I really like the manga so far! The art style is nice, and I like the clothing patterns. The one sword fight seen so far was fairly realistic, and it was enjoyable to see the main character actually needing to train to win.

The recent storyline is really interesting with the whole split personality thing- and so those girls were killed? The manga comes off as being cute and cheerful at first, but its actually really dark underneath, huh?

I look forward to new chapters!

Glad you like it so far! We're just finishing up chapter 7 now (it resolves the club mystery), and working on chapter 8, something of a filler, (I'm translating it! or trying miserably to... -_-; ).

Please look forward to it!

Hurray, I read the new chapter and loved it! I was surprised that the younger girls were the culprits. I thought for sure it was Tsukiko! They got what was coming to them.

Seems like Asami still doesn't know that the boy she met and Tsukiko are one in the same. Maybe it'll make an interesting situation for later chapters.

Thanks for all your hard work, Xiao Cha, and the rest of the Domo Scans team!

New chapter is out....

I liked this chapter, it showed a bit more of the relationship between Asami and her brother, It's also nice to see a bit more of Tsukiko and Keiji.....

Also many thanks to Domo Scans^^

Unfortunately, there's nothing serious about Tsukiko/Keiji until chapter 20... On the bright side, the next chapter is nearing completion (despite something of a major setback...), and chapter 10 has already been translated. If we have the resources hopefully we can get through the next few volumes within the year. (No promises, but we're doing our best! =] )

Well, that's a shame, but at least there will be something more serious about them..
Oh, I'll be looking forward to the next chapter then =D

I hope you're able to get through these next few volumes =D

And just a question, how many chapters of Sakura no Ichiban are there in total, and do you know if it's over in it's country of origin?

Oh yeah, the manga is already completely done. There are only 5 volumes, which comes out to 25 chapters or so (plus omakes and what have you).

Really, only 25 chapters? Wow... (Is a bit surprised considering the author's other work, Chibi Vampire had 12 volumes I think...)

Well, the chapters have a lot of pages (I think it's monthly, actually) so it's a bit of a consolation =D

Sorry for the double post, but new chapter's out^^ (It's been out for a while actually, but oh well...)

I liked this chapter, it was more supernatural-ish, and I'm looking forward to finding out about what happened to Touko and what that has to do with Misao (Can't remember if that's really her name >.>)

I hope there are some more fights on the next few chapters..

And thank Domo Scans for this chapter ^^

No real fights for the next couple chapters, anyway. Starting chapter 12 or so though, it gets a bit more intense.

Forgot to post earlier >.<! The new arc seems pretty dark, what with that guy murdering her...although I was sure the missing food had to do with the missing girl, it's always so neat to see how a mangaka can string together plot points.

I also just realized that this manga is done by the person who did Karin! I thought their drawing style was similar, but that explains it! The mangaka is pretty versatile to go from a modern day vampire story to a historical school life one.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to new chapters even if there aren't any serious fight scenes. The suspense alone is great XD. Keep up the awesome work, Xiao Cha and co.!

I have to agree with pretty much everything you saidXD
About the new arc being a little more dark (Even if I didn't really get that felling a lot while reading it) And also about the mangaka being pretty versatile, altough she did finish writing Karin a while/long time ago (not sure when she finished it >.>) so I guess it's not extremely surprising. (She's still pretty good though)
Also again about looking forward to more chapters, even if I like the fighting scenes, the suspense really is great (I do wish next chapter has some of Misao (again can't really remember If I got her name right >_>) in it though XD)

Neeew chapter! Like you hoped for, Thaiane, there did seem to be a fair amount of Misao this time around.

Asami's dream was a very neat way to lead up to the climax of the arc, paralleling the discoveries. Aw, I'd bawl my eyes out if I found my cat dead!

And now I look forward to a brand new adventure! Apparently it's supposed to be...sexy...?

Yes, it was good to see some more of Misao this chapter^^ and it was kind of funny seeing her being pretty dense about the whole Touko issue..

And well, this chapter was even more "dark" than the others,I did feel a bit sorry for Touko, I mean, even if she did look a bit...erm possesive or something, she was still helping that guy in a way.
