Yuji has just started a new semester of high school and everything seems to be normal. That all changes when a mysterious man named Friagne begins turning people into blue flames. And wouldn't you know it? Now he's after poor Yuji!
To the rescue comes a girl named Shana. But is she too late? As it turns out, young Yuji may already be dead. What the heck is going on? Yes what the heck is going on!? What do you think?

A red headed flame girl that has a killer sword and likes melon bread is going on. The whole anime was just built on the character development and a few battles. Nothing more. Although its still great. Short but great.

Sure there is. It's my favorite Anime (which is why I requested the Manga on the old board) and it's so awesome. I was even afraid to watch the episodes because I didn't want it to be over. I really felt bad and that's not as fuinny as it sounds now. :lol:

Maybe they might introduce some new characters to be 3rd parties. Now that would be rather interesting.

Agreed. I love the originality of those titles given. More titles mean more action and I look forward to those!

Loved the anime better. I try watching all the episodes in one day, after just watching the first episode, it is just so great. One main weakness is the boss seems os fast to get eliminated. Loved the
1st opening song. Hishoku No Sora by Kawada Mami.

I just started this manga and its okay. I feel bad for yuji though, having to try and live life knowing that any moment he might up and vanish. yeah if someone knows if there are light novel translations of shana post here (I'm a huge shana fan, hence the reason why I bought the entire 1st season on DVD) I will not however support the manga since it's not good (compared to the anime)

At least the fanmade translations of those Suzumiya-novels at baka-tsuki are filled with inaccuracies, typos, grammatical errors and sometimes totally incomprehensible sentences. You would actually prefer that over a professional translation?
But oh yeah! You'd actually have to pay for the real deal...

And don't you have bookstores there wherever you live? VizMedia licensed the novels "for western distribution", which means they're available at least in US and Europe. Probably not in Africa though...

Alright, let me rephrase. I would never buy Anime/Manga or anything related to that because it's not worth it. I watch/read them once and then never again, that would be a waste of money. I'm not enough of a fanboy to buy them for permanent use.

The only media I bought over the last years were the Lost DVDs because that's something I could watch forever.

Also, I would never buy them in a local bookstore because then I'd have to read them in German. That language is really cheesy. The most simple things sound retarded in it.
