I didn't knew a film was made from this manga, it's rather strange, this Tsutomu isn't the most well-known mangaka (even if his mangas are all great!)
Well, this short story as really good, it's not my very favorite from Tsutomu but it's still better than the usuals seinen!

Indeed. Jiraishin is one of my many favorites. Alive! too, despite being short, has a dark and intense theme to it and is eidetic of certain human desires.

Kinda interesting, but nothing about clicked from decent to good in my books. I kinda felt like it was intended for someone else who wasn't me

This became one of my favourite mangas of all time.

I loved the art, the intensity, the narrative, how you knew this wasn't for kids.

And more importantly you always felt the mangaka knew where they were going with the story.

i started reading this manga because i needed sumthing new to read. Alive! has definately become a favorite of mine. I love how this story contains maturity and i love the internal and external conflicts

I read this manga as i wanted to kill some time and it was really good. It was a really dark and twisted story but the last page of the last chapter was such an amazing way of ending the entire story. One of my favourite parts of any manga i have ever read.

I liked this manga alot! the stroyline was really interesting and it showed his state of mind after his gf's rape really well. Great ending (though I kinda expected it in the last couple chapters) And the artwork worked really well with the mood of the story. (I hate how some mangakas don't match story and art well.)

the concept was weak and it was probably just too short, art was okay.. overall, 3/10
