Cross Academy is attended by two groups of students: the Day Class and the Night Class. At twilight, when the students of the Day Class return to their dorm, they cross paths with the Night Class on their way to school. Yuki Cross and Zero Kiryu are the Guardians of the school, there to protect the Day Class from the Academy's dark secret: the Night Class is full of vampires. I love vampires yes I do! well my intuition tells me kaname is the mastermind bad guy plotting on using the school and yuki to overpower himself
he probably knows something about her past (maybe she pureblood and used insane magic to turn to human?)

Hey kaname knows yuki's past. i've read it at the 30th chapter. he even erased the memories of yuki's real family. he says yuki is his girl but he hurt her anyways. i don't get him at ol. its lyk he's using yuki 4 his own gud. but only hino knows. i stil wish yuki n zero wod end up though.

There's a lot more to Yuki than meets the eye though:

Her past is such a mystery that it may reveal something extremely bad for Kaname. That @#% knows exactly what happened 2 Yuki and who her parents are but he hides it 4 his own good. Zero needs 2 deal with his demons *no pun intended* b4 he hooks up with Yuki.

I think Yuki needs to make finding out about her past her priority. She also needs 2 stand up 2 Kaname cuz that @!#% knows something.

Yeah I would also prefer Kaname-Yuuki to Zero-Yuuki pairing as Zero does sometimes get on my nerves.

However, judging from how the manga is going, it seems to be a doomed relationship for both sides. Hopefully more plot gets unwrap soon.

I just read the lastest chapter, and I don't get it.... If Shikis dad is the Real head of the Kuran family, and Kaname is his newphew, why isn't Shiki considered a Kuran, and why isn't he a pure-blood.

I just re read some of the chapters, and I think it goes like this.

Shiki-supposedly doesn't know his father was a Kuran, so he might not of known he was related to the Kurans.
I wonder whether his mom and dad where ever married, it didn't say.

Hm, I will try not to pretict what will happen, because I may end up being disappointed. Also, if I don't pretict the outcome it'll be a surprise you know?

But, I have to say, I personally like Kaname. He stole my heart when I first layed eyes on the manga(that sounded sort of creepy, oh well). If he does turn out to be the end of story villian I would be completely fine with it(except if Zero kills him). Because you gotta love a bad guy.

But from what I've read, he doesn't seem to be a bad guy. He seems as though, he is afraid of telling Yuuki of what he knows of her past. And at the same time that popped up, that one other vampire dude(I do believe his uncle, or some sort of relative) popped up too. I think that may be connected too, since also that one little boy with two different colored eyes met Yuuki, at that one party. And that child wasalso with that creepy dude.

But oh well. Can't wait to see what will happen. =D I'll most likely be happy, no matter the outcome.

the vamp society is going too far in who's going to rule or not. it was too suspicious when kaname's uncle? was in the littled kid's body, yet he was the one who led yuki to the party. Does that mean he knows of her significance to the vamp world which deals with what may have happened 10 yrs ago? And of course, kaname knows of hat happened ten years ago. I wonder if that was when the uncle was supposedly supposed to be "dead". Plus the chairman knows something too!!! >_<

Yet in a way her blood is a 'delicacy' that seems equal to the blood of a pureblood vamp. it could be that kaname performed some strong mojo on her to forget. I find it rather weird that the vampires find Yuki's blood tempting. Its rather unusual for a normal human to have such "delicious smelling blood".

Actually Im hoping that Yuki is a pure blood vampire so that we can see her in action. Maybe do some hypnosis or something. She's currently quite helpless....like a damsel in distress.

I think it may be both. Lots of people want her to end up with Kaname and others want her to be with Zero. So, it really depends on who you are.

Unless the author decides that Yuki doesn't end up with either of them and that would be evil. :mad:

Hey, new here. I LOVE VK!!!!!! I read the whole series up to chapter 31 in one night. I can't wait till the next one comes out. I am a huge fan of Yuki and Kaname. The scene where Kaname asked Yuki if she wanted to a vamp practically made my heart jump out of my chest. lol.
As for Yukis past I think that her family were vampire hunters and they killed Kaname's parents so he slaughtered them all, by his hands or with level E vamps, but when he saw Yuki he saved her because he felt a connection of something.
I know this doesn't have much evidnce to back it up, but eh, I like it that way.
They should come out with two chapters a month. I can't take only one every month. I'm goin insane!! Shouldn't the next chapter become out the week after next?
Its so hard to find good vamp mangas now a days, but this one I just fell in love with after reading the first page.
I think Yuki gives her blood to Zero because she feels obligated to. Almost as a big sis protects her little bro. She might be falling for him, but I think her love for Kaname is still out weighing that. She really shouldn't end up with Zero. They only thing he wants to do is throw away his life. He is mentally unstable. Yuki should just stay as his close friend and support system till Zero gets himself and his problems straightened out.
Yuki as a vampire? I have mixed feelings towards that. It would be cool, but it would also mean her bond with Zero might be broken. But, eh...we will just have to wait and see.

Yea I also agree with Shadowed Heart. Her situation is very similar to zero. I think that Kaname has something to do with the murder of yuuki's parents. Then he got attached to her just like the lady who killed zero's parents. I think that yuuki love zero more than kaname. Her situation is the same, she's more confident and less stress with zero, she's willing to risk her life and more concerned about zero than kaname. Those 2 are more compatible if we see it that way. Usually, people are attached to each other because they can understand the suffering and the difficulties that person is going trough. I think that she's going to pick zero but I prefer kaname x yuuki pairing.

Has much as I hate to admit Yuki loving Zero I agree with what Naan said.
Talking about this makes me wonder how many chapters or vols they're are of VK. There is still so much that needs to be undertsood and worked out. If Yuki doesn't love Kaname and ends up with Zero, what do you think will happen to Kaname? He might try to kill Zero, or even controll him, but that doesn't really seem likely. Maybe he will find love elsewhere. Possibly with Ruka. She seems to have fallin in love with Kaname after he drank her blood, but Kaname was only using her to scare off Yuki. The behavior Kaname makes me think that he just wants to use Yuki for something. Maybe power. Who knows?
