As everyone knows the fight between those to was left at a stand still. Before the battle Teach mentioned that he needed to defeat someone with a high bounty on their head so he chose luffy. so what i think (this is totally a theory) is that teach defeated Ace(killing him) so when luffy hears about this it will bring about their battle.

the question that has been on my ming is did Ace lose because at the end you see his hat fall to the ground.

I dont think that Blackbeard killed Ace, I think that he hand over ace to the marien because he has also a high bounty probably even higher than Luffys

I doubt that because if he wants to challenge Luffy the best way to draw him out is by defeating he brother because as you know luffy hates people hurting his nakama imagine the anger he would be in if his brother was harmed Perfect way for teach to draw him out

Ace wouldnt be hurt that bad but by the looks of it he was defeated but not killed these are only theories say if he kept Ace as a hostage nullifying his logia DF powers with his powers & how the news will get to him you know that Ace is a well feared pirate so if he was being held hostage the navy would know & if the navy knows soon pirates would know (just a theory)

Well isnt he a fodder character you say his is I say he isnt because well let me put it this way he might be the brother of the main character but is he a main character. if you think about it how much have we seen of Ace to say he is a main character not a fodder character we have seen more of Johnny & Yosaku & they arent even main characters. so even though Oda said that i doubt he was thinking of Ace.

ace probably get beaten I can't think of an explanation of darkness getting beaten by flame
and that will be a great arc luffy rescuing ace and got war again with the world government but that will also be bad its like a mimic of what happen to robin but still thats an awesome idea

I think Instead of going after Luffy for his bounty I think he will turn in Ace for his bounty to World Goverment and instead of Getting a Bounty on his head he will ask to be warlord Luffy will hear this news and want to kick some ***.
