~%{The Strawhat Pirates}%~

Monkey D. Luffy
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/th_LuffyNeverGiveUp01-1.png (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/LuffyNeverGiveUp01-1.png)
Position: Captain
Epithet: "Straw Hat" Luffy
Bounty: 300,000,000 Belli
Joined: Chapter 1 (started crew)

Luffy is captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and the sole reason why the Straw Hats Pirates exist. He ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi, giving him the ability to stretch parts of his body like rubber. His dream is to become the new Pirate King. Luffy received a bounty of 30 million after he defeated Arlong. After he defeated Crocodile, his bounty rose to 100 million. After the attack on Enies Lobby, his bounty rose once again to 300 million.

While Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hats and the strongest one of them, he is not exactly the most well rounded of captains. He doesn't know things that his fellow crew members are well versed in which he openly admitted. He doesn't act like a proper captain at times, and apparently seems to receive more orders from his crew than actually giving orders to them. In fact, the whole situation sometimes seems like Luffy needs his crew more than they need him. However while the rest of the crew may admit occasionally that Luffy is a burden to them, they actually indeed depend on him. In fact, it is through his exploits that their lives have been changed in one way or another so they could pursue their own dreams also he is the only one capable at the time to defeat the "Boss" of the area.

Roronoa Zoro
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/th_ZoroRazorsEdge01.png (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/ZoroRazorsEdge01.png)
Position: First mate/Swordsman
Epithet: "Pirate Hunter" Zoro
Bounty: 120,000,000 Belli
Joined: Chapter 5

Zoro is the first person to join Luffy's group. He is a swordsman who uses a distinct style called Santōryū and is considered the first mate of the crew. His dream is to become the world's strongest swordsman. Zoro received a bounty of 60 million after defeating Mr. 1. After the attack on Enies Lobby, his bounty rose to 120 million.

Among the crew, Zoro is one of the strongest. He is so strong that several characters have questioned why he himself is not the captain. While he may not be the captain, Zoro fully acknowledges that Luffy is captain. He also understands his role in the crew as well as the others. While he supports the rest of the crew, this logic of his has sometimes put the rest of the crew in situations that may risk their overall friendship. He however, nonetheless considers them as good comrades.

Nami
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/th_NamiBringIt01.png (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/NamiBringIt01.png)
Position: Navigator
Epithet: "Burglar Cat" Nami
Bounty: 16,000,000 Belli
Joined: Chapter 21; officially joined chapter 94

Nami is the second person to join Luffy's group. She is the navigator of the crew and is also, more-or-less, in charge when the crew is sailing. She somewhat fulfills the roles of both treasurer and quartermaster as well. Though not a strong fighter, she uses a collapsible staff in battle, which Usopp upgraded to the Clima-Tact. The weapon was later upgraded to the Perfect Clima-Tact. Her dream is to make a world map. After the attack on Enies Lobby, Nami received a bounty of 16 million.

At first glance, she may seem selfish, greedy and even heartless, but she is merely a determined, intelligent young woman , who is driven most of all by helping those she loves. This shown for the first time during the events in Arlong Park, when she appeared to betray the crew by stealing their ship, while really acting for the greater good of freeing her village from Arlong.

Usopp
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/th_SogekingMaskedAvenger01.png (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/SogekingMaskedAvenger01.png)
Position: Marksman
Epithet: "King of Snipers" Sogeking
Bounty: 30,000,000 Belli
Joined: Chapter 41; officially rejoined chapter 439

Usopp is the third person to join Luffy's group. He is the Marksman or Sniper of the crew. Unlike the most of the crew, Usopp isn't as physically strong so he instead uses an assortment of weapons to aid him. The most notable of which is his slingshot which was later upgraded to the Kabuto. With his skills in sniping, he has displayed astonishing feats of marksmanship which have been complemented by the rest of the crew. His dream is to become a brave pirate like his father, Yasopp. After the attack on Enies Lobby, his alias, Sogeking received a bounty of 30 million.

Looking up to his father, Usopp loves being a pirate and loves being a member of the Straw Hat Crew. He hopes to be one day be like him. This however is constantly contradicted by the fact he is generally coward. Despite this he has had several moments in which had to put his fears aside. This usually involves serious matters involving his friends and such. Usopp's role in the crew came into question during the events in Water 7. Due to events involving Going Merry, he quit the crew and he remained so for 106 Chapters. After which, he rejoined after apologizing for the way he acted.

Sanji
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/th_SanjiKickitUp01.png (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/SanjiKickitUp01.png)
Position: Chef
Epithet: "Black Leg" Sanji
Bounty: 77,000,000 Belli
Joined: Chapter 68

Sanji is the fourth person to join Luffy's group. He is the chef of the ship and is responsible for the crew's welfare. He uses a distinct fighting style which utilizes only his legs due to his profession as a cook. He used to work on the Baratie before he met Luffy. His dream is to find the All Blue which is said to be found in the Grand Line. After the attack on Enies Lobby, Sanji received a bounty of 77 million.

Sanji is a firm believer in how a cook should be. Whenever a person is too hungry to go on, Sanji would feed them regardless if they have money or not. Sanji is also ladies man and is often lovestruck with any beautiful woman, be it friend or foe. This often gives the female members of crew privileges such as extra deserts and such. While he may sometimes seem too much with his flirting and all, Sanji abides by chivalry and would never hit or harm a woman. This has however come at a price at one time. Sanji has a slight and often fierce rivalry with Zoro which they once had to seriously put aside in order to win a fight. Among the crew, Sanji comes as a suave and reliable element who provides more than just food in the scheme of things.

Tony Tony Chopperhttp://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/th_ChopperBadMedicine01.png (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/ChopperBadMedicine01.png)
Position: Doctor
Epithet: "Cotton Candy Lover" Chopper
Bounty: 50 Belli
Joined: Chapter 152

Chopper is the fifth person to join Luffy's group. He is the doctor of the ship and is responsible for the crew's health. He is a reindeer who ate the Hito Hito no Mi which allows him to change to various forms. With the Rumble Ball he can change into other forms outside the Zoan Devil Fruit limitations. He used to live in Drum Island before he met Luffy. His dream is to create a panacea which can cure all diseases. After the attack on Enies Lobby, Chopper received a bounty of 50 belli.

Before Chopper joined, the Straw Hats were often lucky that a doctor or at least someone with medical skills was around to heal them. His addition to the crew has greatly benefited them to a great degree. Chopper, being the young reindeer he is, often feels like he needs to exert more effort to be part of the crew. While he may not realize, he actually is.

Nico Robin
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/th_RobinTrueHistory01-1.png (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/RobinTrueHistory01-1.png)
Position: Archaeologist
Epithet: "Demon Child" Nico Robin
Bounty: 80,000,000 Belli
Joined: Chapter 217; officially joined (or rejoined) Chapter 398

Robin is the sixth person to join Luffy's group. She is an archaeologist who was first introduced as the Baroque Works vice president, Miss All Sunday. She ate the Hana Hana no Mi which enables her to sprout arms and any of body parts to many copies. She joined the Straw Hats after the incidents in Arabasta wherein Luffy saved her from dying in the tomb. Her dream is to search for the Rio Poneglyph said to contain the "True History". 20 years ago, she received a bounty of 79 million for the reason given by the World Government of sinking six battleships. After the attack on Enies Lobby, her bounty rose to 80 million and her wanted poster was updated.

Robin comes as a mystery to most people. Most of the time no one exactly knows what she's really thinking or what her true motives. It was not until the events in Water 7 and Enies Lobby, that her past and her feelings towards the rest of the crew were revealed. She was a child from Ohara who witnessed the horrors of the Buster Call first hand. She was falsely accused of sinking the six Battleships in order so that the Government could capture the last survivor of that incident. Since the Enies Lobby events, she has become more open to the rest of the crew.

Franky (Cutty Flam)
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/th_2209678-1.png (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/2209678-1.png)
Position: Shipwright
Epithet: "Cyborg" Franky
Bounty: 44,000,000 Belli
Joined: Chapter 437

Franky is the seventh person to join Luffy's group. He was originally named Cutty Flam until he threw away his original name for his nickname per the request by Iceburg to hide his identity. He is the shipwright of the crew and one who built and designed the Thousand Sunny. He was first introduced as the underworld boss of the infamous Franky Family in Water 7. He is a cyborg with all sorts of modifications made to his body. His dream is to build a "Dream Ship" that will sail around the world like the Oro Jackson his mentor Tom built. After the attack on Enies Lobby, Franky received a bounty of 44 million.

Franky comes as a wild card of a characters. He prefers wearing speedos to pants and likes posing even in the most inappropriate situations. While Franky may seem like tough guy most of time, he has his soft side. He established the Franky Family so that those who either homeless or have no decent jobs could have a place to be in, an act which was greatly returned by them. Whenever he is in an deeply emotional situation, he breaks out in tears but often denies crying. Overall, Franky is one of the more crazier characters in One Piece but a good guy nonetheless. Also he often cries when hears tales of great bravery or unity among people.

Brooke
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/Brooke-1.jpg
Position: Musician
Epithet: Humming Brooke
Bounty: 33,000,000 Belli
Joined: Chapter 489

Brook is the Eighth person to join Luffys crew. Brook is first introduced as a skeleton inhabiting the region of the Grand Line known as the Florian Triangle. He is a former member of the Rumba Pirates, a crew of musicians who sailed the Grand Line from West Blue over fifty years prior to the current time frame of the story. They were followed by the whale Laboon, who took a particular liking to Brook's peculiar afro and his enchanting music. Promising to return after sailing the Grand Line, the crew left Laboon at the lighthouse at Reverse Mountain, stating that the Grand Line is too dangerous for such a small whale.

After entering the Florian Triangle, Brook's entire crew was slaughtered by an unknown pirate crew. Because he ate the Yomi Yomi no Mi, a Devil Fruit that allows the user to come back to life after dying, Brook's spirit returned to the Grand Line, however, he got lost due to the intense fog in the Florian Triangle. After wandering for some time, he finally found his body, which had decayed to nothing but bleached bones leaving only his afro, which remained thanks to his strong roots.

http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/Natsu77/700px-Onepiece_cp9.jpg
From left to right:

Blueno, Age 30

Blueno is a large man with broad shoulders and bull-like hair protrusions, and was a member of the Water 7 infiltration team. He is shown to be calm, cool, and collected even in battle, the only one to remain so other then Rob Lucci. In addition to mastering the six CP9 Rokushiki, he has consumed Doa Doa no Mi (Door Door Fruit) which allows him to create doors on any surface, even the air and on other people. He is defeated by Luffy’s gear second on the roof of the courthouse, and is the first CP9 to be defeated.

Fukurou, Age 29

Fukorou is a large, oddly shaped man who wears a zipper across his mouth to prevent him from blurting out secrets. He is shown to be rather big mouthed (both figuratively and literally), and the zipper does little to help prevent him from revealing secrets at inopportune moments. He fights with a specialized punch named Jugon, which he claims is more damaging then Shigan. He is defeated by Franky, who uses a powerful Coup de Vent to knock him out.

Spandam, Age 39

Spandam is the leader of CP9 and one of the two main antagonists of the CP9 Saga. By far the weakest member of the group, he relies on natural cunning to avoid battle and often displays extreme cowardice. He owns a sword “Funk freed,” that has been merged with the Zou Zou no Mi (Elephant Elephant Fruit) giving it the ability to transform into an elephant. He is defeated by Robin, who breaks his back with her devil fruit powers.

Kaku, Age 23

Kaku is the second strongest member of CP9 and a member of the Water 7 infiltration team. He is cold and rather emotionless, though he laughs and enjoys himself when in combat, something he considers to be rather enjoyable. He is a swordsman of great skill in addition to have mastering the six CP9 Rokushiki, and uses the four sword fighting style (two swords in his hands and rankyaku with his legs), and has also consumed a devil fruit, the Ushi Ushi no Mi (Cow Cow fruit, Model: Giraffe). He is defeated by Zoro in a sword duel that completely destroyed the Tower of Justice.

Rob Lucci, Age 28

The most cold-hearted and efficient assassin in Cipher Pol 9 history, Rob Lucci is one of the two main antagonists of the CP9 saga and was a member of the Water 7 infiltration team. Shown to be a firm believer in “dark justice,” Rob Lucci is a man of cold cruelty overshadowed by an overly dark nature. His fighting abilities are far beyond the other CP9 members, and in addition to mastering the six CP9 Roukishiki he has consumed the Neko Neko Mi (Cat Cat fruit, Model: Leapord). He is defeated by Luffy after a long, climactic battle in Enies Lobby.

Jyabura, Age 35

Jyabura is the third strongest member of CP9, and is the leader of a team consisting of himself, Fukurou, and Kumadori. He is shown to be deceptive, competitive, and superstitious in nature, and is often given to wild fits of emotion. In addition to mastering the six CP9 Rokushiki, he is the only one to have mastered Tekkai Kempo, a martial art form that allows him to move while using Tekkai. He has also consumed a devil fruit, the Inu Inu no Mi (Dog Dog fruit, Model: Wolf). He initially fights Usopp, who is unable to win in combat, but Sanji later appears and defeats Jyabura.

Kalifa, Age 25

Kalifa is the only woman in CP9, and was one of the members of the Water 7 infiltration team. During Water 7, Kalifa is shown to hate men, considering their speech, actions, and existence as sexual harassment. That being said, she never hesitated to use her femininity to her utmost advantage in her battle with Sanji, where she teased and pummeled him. In addition to mastering the six CP9 Rokushiki, she has also consumed the devil fruit Awa Awa no Mi (Bubble Bubble Fruit) which allows her to create cleansing bubbles that “clean” off a persons energy and turn them into mannequins. She initially defeats Sanji, who refuses to fight her, but is later defeated by Nami who figures out her fruit’s weakness and knocks her out with a Lightning Tempo.

Kumadori, Age 34

Kumadori is a large, distinctive man easily recognizable by his large pinkish hair and closed right eye. He follows a skewed form of the samurai code, and is often seen comically committing seppuku (ritual suicide) for the faults of others, though he instinctively saves himself each time through the use of Tekkai each time. In addition to mastering the six CP9 Rokushiki, he has also mastered Life Return, which allows him to control every cell in his body, including his hair. He initially fights Nami, who steals his key, and later confronts Chopper, who is clearly losing until he unleashes his forbidden “Monster Point” to defeat Kumadori.

Nero (Not Pictured)
Nero is the newest member of CP9, and is first introduced on the Puffing Tom during the escort mission to bring Nico Robin back to Enies Lobby. Being a new recruit, Nero has only mastered four of the six Rokushiki, Soru, Geppou, Kami-e, and Rankyaku. He is defeated by Franky on the roof of the Puffing Tom.

Spandine (Not Pictured)

Spandine was the former leader of CP9, and is only shown in the flashback of Robin’s past. Like his son, he is categorized by extreme cowardice, arrogance, periodic stupidity, and has none of the powers of his subordinates. He is responsible for the Buster Call on the island of Ohara, and place the initial 79 million bounty on Nico Robin’s head.

~**Devil Fruits**~
The Devil Fruit, when consumed, gives the consumer a power or special trait. There are more than 100 types of Devil Fruit, they come in different shapes, colors, and all Devil Fruits have swirl marks on them of some kind. There can be only one of each type of fruit. Only one bite is needed for the user to gain the power of a Devil Fruit, after which the Devil Fruit becomes a simple, useless, disgusting fruit. Swallowing the fruit whole, as Buggy did, has the same effect. There have also been inanimate objects that have gained the power of Devil Fruits because of Dr. Vegapunk, such as Lassoo the dog/gun and Funkfreed the elephant/sword. With this new power comes a weakness: the sea rejects the new Devil Fruit user and they become helpless while submerged in water.

~**Paramecia-Type**~

These alter the user's body in some way or give the user a special ability which does not fit into the other categories. For example: Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi, which changes the user into stretchable rubber; also, Buggy the Clown's Bara Bara no Mi, which gives the user command over splitting apart his own body and controlling the pieces at will.

~**Zoan-Type**~
Allows the user to transform into an animal. This fruit provides three forms: the user's natural form, a full animal form (where the animal's size is often greatly exaggerated), and a hybrid form, combining both original and animal form (usually in a bizarre way).

~**Logia-Type**~

With these fruits, the user may actually become a natural element or compound, or form of energy in its entirety. Ever since their abilities are gained, they are neither completely human nor element in their default state. However, Logia users have the option of turning completely into their element if they so wish. This is often used for crossing great distances quickly, or avoiding blows should their weakness have been discovered.

The List of Devil Fruits:
Awa Awa Fruit (Bubble Bubble Fruit): Allows user to emit and control soap and bubbles to “clean off” one’s power, basically draining energy, and leaving them clean and shiny. The user can surround themselves as well, as a “soap sheep”
User: Kalifa

Baku Baku Fruit (Munch Munch Fruit): Allows the user to eat anything, and rearrange its molecules to shift his body shape into what they ate.
User: King Wapol

Bane Bane Fruit (Spring Spring Fruit): Allows user to change body parts into a spring. This is mostly used with the legs.
User: Bellamy the Hyena

Bara Bara Fruit (Chop Chop Fruit): Allows the user to split their body at any given point, and allows the parts flight. The feet are the exception, and can only stay on the ground.
User: Buggy the Clown

However, the tail of the form can be tied to an object to limit their movement and leaving them vulnerable.
User: Boa Sandersonia

Hebi Hebi Fruit model King Cobra (Snake Snake Fruit Model King Cobra): The fruit's major strength, as demonstrated by Marigold, is that along with physical strength gained from their transformed forms, they gain a long versatile body that they can use like a real King Cobra as well as the ability to spit venom for longe ranged combat. However, the tail of the form can be tied to an object to limit their movement and leaving them vulnerable.
User: Boa Marigold

Hie Hie Fruit (Ice Ice Fruit): Allows user to control and form body into ice. User can also turn water into ice.

Allows a person to fire a beam that uses a person's emotions, particularly emotions of lust or perversion, against them, particularly in transforming them into stone. "Meromero" is an onomotopeia of "to fall down drunk", including being overcome with emotion such as love or lust.
User: Boa Hancock

User: Smoker

Neko Neko Fruit Model Leopard (Cat Cat Fruit Model Leopard): Allows user to change into a Leopard.

The things the user can push include both the tangible, such as persons and themselves, and the intangible, such as air and fire. They are also able to push these things at the speed of light. The user's ability to move these things are physically represented as "paw pads" on the user's palms.
User: Bartholamew Kuma

Nora Nora Fruit (Slow Slow Fruit): Allows user to shoot a photon beam that slows an object down for 30 seconds.
User: Foxy, the Silver Fox.

Ori Ori Fruit (Cage Cage Fruit): Puts iron shackles around anything that passes through the user’s body.
User: Hina

Pika Pika Fruit (Glimmer Glimmer Fruit): "Pikapika" is an onomatopoeia of glimmering or shining light, or a "Light Man". Movies
Since the debut of the series on television, Toei Animation has also produced nine One Piece feature films, released each spring since the year 2000. In typical fashion for movies based on serialized manga, the films feature self-contained, completely original plots with animation of higher quality than what the weekly anime allows for. Additionally, three of these movies have had special "featurette" shorts, showcasing the characters engaged in various activities unrelated to the series (specifically dancing, playing soccer, and playing baseball).

One Piece: The Movie
(2000)The crew comes across an island that is said to be the location of an amazing collection of gold, but they are not the only ones after it.

Clockwork Island Adventure
(2001)
When their ship is stolen, the Straw Hats come across a thief duo that claims it was stolen by the Trump Pirates, who have taken over Clockwork Island. To make things even' worse, the Trump Pirates kidnap Nami so she can marry their leader. The Straw Hats have to stop them before it's too late.

Chopper's Kingdom on the Island of Strange Animals
(2002)
The crew searches for the "Crowning Treasure", but as they approach the island it is said to be on, they are sent into 'the air, separating Chopper from the group. On the island, the animals declare Chopper their king. However, there are people besides the Straw Hats looking for the Crowning Treasure.

Dead End Adventure
(2003)
