
Can Oishi play at all?
During the match against Hyotei he had problems with his wrist again...

kyuukii
08-20-2007, 08:03 AM
eh well i guess so... if not the manga doesnt really have a reason to continue.. unless they want to show us echizen as a senior

mizu-genkaku
08-20-2007, 02:18 PM
whaa~t!?! AMNESIA!?! wtfh! why does ryoma have amnesia!?! i don't need anything to extend the manga with amnesia!! if it gets healed whatever easily it's okay but when it becomes a filler crap..don't please don't..the manga is great but if you put fillers it will become lousy..so please..why oh why does ryoma in the plotline have amnesia!?! why!?! *cries* *wails*

kyuukii
08-20-2007, 02:30 PM
eh well.....
i think that echizen's amnesia has something to do with unlocking the pinnacle of perfection.
well, just a thought. however i doubt thats the case.

Mibu Kyoshiro
08-20-2007, 02:41 PM
on purpose so to unlock the true power to pinacle of perfection

noomma

on purpose so to unlock the true power to pinacle of perfection

I think so too. Remember when Ryoma first battled Kirihara, he had no clue on what was going on after he went into the Self-Awareness?

And then Kirihara was knocked out and had no memory of what had happened or what was going on after he went into Self-Awareness?

So Pinnacle of Perfection just might need amnesia to be completed.

Does anyone think that Ryuzaki-sensei might have experienced this with Nanjiroh?

animechick2424

yea you might just be right about that ryoma will probably remeber everything while playing in his match or b4 he play his match:cookies:

kyuukii
08-21-2007, 02:26 PM
then he'll unlock pinnacle of perfection? well as i said earlier, i think takeshi will let us see echizen unlocking the pinnacle of perfection coz thats like, the ultimate thing right? so it wouldnt just seem right if echizen didnt achieve the pinnacle of perfection

darthalvarez
08-21-2007, 02:32 PM
the ultimate thing would be unlocking all the doors at once...that would be insane

and yea, it seems like POT may be done but then was the goal only to win in the finals?

kyuukii
08-21-2007, 02:41 PM
um well i dont see anything sense if continuing after the nationals.
they could show echizen as a senior but that'd be repeating the whole thing from tokyo regionals
they could have an international match - but that has already happned in the anime
so i think it'll most probably end after nationals

and well, ryoma could just unlock all 3 doors

darthalvarez
08-21-2007, 02:51 PM
but Ryoma isnt close to becoming as strong as he is capable of. his goal was to be able to defeat his father. if he cant do that...the manga cant end...

mizu-genkaku
08-21-2007, 04:12 PM
i agree with kyuukii.. i wonder how takeshi konomi is gonna end the series...but..i sure hope ryoma remembers tennis..fast...'cuz i'm on my toes waiting for the next chapter...urgh...why does it have to be so?

eow guyz.. can i join this thread?? nweiz.., i'am a tezuka and fuji fan.. while ryoma won every battle, this two suffered losses.. i still believe that tezuka and fuji are still far better than ryoma.. tezuka lost to keigo atobe and sanada.. both of them were defeated by ryoma.. fuji lost once to 'perfect tennis'.. isnt it tezuka and fuji have a clean record since first year?? and then suddenly, after improving a lot, they lost?? for tezuka.. tezuka's arm was injured back from his first year, but still, he manage to win every game giving him a clean record.. but now, after completely healing his arm, after being able to use pinnacle of hardwork and wisdom again, he lost! waaaaahh!! its unfair.. just imagine how weak his oppenents in the past.. he even beat the captain of hyotei gakuen during his second year.. tsk tsk... on the other hand, fuji.. his lost may be forgivable.. even genius lost sometimes.. it would be better if ryoma lost even once so he will know the taste of defeat.. for example during the regionals, they should have lost to rikkaidai., even being second place.. they can still play in the finals.. therefore, the match between these two teams will be more interesting.. isnt it?? heheheh... =)

kyuukii
08-23-2007, 01:51 PM

but it was not official.. still, i believe.., ryoma cant beat tezuka.. tezuka's lost in their last meeting was i think intentional.. what i mean is that tezuka didnt play with all his might.. he didnt activated any pinnacle.. but on the other hand.. ryoma activated pinnacle of hardwork(he uses the diff tech of each seiagaku reg)... maybe tezuka just wanted ryoma to open the first door.. pinnacle of hardwork.. hehehhe.. =)

kakashi1300

hmmm manga-wise i believe a match where ryoma defeated tezuka did not happen. even a fuji-tezuka match did not yet occur. and i think the last match of the series will be where ryoma finally beats his father, or i hope so. now in the nationals i will more be looking forward to a fuji-yukimura singles 2 match, but i think it will not be the case, since ryoma is sure to fight in singles 1 and no other rikkai players can match him.

yeah- its an unexpected twist of events. however genichirou DID get stronger. much stronger when he last played with ryoma.

I find it strange that Kirihara is just hitting snake shots and powerful smashes. I also find it strange that Niou said "Our Officers". I think it is still possible that Kirihara can be Niou in disguise.

Shuyin
08-25-2007, 11:07 PM
Didn't Niou say our officer referring to Yanagi?

I like that Niou theory.... That would definitely screw up Inui's 'data.' But the comment by Kirihara seemed pretty genuine to me.

Now, that...., is a BAD joke..., Kirihara isn't even worth imprisonating.

Powerful smash is what Kirihara does all the time as his playstyle is to crush his oppenent, and snake is a useless move that everyone in PoT can copy, snake become Kaidoh's trademark because of his playstyle only, not the unique of the shot.

Some reason this chapter got me really annoyed >_<

Alberio
08-26-2007, 03:15 AM
It just seemed a bit annoying to me how, Inui isn't relying on his data that much and they just keep getting whooped, aside from Ryoma's amnesia, otherise it wasn't annoying to me.

If it was an act, which is more than doubtful, I'd be pissed with Ryoma.

Rawr
08-26-2007, 04:13 AM
This chapter got me so annoyed because it was the same thing over and over again when it comes to Kaidou/Inui pair, they get completely crushed first like 3-5 games, and then they somehow pull off a win =\ It happens EVERY time, not to mention Inui ALWAYS has his data proven wrong and has to get new data, and Kaidou stands there like a complete amateur and can't seem to get a point

kakashi1300
08-26-2007, 08:46 AM
well certainly kaidoh-inui will lose, due to the fact that kirihara-yanagi lost their respective matches in the kantou finals. i wouldn't even be surprised if they will get crushed big time, but if a turning-point event will occur it would be kaidoh to pull it off. if yukimura will not fight fuji in singles 2 then i think it would be best if it's the gentleman yagyuu. and i do support the theory of ryoma's amnesia as a sign of him acheiving the pinnacle of perfection and having amnesia as a side effect at first.

gen_marple
08-26-2007, 12:38 PM
What the heck is going out there? 3-0!?! I hope this doesn't get worse after Echizen's amnesia (in which, I hope, is the side effect of atttaining the pinnacle of perfection)...Rats! Yeah, I kind of like it, but its just too....creepy. He'll probably gain his memory back by being hit by a ball or something, or he will have flashbacks when watching Fuji or someone playing of back when he played. If he does play with it, he better still be able to play, since he still has his physical memory.

well i hope he is against kirihara but kirihara is playing doubles now

haha and we just had a splendid doubles game (in table tennis though) but anyways i think i do have the feeling ryoma's faking this amnesia thing for a reason, w/c i haven't thought of yet, but i really wish it's the sign for the pinnacle of perfection. and i have seemed to notice that the nationally acclaimed golden pair has lost its limelight in the nationals arc since in their only match in which they're complete, ie against shishido-ootori pair, they've lost. i really hope they will come and win their match big time.

as for fuji i really believe yagyuu will face him but i don't know what he will have against fuji since i think the laser beam won't do him any good. if it's niou then he can have his reading-moves thing improved to read fuji and have some advantage in the game.
