I'm sorry, but past volume 3 or 4(I forgot which one), you don't see her again(at least where I am, volume 7. Sucks because she was awesome. And the name of her supporter is Valvati (Bal bat tii in Korean)

Xing/Shing isn't really Xing, but his real name was Lee, and he switched names with his twin brother(Xing). Or, let me check that again. I'll post up if I find out I was wrong.

as in a supporter which is created when a witch awakens

the rate of witches obtaining a supporter when she awakens as a witch is very low...

normally they don't get a supporter when they awaken as a witch

they have to make a supporter themselves

so a witch with a supporter of creation is rare and valuable....

I just hope we'll know soon what's happening cause the cliff-hanger is worst than dring the previous chapter (Oh, and the way to reload his mana is lookign quite evil since his pouch is devouring the hat...)

I hate people who are so closed minded that they attack an innocent witch, but now tasha's been framed. Oh and that ending credits was funny... also he would make a good debt collector

I agree with Meth and Twi. The omake is great! I totally can see this happen, if they weren't Witch Hunters. Poor Halloween...

I'd like to see Monica tag a long for a bit longer since her magic abilities are quite useful. And I kinda grew to like her.

Oh and that cliffhanger... I wonder what's going on. I hope we don't need to wait for a release tooooo long;)

Wow, it turned out really excellent!
We learned a lot more about the Organisation of the WH with the different grades (and the 5 monstrous people). Also, each WH is divided in one of the 5 categories depending on their powers, and some of the new chapracters appearing are quite cool, furthermore, we know they will come again quite often)
Though, for the little witch we saw earlier which helped everyone in the last chapters, well, from the author words in the bonus at the end of volume 4, it sems we won't see her a lot again T.T
After that, the whole plot with the new ennemy being the antagonist of Tasha in stronger, it was quite cool, furthermore, he ended up being saved by East again ^^ (and we get to see the new form of Halloween, as the author said in the bonus...why all the girls around Tasha are flat-chest ^^)
With those new chapters, Witch Hunter became trully excellent, can't wait for another volume...at least 2 months now, unless the scans on internet are faster...

Oh, and I just read the volume...erm...5, it was excellent once again
It was excellent to see all the past of Xing (which isn't Xing but Li...that was confusing). All this struggle between the brother who still liked each other and their father trying to rule over them was done quite well...the only problem was that it was hard to tell which brother it was each time...
And now, another fight between the brothers upcoming.
And on the other hand, Merlin appeared in the end of the volume, and now we know Halloween's real name (I like that it's related a lot to the story of Merlin ^^)

I like this series but i am still confused the female witch hunters are all witches that want to be good right the males are not witches but still have some sort of magic power and the main character is just a normal human but gets his magic power from the witches hats? am i right i think i have the gist but if sum1 could elaborate a lil bit more and i dont mind spoilers thanx

Well, it's just that girls are more "adaptated" at using magic and gathering magic power, that's why the whitches are always girls.
On the other hand, men can rarely use magic, and in order to do so like our main character, they need some items, like a witch hat (though, he cannot fill it in mana by himself and has to use the magic in the hat of the other witches)
So yeah, the girls in WH are witches working for the organisation (though, a lot of the WH do't like this idea). It's explained a bit better in the little bonus in the end of some volumes but I don't remember seeing it on OM or in the scans (they explain the diferent classes of Witch Hunter with the normal humans, the witches, the one "transformed" by witch magic, etc...though, I don't remember everything I read the volume too long ago)

He kills witches on both sides because his teacher, tasha's teacher, was killed by aria and it's not a losing war to be truthful, I mean blue class is about as good as cannon fodder, but black and white class dominate

Ah just finished reading OM chaps and it's pretty nice

It's like a crossover between Soul eater and D.Grayman (main character kind of reminds me of Allen) which isn't really that bad as it still has it's own distinct taste that makes it still worthwhile to devour.

Well hoping for more chaps soon =)

P.S. so the Secret Garden Witch can see her future else she woulld be one of the four great witches.
P.P.S. oh I interpreted it wrongly, it only means that the person's fate is tied up with the four witches so this doesn't really mean anything huh..

Summary of the end of vol. 7 by teqq
He opened his dimensional pouch and called forth (as you can see from the English) the Songs of Moirae <-- aka the three sisters of Fate from mythology whose names you also see in English. He says he didn't think he'd be seeing them again so soon and also greets his master. A black battlefield is set up all of a sudden and it starts to snow and the last page is him saying "Songs of Moirae" "Finished".


Next Volume comes out at the end of febuary

Witch Hunter v4

Chapter 13 - Strength and Speed
Opens up with him fighting the other guy with the other Halloween. The guy's telling him his supporter is dying. Tasha puts in the bullet Restoration of the Truth and says he's not going to let his supporter die. Flashback starts to his master telling him congratulations because he's officially in the western WH world center. She says aren't you surprised since it's been just a year and to not worry since her disciples are all definitely above B-grade, etc. etc. and from now on he needs to learn a lot more. Flashback is overlaid with his thoughts now. A few days before his admittance into WH, from having fought with his younger sister Aria (flashback still going on.. she says "Oh, and so I'm giving you this"), his master had passed away (flashback part has a hologram of her appearing out of a little jar saying, "it's your graduation present"). Her hologram continues talking... saying this is something she should be giving in person but due to the circumstances, the message will suffice, etc etc.... and so, the very last thing his master had given him (that graduation present) was his supporter, Halloween. This supporter is so strong that without the two seals (appears in the form of two small padlocks around its neck) on it, that he can't call for it. Due to the influence of the two seals, its appearance and memories are all affected, but it is still strong. His master had explained how releasing the seals would be too dangerous. And since it's something his master left for him, he doesn't ever want to lose it, and since its his supporter, even more so. And so, (shows gun smoking from shooting that restoration of truth bullet), he released one of the two seals. But he has no idea if he can control his supporter without the seal. And now he's looking at the true form of his supporter... a girl. First thing she does is punch him. She's trying to finish him off and gets interrupted by the other Halloween and she starts beating it up but his master interrupts and says he, alone, is enough. And Tasha's girl-Halloween says, fine, me, too. And he takes her down and says she can't win for one simple reason: she has no skills. He's gonna shoot her and finish her off when Tasha interrupts and she's like this one's mine and they're fighting verbally and he uses the thing on his right hand to fire up the remaining seal to remind her who's boss. The other dude is thinking he's running out of time since the wound to his Halloween's heart is rather severe. And that taking those two (Tasha and girl-Halloween) down isn't difficult but he doesn't know if his own Halloween can hold up during that time. So that guy also summons his own dimensional pouch and calls forth "High-level magic Limit Release". Apparently it's something a human guy shouldn't be able to do judging from Tasha's reaction/thoughts. Dude's hair has turned white, meanwhile, and says, "come at me, I'll show you how to really make use of the dimensional gap". Then comes an explanation of how magic is poison and blahbalh that's why a limit was imposed and this guy is neither a witch nor even female so how the hell could he release the limit...

Chapter 14 - Dimensional Gap

Scene switch: Girl (name is Elma Hyacinth) is trying to fight some witch with tons of bugs (her familiars) and all the people with her have died off already. And bug-girl-witch sends her familiars after Elma and is like that's too bad since finding a disciple isn't exactly easy. Shing/Xing comes onto the scene having rescued the Elma girl from the bugs and asks if she's hurt. Elma's like...how's a black class here since she didn't even signal for HELP. And the bug-witch is like one more person isn't making your situation any better and Xing's like, that's too bad, since it's not just one more person. Then you see Flower of the Earth execute and pierce all the bugs. Bug-witch collapses since all her supporters were destroyed all of a sudden (she takes on damage from that). Elma's like so this is what the black...A-class's strength is like and how what she's accomplished up to now (B-class) seems like a joke. They're like we came here for you, shall we return to the center now, your supporter is waiting. Scene switch: you see Tasha and girl-Halloween on the ground from having taken some damage. Tasha's defense is weakening slowly and other dude's like, "are you going to keep this up?" And he asks Tasha why is he opposing him since aren't witches the enemies of their master? Tasha's like stop joking around. And the other guy's like, this is no joke. All of Tasha's stuff... magic gun, dimensional gap pouch, etc. are the same as his and there are only two people in the world who can make them.. and even their supporters are Halloweens: pumpkin dolls were a hobby of his own master. And Tasha's like, "no! my master clearly said I'm the only disciple!!" Dude can never forgive the witch who killed his master. And that's why he's hunting witches and absorbing their magic. And so he does that to all the witches he encounters in the case one of them is the one who killed his master and so he can't let any witch live and that's reason enough for him. Tasha's thinking this guy is too strong. So he tells his pouch to open, and what he wants is "Chant of the Moirae!!" Some new person to the scene says, "you should probably stop there." Next page shows it's that witch from before who's taken an interest in him. She says if you use it wrong, you could die. The other guy asks her who are you and she says she's just a meddler and so he says then die. And she's like, you think that can happen? Then boooom her supporter shows up. Other dude is like "this... this is the lord of the burning earth Muspel Haim --- Surt!!" He's like how the hell does a young girl like this have the supporter belonging to one of the 4 great witches (the witch of the East). She's like oh ho, impressive that you remember the name from 5000 years ago abhlalbha. Then she address the other dude by his name, "Ryu-hwan"

Chapter 15 - Time Over

She's like go away, Ryu-hwan. He says don't act so familiar with me. She's like fine, then it seems only through skills..... and Ryu-hwan is thinking if this is anything like the East's supporter then he has no chance in defeating it. But he has only one thought and that's to kill witches. So Ryu-hwan and Surt start to fight. Flashback to when a witch has taken a human to be her disciple. Another's like who's heard of taking a human as a disciple... and so the human in question is introduced as Ryu-hwan. He's shown when he's a kid. And the person watching is the great witch of the East (looking at some projected hologram/image of the kid-Ryuhwan) and she says "He's still a boy..." and then switches to the present time where the young witch is like that kid is actually putting up a fight with my Surt (that was a segue transition). Ryu-hwan's fighting and is thinking, so, he isn't the same, after all since Surt's iron skin was actually wounded. He's about to try and follow up with it when his time (the limit release's duration) ended. His hair turns back to black. And the witch comes up and says "Looks like the rebound is starting." And she says that because of his body he can't use magic. And points at his Halloween and says and you can't use that thing over there. And she says, "What shall I do since you can't use magic or your supporter. It's too easy to kill you, Ryu*-hwan*" He's looking at her. She's like ah, you do look like the disciple chosen by "that one" <-- that other witch. So she says, fine, let's make a contract, Ryu-hwan!! She says if he agrees, she'll tell him what witch killed his master. Tasha's wondering what the hell is the witch after since after fighting she healed him and girl-Halloween. And he's like since it's his work, after all, he can't just let a witch go. And he's like what's the reason for helping us out and to warn her upfront.. he has no money. She's like, "I don't need any." She says, "you're getting stronger, Tasha". And at the least he'll get stronger than Ryu-hwan and even Barette/Valette/Varet. And Tasha says you even know who Valette is... and he demands her hat. And she says isn't that being ungrateful after saving his butt and healing him. And she says you want this (pulls her hat out of thin air). She's like, "hm, but what shall you do~~" (destroys her own hat) "it's been destroyed." Tasha's wondering what the hell she's scheming since the hat of a witch appears at the same time she becomes one and is more precious to her than life and if the hat is destroyed, all the magic that has been stored up in it is lost. And she so casually destroys hers?! She says not to worry so much about the hat since it's simply there for ceremony/show/symbolism. She says, "I have no hat." and she says that hat she had pulled out she just made for show to carry around. He's like, "you expect me to believe that?" And she's like I honestly don't care whether you do or not. She says she has something even more important. And if he's wondering what it is, then do her a favor and pass on what he sees to that woman. He's left weakened and she leaves on her broom. He sees a vision of some ostentatious palace he's never seen before. He thinks it's a dream because standing right next to him is Valette. But he doesn't feel fear... and wait, what is that feeling..? ah, this feelin
g is nostalgia/longing. He wakes up and is recovering. Elma is there to greet him. Scene switch: council of witches. One witch, named Rose, is irritated that at this gathering of high witches there are two humans (one looks a lot like Xing but has a scar on the left side of his face. Another's like calm down, they are supporters. South (the great witch of the South) shows up. She's like let's get started and talk about the obliteration/ruin/destruction of humanity.

Chapter 16 - Contract of Ruin

Okay this chapter is boring. Cougar shows up and has a spat with Tasha. Xing shows up to try and stop them from fighting. Cougar is charging up his lightning. girl-Halloween puts one of her swords to his throat. He asks who the hell she is and she says she's Tasha's supporter, Halloween. He says, "what?! you're that pumpkin doll balhbalhbal..." Another guy with an eye-patch (name is Wars/Wuz) shows up and is like and just where is a supporter putting its sword, etc. And says how long do you plan on holding that sword and touches Halloween's blade. It crashes into the floor from the sudden extra weight. She calls for Tasha and he gives her power through the contract of theirs. And with renewed strength the two (Tasha and Halloween) seem to be about to face off with Wars and Cougar. Elma's trying to stop them and Xing's like, the only one who can stop these two is .... next page you see Tasha aiming, Cougar charging, Halloween dashing, and Wars with his hand stretched out. and then a big explosion. Xing shields Elma and says "...he came!" New guy with some jingly staff says "This looks amusing." Next page is a double-spread of a new guy with dark hair and glasses and a long long scarf holding all their weapons (Tasha's gun, Halloween's blade, Wars' eyepatch, Cougar's gauntlet) in his hand and tossing them up and down. Tasha and Wars say, "Phantom Knights!!" and Wars says, "tch, let's go, Cougar." and Tasha says "us, too, Halloween." And they leave and the new guy asks Elma to follow him. Halloween asks Tasha who that guy was. She says she couldn't see him or feel his magic etc. Tasha says, of course, you wouldn't be able to see or avoid his attack. That guy is of the WH's top class, the S-class, with the title "Phantom Knights" and that guy was "Shaman" <-- the guy's name. Scene switch: Shaman gives Elma a new blade and says she can try to use it. The blade's name is Tirving. Apparently it will leech its master's blood if it does not get to kill someone. Since she's a healer, it suits her. Scene switch: Linda brings girl-Halloween out in a cute outfit and says sorry to keep you waiting, how is this? And he's just sitting there staring and Linda is amused. And he's just wanting to go back to the room but Halloween wants to go to the training hall and he's like training hall? if you want to go, go by yourself... and she pounds him into the wall. she's like this isn't the Tasha Gospel I know. She wants to get stronger and he needs to, too. etc. And he wakes up and is ilke yeah okay. Then he gets a red-light message basically stating all WH need to stop what they're doing and head to the center as fast as possible. Scene shows burning buildings and the two human supporters of that witch (one of whom resembles Xing very strongly..but with a scar). Some other dude's like how the hell could this all have been done by just one witch. "All this" and all the destruction depicted is apparently the southern WH world center in ruins now. And apparently, he is facing off with South (the great witch of the South) Thus ends volume 4.

Vol5

The guys at the West center are gathered together by Shaman to have teams sent out to the South center that is under attack. A scene from the south center's destruction is transmitted and Xing sees the guy who looks a helluva lot like him. Once he sees that he excuses himself immediately. Most of the next two-thirds of the volume is about his background. Story switches to the past. In the empire of Bairong/Vairong/however-you-want-to-spell-it there is an emperor with three sons roughly around the age of 17. One is named Li, another Yue, and the third is Xing. Li has a lackey named Eunwon, Xing has an instructor ..like martial arts, etc. and you don't really see much of Yue's lackeys. He has a woman he likes, however. Xing really loves the empire and wants to be a great emperor and protect his people, etc. Li is always training 24-7 hard. Yue sits around idly a lot, it seems, and care neither for the empire's people nor for training insane hours like Li does. Then comes the day where the sons present themselves in front of the emperor to see which of them the great White Dragon selects to be the next emperor. The emperor holds out his hand and the white dragon appears above him and flies out towards the sons and wraps itself around Yue to the surprise of many. Yue is a bit befuddled as to what to do about becoming emperor soon and Li is furious. Eunwon goes to talk to Li saying he should be emperor and the actual emperor shows up and is like if anything were to befall Yue then the selection would have to be made again and how he himself wasn't the one the dragon chose. So, Eunwon takes that as a hint and tells Li he'll take care of things. Yue is assaulted by a team and he fights back quite handily and instead of being Eunwon, it ends up actually being Xing's master. Except he says Xing had nothing to do with this and this was out of his own volition and he thought Xing should have been chosen and tells Yue to finish him off. Yue says no, and to go back. But then the guy gets killed by someone, Yue turns around and sees that it's Eunwon who killed that guy off. And Eunwon basically lets on he was letting him try to finish Yue off but since that failed he'll do it himself, and Yue fights back and he's going to finish Eunwon off since he had killed off the master but Li steps in and says Eunwon, I never gave you such an order. But then Li wants to do it himself and so while he's fighting Yue he explains how with Yue gone, if the dragon chooses Xing, then he'd have to kill Xing, too. And Li thinks he has it in the bag but Yue pulls out one of the master moves that Li didn't know he had already learned and he defeats Li but doesn't kill him. Yue commands Eunwon to take Li and leave the place (the empire, basically). But right then the emperor shows up and steps in and refers to Li and Eunwon as traitors and Eunwon takes offense to this saying the emperor had basically told them to do this and the emperor is laughing. (By the way, a guy becomes emperor when the white dragon enters his body.) You find out that the emperor is actually a single body but the current emperor AND all the past emperors are in that body so they are all there together. And the emperor's telling Yue how he, too, will be a part of them. Change of scene. Yue's talking to Xing and it seems Li's already left for somewhere. And Yue's like you love these people and I don't. He cuts off his ponytail (Yue was sporting one before whereas Xing doesn't have one) and tells Xing, you are now Yue and I am Xing. He hands Xing (now Yue) the papers meant for the future emperor and says he'll be leaving now. The woman finds him and confronts him and leaves with him. Scene switches to the southern WH center that's up in flames. Xing (the old Yue) is confronted by the vision of the human supporter who looks like him.... the emperor of Virong. The emperor says, it's been a while, brother. Scene switches.. it's still the southern WH center but a different part of it. You see a gun and a cut-off arm on the ground. You see Tasha grasping his right arm whose forearm is missing. A guy calling himself the knight of the lake, Lancelot, says he'll be taking back Mordred now. Tasha's like wth is this Mordred, she's not Mordred, her name is Halloween. And Halloween's mine, I won't give her to anyone!! And thus ends volume 5.

On this matter, I finally read another volume now I'm on chapter 24
And yeah, now that the past of Xing is known, the action just get really intense. We know about Halloween's true nature, though it's another flash-back, so we don't know the fight yet, only the beginning of it, with the ennemy appearing.
Oh and we finally get to see East fighting against this guy from the White section...I'm even more a fan of East now she's just terribly awesome!

The beginning of this volume is a flash-forward, meaning you're seeing what will happen after the volume 6. In fact the fight where you see Tasha being completly owned begins at the end of this same volume, though, it's just Tasha and the knight tauting each other as far as I remember (Tasha just kicked out all the witches who were here)
Oh, and also this knight is one of the rare humans working for a Witch, in this case I think it was North i my memory isn't wrong), and he seems to be linked with Halloween whose True Identity was revealed by him

The new witch, 포에네, (in vol 8) is the best thing since Halloween. I'm not entirely sure if she's a witch or a random person, as I haven't read that far, but seeing as she used South's hat to warp in (or she was staying there), probability of her being a witch is 99%. Her name in english would be... Poene? Maybe it's supposed to be Phoene?

From what I read in the comments, it seems that it finally reached the point where we see a part of Halloween's true form (another A-cup ^^)...so that means the fighting is against the other guy using Magic Bullets right? That was quite a good fight (though, there is some even better after)

Does breaking 1 seal return halloween into his orginal form? Cause Halloween still has another seal, so if this is her orginal form then what the other seal for? The two seals is making remember the swords from bleach, as they have 2 releases. maybe more seal is close to it orginal form?
