Well, I think some characters have interesting pasts, so I want to see some others pasts, mainly Musubi's, and Kuu's was ineteresting but not as much as I think Musubi's will be.

Yep thats what they said, the person who said that said that those two extra pages were from future chapters as well, seems to be a good future to me.

musubi figths the 2 mbi sekirei not the black sekirei... she fight number 105 and 106 i think...
musubi was defeated and tsukumi no. 9 come to rescue
then musubi change into number 8
then musubi defeated the mbi sekireis, black sekirei did not come...
black sekirei i think has a bath scene within these chapters...
chapter 49-50
in this chapters minato winged number 3 sekirei....
that's all what i understand in the chapters... the rest i dont understand at all i can't understand the words.. i just concluded by looking at the pictures... haahhaahahahah

:) turns out that no.8 (forgot how to spell names) has fused with no.88 previous thrus prevent 88 from losing her mark once (two sekirei in one) and she continues to fight the others but during the fighting the bridge was damaged and collapsed leaving the boy and his singing sekirei traped but minato then kisses no 3 and she uses wind teleportation to send them across the river to escape......

will be releasing the over 18 version on th 9/9 so the raws should be afew days after that

Off topic: A very big fan actually, I have checked out almost every form of media it has.


I personally prefer .hack//sign over roots, roots just didn't have the .hack feel, or much of a revised one...

sign was lighter themed, but had a in-depth story, but roots didn't have much depth to its actual story and focused more on the characters, so I would say it is close to sign but not quite there since much of it felt like a filler, until the end of it. Sign was over emotional at times, so that is a bit of a downside to me, but they depicted everyone quite well.

I actually like GU more than the old games, it seems to have more story scenes and a revised battle system, along with several new attachments, but it doesn't feel quite as free as the first games. Now this version seems to be a more complete feeling, but I love how the old games just had Kite with the bracelet, fighting against "The Wave" and trying to revive everyone from the coma...

The new feeling of .hack just doesn't appeal to me as much as the old, but I must admit the new game series is fantatic and has a better fighting system, I just really don't like Haseo and some others I guess lol Sillabus is like an old player of "The World"

A bit of an extra thing is that, as you can tell, the novel was one of my favorites amongst all forms of media .hack has, I can't really say which one is my personal favorite however...



On topic: Does anyone else feel sorry for Tsukiumi, considering she is likely to be dumped?

Thats something I've been thinking of as well...if you consider the damage they can cause I suppose that might cause too much of a ruckus. When they do get to having multiple Sekirei fighting at once, sparks will fly to say the least.

well from the beginning this manga is all about ecchi even just looking in the drawing of musubi its ecchi when you look on her back her but always stand and and in front her big boobs stand out I bet if main character always have nosebleed he will die from it ( well actually it always )

Its very likely to be Musubi, as you can tell from his current actions Tsu already figured out who he liked more, but still will probably try to capture his heart.

Still, there is a chance he may grow to love her as the series goes on.

I want to see this next chapter and all, but I'm looking more forward to finding out about the sekirei, well Musubi, in the next few chapters. I also want to see Mia's past...like how her husband died n' all.

Sorry if this is a bit of thread necromancy, but I wanted to ask if there's any other Sekirei material, raw or translated, that people could share.

I downloaded the raws of chapters 49, 50, and 53 (thanks guys!), and would very much like to find scans of 41-48, 51, and 52 (the link that was posted several pages back for all of volume 5 has since expired).

Also, if anyone has a scan of the Sekirei Engagement artbook, or of the "second omake" that the K-Manga people are saying they now have over on IRC, please post a link too! (I just can't work IRC to save my life. Seriously.)

@dark: They'd prefer to keep this as a regular series, with a lot of ecchi, not that its a bad thing at all.

Hey there guys. I am new to the forum and I am a Sekirei fan. Please take care of me :D

I have finished reading all 40 chapters of the English translation on One Manga and I love the story until now. It really makes one quite impatient for the next chapter... unfortunately, the new translations are coming out veeeerrryyyy slowly :p Hope to get more of it soon.

BTW, just a couple of thoughts / questions here.

i) Is there any link between a Sekirei's power and his / her digit? So far, it seems that the powerhouses of the Sekireis are the single digits, for e.g. nos. 1, 3, 4, 5, 9 etc. (except for Shin (no. 107) - death). Also so far, it seems that the single digits are pwning the other digits fairly easily. I also wonder whether Homura is a single digit (maybe no. 6 or 7)?

ii) Do you think that the 3 'powers' of the East, West and South ashikabis have at least 20 (to 30?) Sekireis under their command? As stated before, there are 108 Sekireis and after Kazehana got winged, there is (are) only one (or two?) Sekirei(s) left unwinged. Taking into account that about roughly 10 - 15 Sekirei's have been knocked out of the fight (one by Musubi, one by Black Sekirei, 3 by Uzume, one by Shiina, making an assumption for the rest) and with Minato having 5 Sekireis, MBI having 3, Yukari having Shiina, Sao having the twins, Miya and Homura still unknowns, I would presume that the three powers command at least 20 Sekirei each. If so, that is heck quite a lot of Sekirei per power.

iii) Having said that, do you think that Minato's Sekirei lineup is the strongest quality wise? So far, his offensive people are Musubi, Tsukiumi and Kazehana (3 pwnage Sekirei) while he has Kusanu to defend / break up fights :p and Matsu to plot strategy. I am betting that Homura will be winged by Minato (when he fully becomes a she :D) and I would not be surprised if Miya also becomes Minato's Sekirei.

iv) Lastly, I believe that one of the storylines will be a rescue of Uzume's akibashi. After that, Uzume and Shiina will join forces with Minato's sekireis :p

Sorry for the long long rant. Hope to share your thoughts, opinions and joys of reading Sekirei with all of you. :)

Well here is my opinion on the matter.

i) I've been thinking about that for awhile, but I'm pretty sure its just that they have the most experience and pure power compared to the other "lesser" powers of the others. Also, I've seen pics of Musubi as number 8, so look out for that.

As per Homura I've read somewhere that he/future she, is a single digit but I'm not sure where.

ii) I'm pretty sure they'd have about 15-18 currently, as they wouldn't have many others than other groups to fight then.

Maybe, I'm thinking that Uzume might have to fight them and lose, but then again I prefer none cliche happy endings to fights most of the time. >_>

I don't think Miya will be "winged" by Minato, as I think her husband might actually be alive still and that she was actually meeting someone when she was suposedly mourning(an unlikely yet possible scenario to me), seeing her as Minato's sekirei would be funny though. ^_^
