I think it's pretty cute. It could be a little more clear with the romance though. Did she fall in love with Shiro? Gah, I never understood...

I thought the manga was too hard on the shinigami. It was pretty sad. He lives on only in her memory eh? I'm not too happy with that... I liked Full Moon because its ending didn't bring misfortune to anyone. This manga's ending was rather tragic. >.>

Shiroo...

I agree with you except for the last 2 lines, I don't think it is rather tragic. Although I also prefer the ending not bringing misfortune to anyone...;) And lives on in memory doesn't seem so bad, to me. And I think she (the main girl, which i forgets the name) did fall in love with shiro but its a different kind of love.

Ehh? But poor Shiro fell so deeply in love with her that he gave up his life for her. He definitely loved her more.

-sniff-

It's like A Tale of Two Cities all over again. Lucie ends up with Darnay and not Carton like EVERYONE wants. >.>

You're right about it not being tragic, but I feel so bad for Shiro. He was my favorite character in this manga. >.>

Oh yes... the length was too short to be able to remember the manga. D:

Good point... I'll forget it too... D:

Hmm, good read, but it's not really the shortness that is the problem here. It's the common- placeness of the uplot. I mean, when you come right down to it, there's nothing so special here (sure the circumstances was diffrent but that's a given).

It would have been better(i.e. more memorable) IMO, if she died after Shiro took away her life, but then again that would be too sad.

The manga was, in my opinion pretty tragic from the beggining. The moment the Shinigami said that she was going to die, pretty much nothing good could have come, if she died so would her boyfriend. And it was kind of tragic on the Shinigami since even if he killed her I doubt he would be able to meet with her. And her boyfriend would be sad to.
Also, it was way to short, I forgot all of the character's name.

Yes, unfortunately... the story had a lot of potential to be a long classic. It failed. D:

I'm still upset about the length...

i am curious, if she "beat" her fate of death.....what does that mean, would she somehow become immortal, or has her "death date" just been changed.....just one of the things on my mind after reading this manga.......

On why we will forget this story, I don't think it's because of it's length or common-nees, but because it was compact. Much more detail could have been added. (it was very this-this-this-end.it needed a little... not filler, but expansion. like the movie tickets thing.) Character diolouge seemed to support this alot- I only remember shiro not getting straight to the point when he danced around liking the girl. (gah! I've completely forgotten it!)
Even so, it was a very sweet story. It could have been alot better- but as it was the first two volume for the author I think It was a fantastic job. deserves a "good work" sticker. lol.

I don't think she would be immortal... pehaps her death date just changed? that other deathgod (the one in black) siad that he knew that it wouldn't work out between a human and a God of death, indicating that he had been in the same situation before. Maybe he decided to change her date of death to when she was older out of pity for the disapered Shiro? Or perhaps she is immortal. (maybe has to kill herself to die?)

Very sad story and pretty art, I think I had tears in my eyes when the shinigami had to vanish... Good story!
