I have watched this show some time back but did not make it till the end. I kinda like the idea of using cards to make oneself more powerful in this anime.

...Sakura From Tsubasa is Older, but not the older Sakura for CCS. They're...from...differen't worlds...Wow, thats werid. Haha, that Sakura Kinomoto is in the same world as Watanuki, living with her 'boyfriend'.

But this is series is rather 'cute'. I liked it, but the anime was better. =D (And I have the Sakura cards. Somewhere in my room...)

Its origional Japanese title is Cardcaptor Sakura.
When the series was dubbed into English, they shortened the name to Cardcaptors. Although the english opening is so lame.

I saw Volume 4,5 and 6 at Kinokuniya today. I heard that they reprinted the manga and re-imaged it. Hence, we have different versions of it out there for now. By the way tohru-san, よろしくおねがいしますね。

you could read the manga in the onemanga site its their complete already ( though I didn't know if each page is complete ) and about the missing page maybe it realy is missing or its not missing its just not part maybe the number of page is wrong or if the missing part is really a part of the story well you can consider it missing

Yeah :) most large book shops has it so you can always go in, sit down and read it... but I do agree, If you really enjoy a manga then you should buy it and support the author... and it's much nicer to read when you have the book infront of you instead of staring and the computer screen and wait for the downloads...^^... The only people I can think of are Syaoran and Clow Reed, (also known as Eriol) but neither of them have a tiger, Clow Reed has a panther though. Unless you are talking about Sakura's guardian whose name is Cerberus. (also Keroberos or Kero) Otherwise I have no Idea who you are talking about.

I like Cardcaptors, I've watched a lot of episodes of the anime but not all of it. I like the dub but the story (not the voices) really butchered it, it's alright that they took out some gay and lesbian parts, but they didn't have to take out all the good Syaoran/Sakura parts. That is what I loved about the second movie, didn't care for the voices, but I'm glad they didn't take out any parts in it.

I never got the opportunity to read the manga of CCS, I watched the show about 9 years ago (English dub) and thought it was cool, and have now managed to watch the English sub version off of Veoh, but i can't find the manga anywhere :( None of the shops around here seem to have it or anything.

Is it really worth reading the manga?

CCS is great, the only problem i ever had with it was that they're all in, like 4th grade, and they're in love? gimme a break, syaoran and sakura in TRC is a lot more mature, if they were in CCS, CCS would have been perfect.

syaoran is one of my faverate character ever, i'm not much of a sakura fan.

It was...but I liked, "The Nothing," better. Everything it touched ceased to exist, even people.
Syaoran x Sakura thing was strange beyond comparison, I agree. Nobody even thinks about those things at that age...Even if they went to grade 6 after that.-__- But this is a manga and it was made to suit the readers interest.

That's right. Besides, CCS was really meant to be for kids who are in 5 or 6th grade but it got popular really quickly to other age levels.

I just watched the japanese version of the CCS series... it's a wonder how much stuff is cut out from it in the english version because it's deemed 'inappropriate' in the west (as it follows the manga quite closely).... and i guess they really had to cut those scenes out or there's no way it would be allow to be broadcusted on kids air-time. (in most Asian countries, it's another story...)
But I have to say, the japanese versions are a lot better. ^^ and it's CLAMP... they're know for their weired relationship parings anyway... people should've known and accepted that by now :P (or they shouldn't be reading and watching CLAMP works ^.~)

Probably the first mahou shoujo manga/anime I watched/read.

It was quite entertaining when I was watching it. I liked the Sakura cards arc alot (when she was turning the Clow Cards into Sakura cards) Those were fun times.

They came with the mangas when they bought them. It came with the second edition- the Japanese originals also came with cards if I think what I heard was true.

There is actually a card pack which I brought a long time ago and it has all the clow cards! (They only have one when the Kinokuniya opened in Sydney!). I was obessed and went straight to purchase that! Even now this is my treasure! XD

Possible Spoilers:
In the 3rd TRC OVA the Sakura from CCS helps the Sakura from TRC. It was nice to see her there but it's really gonna mess up the TRC storyline if they ever decide to continue...
Also the CCS sakura is "Syaoran's"(TRC) mother and the CCS Syaoran is his father. Also Yuuko from holic has CCS Sakura's sealing wand and Clow Reed is mentioned a lot. Fei Wang is his decendant and Yuuko said the Mokonas were created by him.

If Yuuko hasn't yet met CCS Sakura and Syaoran, then how did she get Sakura's star wand as a price for one of her wishes?
I can't remember what the wish was, but I still remember that Sakura gave her star wand to Yuuko.

So she met them BEFORE Syaoran turned back time.

season 2? TRC is more of a CCS season 2 than a story to bring the CLAMP Multiverse together..
