by the way, did you find the ending hanging? i did...i wish they showed what happened in the future or something...hehe...but still i was satisfied... ^_^v

i luv this series and i luved the ending. i agree that izumi looks really really hot with his hair cut off like that. i luved in the ending when yasukuni burst into tears saying he was so worried--> lolz

Oh, good, someone had created a thread for this series long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, no wait, wrong forum, not the chit chat forum. :D The user Catalyste mentioned this series, so I tried it and now I hope she comes onto the forum to talk about it with me and anyone else who's interested in it. :)

Anyway, I just started reading and has finished volume 1. It was great! I'm actually also reading her current series, Ultimate Venus, which I thought I really liked, but Tenshi Ja Nai just blew that out of the water because of all the juicy secrets in its story.

The girl Hikaru is a real complex character in that she wants to avoid attention at all costs, but has to pretend some interest because people still end paying attention to you if you're aloof. I tried to wrap that around my head and it's a very difficult tightrope to walk on.

Izumi's a fantastic juicy character, no one of these nice, but rather simple characterized characters in manga series out there, especially in shoujo mangas.

Last, but not least of all, I'm really impressed by how Yasukuni's hair is drawn. Lots of pretty boys in mangas, but his hair makes a distinct impression on me because of its effect of thickness. Most hair, whether guys or girls, is drawn nicely, seemingly straight, with varying amount of lines to detail the hair, but Yasukuni's hair is drawn like it's a really gorgeous head of thick hair. I don't think I see hair drawn like that a lot. For volume 1 at least for me, Yasukuni's is even hotter than Izumi!!!!
