Ahhh he loves her~~
I'm glad to have been shown that Nakida (or whatever) only showed Iku her bruises, and not her coconuts. He really is a good guy. :o

Coconuts?
I thought that they'd keep the story going for a bit longer, hadn't checked that this was only two volumes long. I liked it. The last chapter was quite nice. I especially liked the way she told the picky writer off. I wanted to see her career take off even better and I wanted to know more about her more succesful mangaka friend who's name I'm forgetting.
Nice little story in all. I should look for more from the same mangaka.
Lol...rachel. But I'm also glad, that nothing happened between them.
I pity Nakida (or whatever her name is) to be beaten up by the own husband is the worst. And her parents even told her to bear it...>_>
Oh...I didn't even know that this is already the ending until I read your post, Lai.
Quite short, but I enjoyed it a lot. In romance mangas I like it better short instead of long and draggy.

i love it. the title sound a lil weird to me but the story is very interesting. i like how the relationship is flowing smoothly(tho Koreeda's ex gf did bother them for a while), with both of them is busy with works, seldom meet each other and also seldom contact each other-yet the relationship works out. thats an achievement for a woman!;p

I thought the series would be longer. It ended so abruptly, I didn't even see it coming. At least the doctor wasn't cheating on her[mangaka](gah! to names :/), and the lady just gave up on him. There'd be much more drama if she didn't, but that would be cliche.
It's sad that the husband was beating her though. She only married him for the money I guess. Either way she got a divorce and is out of it now...

I'm propably the only guy who actually has the courage to discuss shoujo/josei-mangas. Anyways the series ended a bit aruptly but I still like the fact that the mangaka managed to keep the story simple, avoiding the worst shoujo/josei-cliches.
I hope J-Sis now picks up the pace with Usagi Drop and Hotaru no Hikari. Those two are rather good reads. Sadly their upcoming projects don't seem that interesting as from my manga reading experiences I've learned that 1 volume stories aren't worth anyones time. One shots and one volume-stories are too short to even develop a decent start for a story.

*pokes Dantrad* No wai! I like these stories as well. :P
Man this was a rather fun story, and not as depressing or emotional that most people thought, yet it's simplicity was great.^^
Although the ending did stop rather sudden it gave a warm good feeling. That doesn't happen often at Manga's Ends.
9/10
Ps: I really want to know what happens after Natsuko divorce, atleast I think that she'll meet Koreeda but at the same time only as friends. =< But I'll gladly say I have no need to know, since it's going very well with both Natsuko and the Mangaka, even with their circumstances.^^

Dont worry here is the second guy.
Its my third shoujo manga that I really like in a row.The others two are Bittter Virgin and Kouko Debut. The manga is so matureand and hilarious. Despite of been such a short manga the I have a deep connection withe the principal character. Im currently reading some others works form the same mangaka like Kimi Shika Iranai which is a little similar to BV.

I hate to point out but Bitter Virgin isn't Shoujo, It's Seinen (Aka targeted for adult men). Kusunoki Kei doesn't do shoujo series or josei-series, only Seinen and Shounen.

Lol Dant.
Spicy Pink was a nice read and the romance was well done. A good read altogether, it doesn't make you feel like you wasted your time. ^^

I'm glad that Sakura was ok with her boyfriend. It was a very funny manga and I enjoyed it ^_^
I didn't really get the josei feel from this either. You're right about seinen. I probably just spelled that wrong, sorry.
But it was a good read. I always love when I don't want to stop reading a manga to go to sleep. So good! The characters were down to earth and believable. Pretty good slice-of-life. Although, Sakura was extremely naive. I wonder if they will make a sequel. The ending was satisfying, but I'd like to see their relationship blossom. :)
