And again it's me opening the School Rumble topic. I somehow have the feeling only a few people read it (after seeing how many responds there were last time) which would be weird. It's probably underrated. I started reading it out of boredom myself and was overwhelmed by it.

This manga maybe underrated but to me, it seems its fans are very passionate about the characters and its pairings. Granted the last couple chapters have been slow compared to previous chapters, i thought some real action would occur after the hospital.

I guess you can say i'm an onigiri fan because of the incident of the slap, but i still like eri and want her to be happy. I wish all the girls would get who they are after, but alas its not possible. I cant be loyal in this manga.

this manga is great one of the manga I waiting weekly to be scan and translate but the latest chapter sucks whats with the whole walking thing I like the part on thier feild trip to kyoto if I'am not mistaken I like the part of harima on a shogun clothes bang with max and I thing things will start to be greater their but it became useless to read I wish thier will be a new arc intruduce to this manga :cool:

I dont think i could handle another character. Its hard enough spreading attention with the current characters.

I dont like karasuma either, he is so boring. Even if he wasnt in the story, i dont think harime would have a chance, she would remember the incident when they first met. She initiated the kiss, but when she woke up she thought it was him taking advantage of her.

Its hard to enjoy the series with the mangaka throwing the ball back and forth with no progress whatsoever on any of the pairings... Well that was just one side of the series, I also started reading it for the comedy!

Yeah... its not that hot on that subject either... Only some of the characters make me laugh (Tougou always cracks me up), and thats why I keep track of the new releases.

Fortunately, term is almost over and that idiot karasuma will be forced to leave, also wrapping up the conflict that started it all, which is for tenma to make a move already! Sheesh, if I was asked to stay 3 years on the same school because someone needed more time to tell me something, Id be really pissed at the girl who waited for the very last day to step up.

I don't think Karasuma CAN get pissed. He'll probably just put on his Anger-jacket (which looks like any other of his jackets) and that's it. How can anyone (even someone as dull as Tenma) like that guy? He's the most boring person I've ever seen. :lol:

i love the series =) does onemanga show the latest chapters? i think i saw an episode (anime) where it was beyond the point where they were. o well =) i love everything about it so far... i think this series is very underated. everything from the story line to the hilarious situations make this series one of my fave ^^

I watched both seasons and I loved them both. Also, season 2's opening was so awesome...
The Anime even made me like Tougou. I never liked him in the Manga but in the Anime, when the national anthem of America starts playing during his speeches I can't stop lauching. XD

My favorite parts are the "school war" and the play with princess Harima. XD

I guess those are some kind of filler episodes because otherwise they would have reached 26 episodes in the middle of the class trip to Kyoto. So they put in those fillers so they can start season 3 with that topic. At least I hope there will be a third season and it's very likely there will. ;)

He's been in hospital for a long time already. In Chapter 226 he gets sick from eating too much of Tenma's curry despite his appendix already being in a bad state (and in chapter 227 Eri visits him with Nakamura).

Anyway I like this manga because it's full of misunderstanding and comedy. And this manga is kinda logic too. Although tenma's psycic, yakumo's mental reading and iori's changing skill are not logical.

I indeed think that Yakumo likes Harima just because he doesn't like her (as in: she can't read his thoughts). On the other hand, she doesn't really have any experience with guys. Nope, it was explicitely said that she can only read the minds of people who are in love with her. While she was working with Harima (I think during the blackout) there were a few seconds where she saw his mind (it was completely blank though ^^). So for a moment he loved her, thanks to the romantic mood.

Btw if you read the OVAs (or whatever they are) you can see that she red harimas thoughts for a short moment, even tough it only was becuase according to Harima she looked like Tenma.

I mean, they're not even an item, obviously Harima has never shown any romantic tendencies to her (well, Harima never really showed romantic tendencies to anybody apart from those he showed to Tenma.. which SHE never noticed anyway). Did anybody notice that she gets overly posessive/jealous when it comes to Yakumo's relationship with Harima? Remember the nobu incident when Yakumo made a potato-filled lobster for Harima and she gets all jealous and annoying?

well for one thing there's nothing that makes the reader want to root for a harima/tenma couple at least imo. if you can point out why they should be together maybe that will enlighten me. harima is also obsessive about tenma and eveytime he's around her he gets pretty dumb and personally i don't like the scenarios as it just comes full circle. the "misunderstandings" are resolved and he goes back to chasing her and we are back at square one with no development at all.

Yeah, that pairing is the best. Harima needs to just give up on Tenma, shes not worth it. Her only good point imo is that shes funny.

I felt like School Rumble got kinda boring but these new chapters were so awesome. The first few finally made me laugh again and then those last few... Karasuma will die and Harima finally gave up on Tenma. Now that was surprising. :eek:

The OVA should be with the first season. It's called "School Rumble: Ichi Gakki Hoshuu" after all and Ichi Gakki is the first term, season two is called Ni Gakki.

My bad. Anyway, the last panel showed Harima saying that Karasuma was heading off to the airport immediately after that. My post was regarding the last two chapters before 264, but now that's done with...

Karasuma certainly took centrestage in this chapter. I was pleasantly surprised by his unexpectedly fierce expressions and his heated declaration. Tells us how much we really knew about Karasuma back then.

The last page left me somewhat amused, though. It almost seemed as though Tenma was trying to get herself 'drunk' on having fun with her friends to forget what happened.

Had the releases stopped at 265, we're going to have a hell of a discussion about the current relationship entanglements Harima is in. On one hand, it's the Harima-Tenma-Karasuma triangle while on the other, the more or less obvious Yakumo-Harima pairing. 265 had good potential for another misunderstanding, but apparently Yakumo knew best in the end about Harima's feelings for Tenma.

266 was pretty fun, not that 265 isn't. Tougou's appearance spiced things up a little, together with the typical 'friends doing it all for you' scenario. It's going to be hell if Harima drives to the wrong airport, but I doubt that would happen, not after the build-up before this.

i find tenma funny, but i've never been a fan of hers. i like harima, eri, yakumo (i want all three to be happy together, though i know its impossible [polygymi or however its spelled still isnt legal, even in fictional japan]), and akira. mostly akira, i love how she knows exactly what happens when she sees that harima has grabbed eri while naked, she's a secret agent, and she's got wierd hobbies. yakumo b/c she's so...i cant actually describe why i like her
