this one is funny to read, i mean i didnt bother finishing it after i got to know that it never has been completed but i sure would have finished it if it would have been completed^^

i read it a while ago and thought it was brilliant, i loved the whole dystopian setting, the protagonist and the actual fire candy.... they didnt explain enough about the halfs which annoyed me..

I don't like reading a manga, only to have it end abruptly. I was really getting into Fire Candy, and then, it's over just like that. The same thing happened with Mx0. What is the problem with these Mangaka? Fire Candy had soooo much potential.

Well this manga is pretty messed up. It has it's good points, and it's definitely interesting, but a lot of it is pretty damn disgusting. I didn't realize it was cut off, though.

So I'm guessing it was majorly influenced by a Clockwork Orange, thus all the blatant references? Which would help explain how disturbing it is.

Oh yeah, this manga completely trolled me. I was very disappointed by the ending, I didn't expect it to be so sudden. I ended up not liking it that much, but I probably would have continued reading it just to see how it ended.

Well I thought it was a pretty good series, and I would have liked for it to of continued, but sadly it got canceled. Anyway, I did not find the manga all that disturbing, but I guess there were some parts what were kind of tough to take. I mean having sex for the first time, and your partner bursting into flames then exploding would probably leave some emotional scars. I thought that was a pretty sad moment actually. >_>

I also would of liked for it to have explained what exactly fire candy is, and more on how the halfs were created, but I guess I will just have to leave it up to my imagination. Also the ending was really disappointing because what was going on at that moment, and then it just ends. There were a lot of unanswered questions and a lot of story that did not get told, but I still thought it was a pretty good series.

I've never read a manga with more of a cliffhanger as an ending, it almost made me mad! xD It had a really good setting and story, though, and I would have liked to see more of it. :[

I finally got around to reading this manga and i have to say that it was one of the most chilling stories I'd read in a long time, dare i say that if it continued It might of been my favorite.

Even though it did have the horrid ending, the story along the way was amazing. Nothing was really held back, plus it subverted a lot of common tropes that are used in a lot of normal manga/other such things.

I liked it, even though it stopped at a brick wall.

Yeah I really wish he'd finished this, I didn't read that the artist was Yonekura Kengo until the little epilogue thing and I was like OSHI... I guess that makes sense then doesn't it. It was pretty borderline H at some points :/

I really liked how messed up it was, how he didnt hold back anything making the world a really dirty seedy place. I like mangas that manage to feel "real" to me despite having the usual wayyy off the planet storyline :P
